Good choice. Two strand twists create great locs in my opinion.Avoid gels/waxes at all costs. Just a sulfate free shampoo 3 times a month and leave them alone. In 3 months you should start seeing good results.Good luck

Wth can I do about the crazy itchiness, dry scalp and dandruff, I only get it when I braid my hair. I spray my hair daily with water and oil but it does nothin fam, and I have to remove my braids after 5 days max
Bro my hair gets so itchy around my hair line and sometimes in other place,and I start to get dandruff but sometimes I rub tea tree oil where it itches and it feels better sometimes for me.
That’s how mine are I don’t know how long your hair is but my hair was super fuzzy and it looked like I had a lot less dreads than I did because they were bigger at the tip and not locked but I took a crochet needle and used that to make it look lock in and look less fuzzy, just give it some time to mature
14 years and my locks never did that. I think it would be good if you talked a bit about the texture of your hair. The locking process is different for you.
Called locs. Nothing dreadful about them. Also this is for a specific curl pattern you have a looser curl I have a much tighter curl so my hair was pretty much locked in at the roots after about 4 or 5 months.

And you don't actually need to wash your hair with shampoo and water. You can go to the beauty supply and get what's called dry shampoo

Yea you can get dreads with any hair type but anything above a 3a will be the easiest I have a 3c and mine are working for me
