Southern Pacific 9010 Reintroduction Celebration at Niles Canyon Railway [REUPLOAD] (2019)

This is a reupload of an old video of mine from 2019 when I dragged my grandparents and father all over the Niles Canyon to chase Southern Pacific # 9010, the only remaining Krauss-Maffei ML4000C'C' from their fleet of 21. The Niles Canyon Railway had snagged it some time ago, and have been working hard to get it back up and running ever since. On this day back in 2019, the tourist railway ran a Reintroduction Ceremonial event for the # 9010 and drove it through the canyon. As of when this video was filmed, the locomotive's dual 2000HP prime movers weren't fixed up or even in the locomotive, so it couldn't move itself under its own power. It was decided that they would use the locomotive's controls to communicate via MU with the railway's EMD GP9, SP # 5623, to push it back into the public eye and the view of our cameras. Yes, I agree, my camera work needed improvement back then.
