BACKGROUND STORY
We are steps2adventure, better known as Jordan & Annalise. We created the steps2adventure brand to inspire people to explore what the outdoors has to offer. Back in 2019 we always knew we wanted to travel, we were planning backpacking trips, train journeys.. you name it. Thankfully we came across the van life UA-camrs! As soon as we saw this way of life we knew this was it, this is how we want to live and travel. So, we bought a van… Not just any van, she’s a 2007 LWB Mercedes sprinter van, an absolute beast!! We have spent over 2 years converting her in-between work and some little adventures across the UK.

Always makes me smile. People moan and grown about the amount of motorhomes down in Spain and Portugal, but you’re one of them so don’t moan about it. Just enjoy it
We really enjoyed it, no doubt about it. We only moaned because people ruin it for others, staying weeks on end in one place, leaving rubbish, emptying toilet in the bushes etc.
From a frustrated traveler who needs a regular reminder fix, just want to say -well done! very good video format. Very few people get it right.

That park up you found at the end seemed really good, and much less crowded. We've had big crowds here in January too, trying to find a quiet park up is not easy! Great video guys!

In one of your drone shots I counted over 100 vans, I’m thinking that’s quite a lot! Some day I hope to tour Europe myself in a van or car with caravan. I’m quite lucky to have dual citizenship of an EU country and the U.K. that will take the 90 day pressure off a little bit. I’m sure you will find your peace and quiet as you keep traveling as well as refreshing swims to keep cool! Take care y’all.
Hello You Three - greetings from my village - a very cold and snowy Nowe Slupno in Poland. Minus 6 with 15cms of snow on 15th January.
The sunshine/weather looks lovely but the number of vans would certainly put me off going to the coast in Spain

Hmmm we’re just about to make a decision …. buying an RV to travel thru Spain & Italy for 1 / 2 months or go by car and do B&B’s .
Hi you don't really see many campervans tbh it's mainly mororhomes the police are very kind and forgiving over there but unfortunately there are many German motorhomes sat in one location for months at a time in spain its 72 hours and not setting up camp spain is amazing for vanlife I would highly recommend it

Hi Guys, we are on the south coast of Spain at the moment. We have also said we will never come back, too many motorhomes everywhere and to be honest not that impressed at all there are so many places far far nicer in our opinion. We are visiting Gibraltar at the moment then over to Tarifa area then into Portugal so hopefully things will improve.

Made me laugh. We were there NYE. Flagging too. Parked up on the harbour. Missed fireworks on the beach as thought was on the marina 🤦♀️😂😂

If you need park up in the country l have land in Aragon off the beaten track, stay as long as you like, you will not be bothered.

Great video. Feel like people use park ups as campsites down there. The facilities just aren't on site for a long stay are they!
No mate it's maximum 72 hours but the police seem to have gotten fed up of people pooing in the bushes and emptying there chemical toilets there too so now they seem to give you 24 hours or your fined crazy really but people should respect the place

It's the same in the uk. I can never understand people who choose to spend their holidays on a council estate on wheels.
The big problem with the uk is there is next to no parkups so everyone goes to one area they need to add more parkups so that people are spread out more but no one respects it
The CLs in the UK are absolutely amazing
Loving lily in a bag! I have a bichon the same size as lily and he is 14 this month so doesn’t like long walks anymore, is she heavy to carry? Xx
Awww Bichons are the best 🥰 she’s not too bad to be honest, she only goes in it on public transport or if it’s busy and I don’t want people standing on her toes. It helps that we can wheel her around aswell when she gets too heavy 😂 x

Hey we paid £172 for 2x adults 1x dog and the van 🚐 only the 90 days this time but will be back out for longer later on in the year x
Love the vids, but you must realise that ALL travellers are part of the problem! Make the best of what you are able to do, not many people can.
I agree and disagree haha! It's becoming way too popular and we are all the problem in everyone else's eyes. But as part of the 'van life' community, it's a certain type of people that are ruining it for everyone.. Parking up for weeks in the same place, treating places like a campsite, emptying their toilets in the bush, turning up in huge coaches. We can see why the locals get so annoyed, it got to the point where we actually felt embarrassed to be part of it. If everyone moved on every few days this wouldn't be a problem. We absolutely love travelling in our van and make the most of it, were lucky to be able to do it! It's just important to highlight the downside as well as always showing the good :) x
