Thank you for this review - very helpful!
Thank you for your updated review of the Baby Lock Jubilant. It really helped me to hear about your experiences with it and your impressions of it. Thank you!
I appreciate you watching my video and thank you for the reminder!
I just bought one and it’s on backorder. And I love to sew and binge watch shows
Thank you so much for your honest review! I’ve been trying to find a machine for myself (upgrade from my old Kenmore from a decade ago). I’ve been oscillating and struggling between several products in all different price ranges... then I zeroed in on Baby Lock genuine collection. Your review and enthusiasm have been a great help to make a decision for myself, thanks again!
aprotista I am so happy that I could help you!!! I also went down that rabbit hole trying to figure out what was best for me and my ability within a good price range. Happy sewing!!!
Just received this same guy!!!! Its a dream!!! Thanks for video
Donna D Thank you for watching!!! I agree that it is a wonderful machine!
Heh. I just watched this whole review thinking I was looking at the Brilliant... So I guess everything you said about this applies to the Brilliant, plus some.
Hi can you change the needle position?
I’m pretty sure you can. I think I remember seeing that in a how-to video for the Jubilant.
Do you think this is a good machine for a beginner?
Barbara Negrao I think this machine will be awesome for a beginner and a mid grade seamstress. It just means that you will not have to get a nicer machine when your skills enhance. :) I wish I had this as a beginner. Thanks for watching!
Have you had any issues with the automatic needle threader? I had narrowed my focus down to the Janome Sewist 725s. But like every other lower mid grade machine under $1000, they are the new unicorn. lol When I was finally able to get into the sew and vac store, she gave me a list of machines to look at and the Jubilant was on the list and the BrotherPS500. I currently have a very loud and chirpy Singer 1120, very base level. (it was a well intention-ed gift) Not worth the $$ to be serviced unfortunately, which I knew, they helped me oil it properly and it still chirps like nothing I've ever heard. It's always given me issues and the stitches have always been inconsistent. I'd rather upgrade to a machine that might transition me beyond advanced beginner. Now I just wait for this to get back in stock and wear earbuds when I sew until then. lol Your review was very helpful.
Andrea R. Thank you so much for your kind words! Researching models online is like going down a rabbit hole. As long as you have the needle in the upright position (just press the button) it threads EVERY time! I was so shocked since my last machine would do that 1 out of 5 times and I am not a patient person. I will only buy Baby Locks after having a low grade Brother and going to this machine. When I was shopping at other stores I realized how many parts were cheap or made of plastic on the inside. Mine is mostly metal and you can feel the power difference immediately. For what I do, I don’t think I will need an upgraded machine to be honest. I sew a lot, sell online, and I sell in person at cons. It does everything I need it to do and more. I am a cheap person and I don’t normally buy anything for myself. I would buy another one of these machines without a second thought. Thanks for watching my video. ;)
@@moorenerdy479 So good to hear! I almost got the Brother! But the Jubilant came into stock first! I am so excited because they finally got in stock yesterday online and I was able to grab one! I still have to wait for it to ship but I officially got one! I can't wait to SEW ALL THE THINGS! Thanks again!
Andrea R. That is awesome!!! Let me know what you think!!!
@@moorenerdy479 The Jubilant is AMAZING! I know there are fancier machines out there. But the Jubilant matches my advanced beginner skills perfectly with room to grow. I am absolutely in awe of how smooth and quiet and easy it was to get up and sewing. Absolutely ZERO hassle. I could kick myself for not upgrading sooner. All the profanity uttered from my mouth using my old machine. lol Profanity no more! (well at least not the machines fault) lol I was able to finish up my friend's masks (she's a teacher and wanted to get ahead of the game and be prepared for whatever the fall handed out) I made over 50 masks for her (she had sent me fabric) and having hobbled through half of them on the old machine, I whipped out the remaining batch so easily and beautifully. I nearly cried. lol Pretty sure the hub is tired of me telling it how much I love it. lol
Andrea R. This makes my heart so happy that you found a machine that you love so much!! It is very hard to find sewing machines that fit our level. It literally made my day!! Thank you so much for following up and letting me know your review as well.
My jubilant stopped working after 4 months. Error code bought a new foot pedal as suggested still didn’t work. It’s junk
I am so sorry to hear that! That sounds super frustrating!
The volume is at max on my computer and can barely hear you. TY
Thank you for letting me know. I may try a microphone.
Hey I’m thinking about buying this machine would u recommend this for denim or heavier materials?
natalia mendoza What a great question! The insides are mostly metal and the machine is made to easily tackle items like that. I would get an industrial machine if you would only sew heavy items like that and see a lot though. Thank you for watching!
