Distribution of wealth doesn't mean compulsory acquisition of properties from the rich and distributing them to the poor, as happened in Russia and China. Redistribution of wealth can be through policy changes in income tax, including dividend tax and through rationalisation of GST, such as exempting essential food items from GST. The possibilities of policy changes in direct and indirect taxes are infinite and I don't think wealth and inheritance taxes will be brought back as they were a major failure when introduced earlier.

This congress politician in reality is a ' wolf in sheep's clothings '. As FM in UPA govt he had said that a person, living in rural india, who spends not less than Rs 26 per day on his food and non-food items does not qualify to be called poor. Today he is shedding crocodile tears because his party needs the invaluable votes of the poor. But people today are aware of the importance of their votes, they will never cast it in favour of the congress.
Dr. Chidambaram and other educated leaders should highlight with statisics that Growth has been high during coalition governments. Possibly adding logical reasons why that is so. Basically, build a convincing narrative ....
The congress party doesn’t actually intend to do any redistribution, they just want a certain sections to believe they will and vote for them. That’s why they are hiding behind the ambiguities by half stating it in Manifesto and the rest verbally. If they really are so worried about the poor being left out they would have said the redistribution will be done based on economic status irrespective of caste and religion but they clearly mentioned it will be done based on caste and religion because all they want is certain castes and religion folks to foolishly believe they might be the beneficiaries and vote for them.
Anyone with basic common sense will know that they won’t be able to do any such thing and this is not how you solve inequality. Even if we distribute the current wealth equally among all the citizens we will eventually end up being in a more or less similar scenario in the future just because all people are not equal in terms of their education, intelligence levels, spending habits and many such common things.
The Congress has never been out of power this long and think they are entitled to be power. In its desperation they are trying to create a class war. Mr Rahul Gandhi is no pappu he is sinster, evil and vicious. Forget being in government, the currrent Congress doesn’t deserve to be in opposition as well.

The same thing is more true for BJP-RSS because in the last 10yrs they have actually proved that they are not interested in development and upliftment for all Indians except for the 1% ultra rich who are capable of donating crores to their party. BJP has no talent and has copied every scheme from Congress and renamed them(but when they were in opposition they used to blame Congress for the very same schemes stating that they are making the poor lazy). The only areas where BJP did some good were roads and renewable energy but otherwise BJP did massive blunders like demonetisation, Galwan, and monumental corruption through electoral bonds and PM Fasal Bhima Yojana (that helped private insurance companies pocket crores while many farmers who paid premiums did not get their claims settled). Overall BJP shamelessly used money and power to create a climate of fear that weakened our Country's parliamentary and democratic processes and independent bodies like ECI, and destroyed a vibrant educational environment. No govt, not even Indira Gandhi's emergency destroyed and weakened India to this level.

During the tenure of Atal Bihari Vajpayee's government, a famous company, Enron, planned to set up a factory in Dabhol, Maharashtra. However, due to the resistance from local people, it couldn't happen. Consequently, disgruntled with the changing circumstances, Enron filed a lawsuit against the Indian government for a compensation of ₹38,000 crores. Vajpayee's government appointed Harish Salve (who had won the Kulbhushan Jadhav case in the International Court of Justice) as the counsel for the Indian government. But you'll be shocked to know that P. Chidambaram became Enron's counsel.
Later, the 'UPA' government was formed. Cabinet Minister Chidambaram couldn't fight the case for Enron, he continued to be a legal advisor and was capable of advocating for Enron's side in the case. Chidambaram immediately removed Harish Salve from the Enron case and Khawar Qureshi was appointed in place of Harish Salve, the same Pakistani lawyer who fought the case for the Pakistani government in the Kulbhushan Jadhav case. Congress paid ₹1400 crores to the Pakistani lawyer as his fee on behalf of the Indian government. Ultimately, India lost the case and had to pay a hefty compensation of ₹38,000 crores. The mainstream media either ignored or didn't highlight this news.
The companies that invested in Enron and filed the project had invested only $300 million which, at that time's exchange rate, was merely ₹1530 crores, and that too without even setting up a power plant. Congress is more destructive than our imagination. This was the government of 'world-renowned' economists, etc

Manmohan speach was made in 2006 and he was PM for 8 years after that and during this period no Mangla Sutra was taken and given to Muslims. Why is Modi referring to a speech made 18 years back? Can we then justify today that RSS will change the constitution if the BJP gets 400+ seats?

Chidambaram talk about inequality is a joke. Never as a finance Minister Mr Chidambaram think about poor. People in trade unions know about the attitude of Mr Chidambaram towards government employees and labourers while taking up wage revision issues. Also why the congress prince did not talk about this during their ten year tenure. Most scams came out during that rule. Rajiv Gandhi was opposed to the reservation. Also the upa government totally rejected the Swaminathan committee report on agriculture reforms and MSP recommendations. Congress is double speak on these issues since the congress first family is desperate and dejected since out of power. They could not digest any body heading the govt since they have the attitude of born to rule. That is why congress never allowed non congress govts with outside support to complete its full term and withdrew support in between.

Just because some % population are minority, they automatically get a right on other people's wealth or nation's resources? No other criteria required? This is exactly the problem. Congress didn't move from the position of what Manmohan Singh spoke in 2006. This party is extremely dangerous to India and could damage this country far more than what British did.
