- Took a much needed solo trip to the Ozarks. Sometimes it's nice to not have to cater to anyone or be on anyone else's schedule. While I planned on this being a super peaceful trip, I ALMOST COMPLETELY LOST MY TRUCK in a deep and fast moving water crossing. Anyway, hope you guys enjoy. Thid is a different style than my normal videos. No fancy editing, no music, all raw sound. Sometimes less is more.

Thanks Grant for a great video! Many viewers don't understand how difficult it is to make a good video if you don't have a second cameraman. Constantly run around with the camera, if the shot did not turn out to go again, look for beautiful views and shooting angles ... In short, bravo maestro!

This is how all videos should be unless it’s a round the world one, when descriptions are useful. No music, able to hear the natural sounds of birds and water, along with the various noises made by the vehicle. Only then does it seem like the viewer is vicariously travelling with you. 👍🏻🙏🦘

I see so many beautiful river crossings and camp sites in your videos. I would have to have a fishing pole with me on those trips. Have you ever thought of doing a catch and cook while your out there?

Looked fun! I love the raw footage, that is one of my favorite parts about these vids is hearing the engine rumble and the sounds of rocks crushing under tires and the wilderness. Brings back memories of trail riding when I was a kid.
Sucks to hear about the creek giving you trouble, glad you are alright though, that crap can turn nasty quick, no doubt.
This area look familiar as well, alot of them streams in the ozarks, boston and ouachita mountains do though I guess.
I wonder if the fishing would have been any good. Me and my friend used to walk Natural dam and catch hundreds of bass of all types and bream all day. Most were small but on ultralight tackle it was a blast!

That's an awesome solo trip, assuming you are single, enjoy those before you start having kids. I too try to do solo but my two daughters won't let me go alone! You have a good style of video presentation. Keep travelling and share those with us. That river was fast flowing and that's a sign not to cross especially when alone. Check under the padded carpets for any water intrusion.
Quite the opposite actually haha. Married with a 7 month old. Wife and son went out of town for the weekend so took advantage. I checked when I got home and found some water in the front floor boards. Airing them out still ha. Live and learn!
