Same here, I happened up on it in 2012 while I was in Taiwan , looking for movies to watch on UA-cam (with English subs) and somehow it showed up in my feed. I didn't even really know who Jay Chou or Gwei Lun Mei were at that time but it instantly became a top favorite movie for me. Soundtrack totally made it better and then knowing that Jay Chou composed several pieces for it , including to sing a song for the soundtrack, solidified him as a top artist for me as well.
