This palette is the essence of Autumn, imo. Nomad eyeshadows are beautiful. I love their color stories & how they apply. Iceland is my favorite. I pulled out "Haunted Europe" last week. I have Fall vibe eyeshadow palettes & my pumpkin spice coffee (iced because it's still 90 degrees in Arizona). I'm officially ready for Fall. 🍁🍁🍁
Your second look is just such a candy apple red dream. 🤩 I actually was really excited for the mix of mats to shimmers in this palette. But I have a ton of shimmers that I am happy to pull into a look if I need it. I'm much more likely to go looking for a special shimmer outside of a palette than another matte.
It's a pretty palette and I almost bought it but the warm side looks like the Melt Cosmetics Amor y Mariposas palette. Love that palette. Don't think I'd use the neutral/cooler side enough to make purchasing this palette worth it
I absolutely LOVE Autumn back in New Jersey and New York! Spent my first 43 years of life living exclusively in NYC area, with many a day trip to Bear Mountain State Park, Delaware Water Gap, etc. This embodies that perfectly! But. I too wish that they done at least 2 more shimmery metallics in a morning frost silvery tone, perhaps with a pale gold flip or a bluish flip? And I so would have loved it if the red matte had been a killer metallic red like UD Gash! As for my favorite Nomad palette? That would be that one from last month, the Costa Rican Rain Forest one, Bosque Nuboso de Monteverde!
This is probably the first Nomad palette that I'm considering buying. I'm not super into Red, but I'm loving all of the other shades! When they were dropping hints on Instagram, I was really hoping/thinking that it was the Adirondack Park in NY....guess I was kind of close? Lol
I am 100% not a fall color girl. I can dig the occasional orange with plums like sunset colors, but it's not a color story I gravitate to. Seriously got married the day before Thanksgiving and served a full turkey spread for food, but my wedding colors were purple, teal, turquoise and some pink. I'm happy it's good for everyone who likes those colors. I kinda want the cloud forest. I don't own a palette from them. I have a few singles from them that I don't really use because they are glued into the package so I can't put them with my other singles.

Thanks so much for this, and for doing the two looks, I appreciate seeing the grungier shades in action. I feel like the packaging grabs me by the gut and makes me want it fiercely, but all those grungier mattes to the right of the 3 shimmers I find incredibly unappealing. I think you're right, if some were shimmers, I might've been ok, but as they are they just make me think of death and decay (which, ok fair, 'tis the season, but not what the packaging is selling, IMO). Also, I live in the lower Hudson Valley and have been up and down state and I can't say those grungy shades are a great reflection--again, IMO.

I am a New Yorker and it is beautiful. But I feel the same I wish they're were 1 or 2 more shimmers. But I'm thinking of getting this bc then I can use my Whislter Snow Lodge to pair other shimmers I would want to use with the mattes in this palette. Beautiful looks!!
My favorite palette from Nomad is for sure The Haunted Europe Palette? I love that palette and thought about getting another one during the 25% off sale but I managed to talk some sense into myself before I did? 😂 I am not sure about this one, I absolutely love everything about it but knowing the releases that are coming up, I may need to wait? I love that it is matte heavy. Also love the color story. Definitely want this one. The one side reminds me of a more vivid version of the Tuscany palette, which is my first ever Nomad palette and still a favorite in my collection (and since it is on sale I suspect Tuscany is getting discontinued soon 😪)
I totally agree about the shimmers! I think that’s the one thing holding me back from purchasing. I adore the color story but I just prefer more oomph via shimmer shades. 🍂 love your videos and how in-depth you discuss pros/cons!❤

I’ve never tried nomad. The shadows look like Juvia’s place which are highly pigmented but not my favorite still. Nomad is also made in China. I tend to like Anastasia shadows and too faced tin. This palette is calling me strongly though. I have soooooo many palettes though. Instagram has an extra 20%off.
Where did you get those earrings? 🥰 I went to Oktoberfest for the first time this year. It was wonderful. Beer battered onion rings and chocolate hazelnuts mmmm.
