This is what we call a grandparent and or Step Parent trap. A product designed to deceive the usually well intentioned gift giver into giving a child a really shit gift.
I used to work at a retail store that sold these. A mother once returned it due to her child being disappointed that it was a puzzle and not a plush.
our local toy shop literally had to mark these as "THESE ARE PUZZLES AND NOT TOYS" just so people didnt buy them by accident. THEY KNOW WHAT THEY WERE DOING.
It's weird that they would do that, considering it would lower their sales...
