I encourage everyone to do what works for them! every product doesn't work for everyone. some people are allergic to certain ingredients they may not be aware of.
You do not need to use the rosemary oil from Mielle specifically in order to grow your hair. Just buy an organic rosemary essential oil and put some drops in a organic cold pressed carrier oil like castor/almond/grapeseed and you are good to go! At least you have control on the ingredients.
They might not have changed the ingredients but did they change the concentrations of those ingredients as well? The ingredients can be the same but the amount of each one could change the effects! Wouldn’t be surprised if P&G lowered the concentration of the good stuff and upped the concentration of cheaper ingredients to save money
Someone actually corrected me to say Monique said she didn't change the formula. She actually didn't mention the ingredients within that formula so some people are saying the quality of the ingredients went down I guess
Exactly. They tweak the formulas to fit "everybody" and that is mission impossible. What we need for our hair to be happy is not the same thing others need to keep their hair happy. They never think to create 2 separate lines.
My hair started falling out a lot and I couldn’t tell why it was happening. I use the oil before I shampoo. I’m going to try not using it and see if it makes a difference. The weird part is that when I started using this years ago this same oil is what helped my hair not fall out.
A lot of things are internal. If you can, get some bloodwork done to check for ANA, hormone levels-thyroid etc..., CBC/iron- for anemia. Unfortunately so many things can cause hair loss and it can't be fixed with topical treatments
I've been using mielle since i switched from cantu 4 years ago, i noticed a year ago my hair started to change and i thought it was rhe styles, fast forward to all this...im theowing all of it out, iys all ive used and my hair isnt the same anymore
I only use the oil and the scalp scrub and they work great for me. With the one caveat I don’t use a lot of product so they last a long time I haven’t purchased new bottles in a lil min 💁🏽♀️

I'm not gonna lie I was actually really shocked by the mass outrage. The filing is just a filing right now which to my knowledge means nothing is proven. I also didn't realize so many people were experiencing negative side effects.
It’s not about the fact that it’s only in one product it’s their integrity as a whole. If they didn’t disclose the information about this ingredient in this shampoo whos to say they aren’t doing that with other product lines? This action highlights their integrity as a brand and what they would be ok doing with ANY product and that’s why people are boycotting the company as a whole !
There’s another UA-camr named Mayowa’s World that speaks on this, and there are people that know the founder in the comments speaking on unscrupulous behavior and business practices (one involving school children), and instances of lack of bedside manner involving customers and their reviews online. I also remember when the products came out a lot of people were speaking on how it left a tingling feeling, and then believing that it meant the product was working, but I also feel that initial tingling they raved about could have been their scalps/skin becoming irritated from the products, and eventually causing excessive hair shedding and hair fall over time. I think people can mistake tingling for “it’s working!” When it can be the scalp telling you “I don’t like this at all” some people also said the products were strong and contained essential oils, which can be irritating unless diluted (even though they are supposedly diluted in the formula). It’s a shame so many women may have to start their hair journey over again. This reminds me of the DevaCurl situation all over again
I was loving the brand and the products but I noticed I was getting horrible headaches after using certain products and my hair was shedding, badly. I have stopped using the products and my head and hair thanked me for it. The oil only worked for me about a year and it stopped working. I am not saying do not use it, I am saying it stopped working for me.
My hair started shedding a lot as well. I just thought I was in a shedding phase. I had to pay over $100 dollar for a hair treatment. Now that these videos have come out, I know Mielle products are the culprit. I'm going to stop using it to determine if the shedding stops.
I tried these products 2 years ago and am still suffering the consequences. It clogged the pores on my forehead horribly and it took me 1.5 years to clear it up and I still get breakouts because my pores got enlarged. Prior to this I never had acne, not one pimple! This product ruined my skin
When one of the biggest white creators posts your product on her top products list, sales shoot up. when sales go up, it piques the interest of large CPG companies like Proctor and Gamble. When CPG gets involved, the priority becomes keeping the cost down thus allowing ingredients/formulas to change. I hope this helps bring it full circle for you!
I’m so glad I don’t hop on fads and what’s popular at the time. She probably didn’t change anything it was just a matter of time before ppl hair started to fall out. I was told oil does not go on the scalp but hey carry on... ☕️
Let me guess now you’re seriously thinking about getting your money back if you can or trashing it. I have the rosemary oil I bought in 2020 and early last year. I’m not too sure about using it for very obvious reasons!!
So I can say that one of my favorite products is the rosemary mint and there was a before and after. Actually just used it a couple of days ago and thought I was tripping or maybe our water quality changed. It went from moisturizing when I first started using it to over a year ago I believe to now drying my hair out. Now it could be something else so I don’t want to make any accusations and at the same time I can no longer use this product as a stand alone moisturizer. What I noticed was that it still applies easily. However my hair started what I believe is known as “webbing” so I had to follow up with another brand of moisturizer so I could comb through. Hope it’s just a coincidence but I think I’ll play it safe cuz I definitely thought it might brake my hair off if I left it as a stand alone. Hope this helps.
I had some stock of the rosemary oil from 2022 that ended few months ago when I bought the new one I noticed that the smell is different the packaging was less quality well the packaging didn’t matter as much I noticed that the oil is different and for four months of using the new oil my hair started shedding again so in my opinion the oil changed and it’s not effective anymore
All of that is viable. Could be they lowered the percentage. Maybe the production, or where they are getting their products. Etc but who know. Just buy your own and make your own
@@aslivedbybriaI ordered the Miele Oil from Amazon in July of this year and developed a severe swelling in the back of my neck. I used one of their masks, it was okay I’ll give it a 5/10. The oil gave me a lot of dandruff though 😭. So I’m good without mielle. Love me some camille rose but last time I went to boots (uk wall greens) they changed the formula. Camille better behave 😢

If the whites buy it, the whites change it, the whites become the new market and the quality of the product declines.
