Hi Ed. As a grandfather of my first grandson of 18 months, I found this to be very uplifting and inspirational. Now with the lock down, I made him some toys and oddly enough, also made some of my favorite foods which he also loved. Only problem now is, he won't eat his food. He only wants to eat with grandpa. There are still plenty of blessings all around us. We just need to notice them. Only best wishes from South Africa 🇿🇦
Granpa doesn't get bored He's always making something All with his hands no power tools It takes some time but it keeps him busy All the time . Great old man.
A very talented man with basic hand made tools. What a pleasure to watch. His grandchildren are very fortunate and will always love their Grandpa very much.
@@johnshilling2221 why wouldn't I show up? oh yes, for fear of being kidnapped like the Chinese kidnapped two Canadians 2 years ago, the "Two Michaels" ....hmmm that would certainly stop me from attending such an event. You have a great day, John and keep sipping that Kool Aid!
Have to leave another comment. My grandson is 18 months old now, and is like a magnet by my side. How privileged we are to be able to pass on the skills and experience that we accumulated over the years. I felt so at home watching this. When my family wants something build or baked, I'm the go to guy. This was so uplifting and beautiful to watch. With love from South Africa 🇿🇦

Modern manufacturing: Take a few pieces of wood. Mark a circle and glue them together. Cut the wood and throw on a handle and be done with it. This is pure artisan mastery.
