I don't believe so. The urethane problem had been ongoing for a while. And it wasn't all the urethane balls, just some that were not crafted correctly. Having it at 78 hardness will make it soften to normal 73-75 specs after it's thrown a few times.
@@XenoGuru I understand the change but this tournament with its format of having 2 entirely different oil patterns to test bowlers skill to adjust and most of them just used urethane and played almost the same line on both lanes. Right after that they announced that they would be requiring a higher hardness level on urethane bowling balls.
What would be nice and much more challenging is to switch pairs of lanes everything you move up in the stepladders, for instance, 1st match pairs 1&2, 2nd match, pairs 3&4, and so forth
You're going with the U.S. Open golf mentality. Hey, we have the best in the world here, let's make it impossible for them to do well. Let's make the golf course unplayably tough. What you're proposing is to make it even harder for these bowlers to read the lanes and to calculate the transition. Everyone will struggle, and barely average 200. That's not what I'm tuning in for. I can see guys bowling 210 games in my own scrub league on any night. To me the enjoyment is watching how terrifically these world class bowlers can adjust to the lane conditions and make perfect shots. Just wash all the lanes down with 60 feet of canola oil, and we can probably make them all average 170. Is that what you are hoping to see? I sure don't.
@Ironfangzu no, I'm saying is it makes fight that much more for the number 1 seed, the pattern would be the same each pair, but you don't get to have that blueprint of the lanes before you get to the championship round, you'll be working on a fresh pair of lanes each round, just a little more fatigue starting at the bottom, just a little something different
They should get rid of the stepladder altogether and make it a real bracket tournament. The last seed playing the first seed while fatigued doesn't make any sense. Everyone should go into the end with the same number of games
the pin on that 2 hander ball is at least 8 inches above the fingers and the center of gravity is 2 inches above the fingers. That ball should be illegal due to finger weight
You use what equipment gives you the best look at the pocket. If you want to complain about something, complain about the patterns. I bowl in a sports league. Every pattern is 2:1 or 1:1 ratios. Most times, reactive gets lost in the oil and gives unpleasant results. You have two choices: Heavily sanded reactive or urethane. And heavily sanded reactive will screw up a pattern faster than urethane will.
Hi everyone! It would be greatly appreciated if you would consider supporting my channel here! www.buymeacoffee.com/bowlingplanet
I will support 😊
Respect to Prather for being so humble. Congrats to Troup.
Kyle's a great guy! Had the pleasure of bowling with him in Louisville a few weeks ago. Grand Rapids is proud of you brother!
Yep, bowl right next to him!
And i was thinking where is Troup the last few months. Welcome Back!
*Damn I didn't know Marv from Home Alone was such a talented Bowler!*
Tackett missing that 10 pin changed everything
I’ve been playing five pin for 25 years but I’ve never tried tenpin. I think I’m gonna give it a shot this year.
The ending showed why bowling is the sport with the most respect 43:43
thank you alot for this pba events
Great telecast 👏🏾
hell of an ending. made me smile
Sound works Thanks for sharing this 👊👍
It was nice to meet you Sunday morning
Это было красиво и эпично! 👍
I like Kyle Troup's clothing designs. Camouflage and The Partridge Family are my favorites.
Storm's Pitch Black bowling ball so popular :) great game !
Looked like no love lost between Belmo and Prather in that match. Lots of tension.
I hope Scott the Engineer is watching this 🎳
Kyle was definitely on his game with the urethane ball, maybe its the new doo !!
Me encanta lo bien que asimilan la derrota.
Cool seeing different sports one of the reasons i like my scattered brain 😂
Troup was unstoppable in head to head.
Except for 1 missed 10 pin by E.J.
👍🥰 BELMONTE 300 breaks ANOTHER bowling RECORD.v👍🥰❤️🙏❌
Headline: Belmonte Shoots 300 and LOSES!
41:17 Kyle says to himself, "take your time," just like he did not do in the Open.
CBS has a pretty sick intro, gotta say
Nice video
I wonder if this tournament was the deciding factor on why the PBA is changing the urethane hardness rule

How do I learn bowling?
Watch "Kingpin".
Switched to grips, and BAM!!!

Wait when we’re the previous matches played??
The 2 days before this
When i saw tbat 7 10 i gasped.

awasome
I got a 213 with a bowling alley bowling ball is that good
I am disappointed, I love getting to see tie break rounds.
Why wasn't Kimberly Presser there. They definitely needed her behind the mic, not Randy
Getting bored in Stats class brings you to pretty strange places.
Still not used to seeing Kyle with short hair
I think he put his wig in the dryer, and it shrunk!
I always wonder? Is it stress to hold that camera on your shoulder?
W
Shark using urethane? I’ve seen it all now
Prather throwing the ball too straight
troup vs belmo was better haha troup ggz
Is someone saying false start
Wait I’m confused? What is this?
KRIS is the MOST UNPROFESSIONAL bowler on tour.
Rash
@@weaverfn5661 Simonsen in at a close 2nd
What the hell is Kyle wearing 🤦🏽♂️
Love it!! But sometimes these bowlers take too long to shoot…..
There's a shot clock. They get fined if they take too long.
2 hander hack
268、266
Kyle Troup is cool. He's not a dick like some of those guys
trump 2024
Trump 2024
2 handed Trump style? 😂😂😂😂
TRUMP 2024
You know that trump cannot bowl with 2 hands, huh? 😂😂😂😂😂
I'm glad Troop beat him! He's such a poor sport! The way he acted with Belmo! I hate the way they act sometime s!
2 handers are unbeatable
@nell7869 And Prather did have to go through Simonsen, Hanrahan, and Belmonte to make this show. That's saying something.
If you throw it with two hands you should only get half the pins.
Lol
Two handers would still win😂
jealous
I bet you use bumpers
What???
More Stupid Urethane
Sean Rash, that you?
@@jjplum3265 People at my center throw the U on house shots. They can't adjust either like these Pros.
@@jamesmatheson4746 you can literally see them adjusting here. Compare Prather's line on the left lane vs the right
