Guys, Guru is a perfectionist hence his sounding disappointed with the wheel clean - the wheels looked amazingly good - trust me , it’s my wife’s evoque! Cracking job - thank you Guru 🙏 😎
Exactly, this is real life detailing. And 99% of general car owners would say "wow, it's like new again!" Yes, it could have had a 3-stage buff'n'polish to be perfect - but it's clearly used every day, so realistically, why(?!) Congrats on your clean car! 😊 Guru, you did a great job! 😉
Not yet, still need to get a few pre sale bits done. Going to put it on eBay with a reserve so everyone can get a shot but I’m open to offers in the meantime.
I just have to say, thank you. A cleaning video with informative tools in the most amazing accent (I’m from the US) and calming tone. Makes me feel like I’m watching one of those animal planet documentaries but now it’s about something I like So awesome!!!
damn sight better for the planet than this chemical fest, cleaning inside of a wheel ffs. next vid will be a cat back exhaust inside detailing no doubt
Honestly I appreciate the videos where the difference you make doesn't bring the car to perfection, as it illustrates the reasonable limits we as consumers should expect from a detail. Plus, it makes me feel better about my shortcomings as a cash strapped hobbyist 😉
This is the first video I have seen from Car Cleaning Guru and after 3 minutes I knew I was going to like this guy and his content. Subbed and I plan on watching many more!
This video more or less reflects what the average home detailer experiences and also goes to show that it doesnt always work out the way you think i will. Great job, nonetheless.
Count Olaf yes because this could be done in the most realistic manner, or otherwise for the 10% of non realistic manner pro-detailers woukd go too far grinding the wheels and putting clear coat later on which is simply worthless for something which has to face mud, dust and road trash only!
Always love your videos.... I did this to my own large car last week and was so tired.... couldn't imagine filming it so very appreciated! Also in Australia we have a product called CT-18 Truck wash which is sort of like a cross between soap and degreaser. Spray on at night, then hose off next morning. Works great on filthy 4x4's, wheel wells and bugs.
Not usually going all out on a daily driver. I usually wash the wheel wells frequently and the barrels of the wheels, without taking them off, just get in there with a wheel woolie or something to keep it somewhat clean so it never turns into a 6hr job. Great video, thanks for sharing.
Just watched several of the Guru’s videos whilst on a 3 hour train journey ... there is something strangely mesmerising about the content and the narration! ... and this is from someone who has no interest whatsoever in cleaning my own car car or anybody else’s oddly! ... well done to you, I shall look forward to watching further videos of yours very soon!
thanks for the product guides, always good to know what's best to use. I used to have a 535i and the TRX alloys were time consuming to keep clean, used to just do one per weekend to kill the monotony. Keep up the good work, always get a thumbs up from me.
All efforts are truly appreciated. Surprising how stubborn baked on brake dust can be. They turned out as well as could be short of an actual reconditioning.
I really appreciate & envy your ability to be rational & realistic re: the wheels. I am a neurotic perfectionist and I'd be crazy gutted I couldn't make them absolutely new perfect. You are a treasure. Wonderful video as always.
Hey Guru, it's been a while since I last saw any content from you! Good to see you in front of the camera, and loving your fantastic presentation style and delivery, as ever. Any work you do, even the jobs that don't go to plan, are well worth seeing. Keep it up dude.
I used to be a professional car Valet myself, one of my regular customers was an old boy with an old rover, nothing special but he loved it, it always cleaned up beautifully apart from one wheel that was completely ingrained with brake dust as a result of a seized caliper and no-one cleaning the car before me, the customer knew it wouldn't come off as he had tried himself in the past, the very last time i cleaned his car i bought some 600 and 12000 grit wet and dry sand paper, a can of wheel paint and a can of clear coat, as a surprise, I rubbed the wheel down and re-sprayed it for him, it came out perfect, and for the first time in many years his entire car was clean, he was ecstatic! even more so when i told him i'd done it for free as he'd been one of my best customers over the years.
I had to remove a shit tonne of brake dust off my van wheels prior to ceramic coating, must have spent a few hours on each wheel, scrubbing with a clay bar
Quality video our mate and love the narrations mate keep us entertained while watching a long video about cleaning wheels. Can you make a video on rust mate ? How to repair rust and how to protect against rust in the UK..
I don't think repairing rust is a detailer's job especially when the rust is beyond superficial… You will have to remove the rusted steel (as it will be significantly weaker than good steel) and put in body filler or new steel. To protect against rusting you really just have to make sure there are no paint chips anywhere (which exposes the metal) and protect the paint? Even superficial rust is beyond a detailer's job description I believe, because rusting usually occurs where paint is damaged (and it will in turn damage more paint). You'll have to sand down the rust and repaint the area.
@@HelloHi-tt5sl Depends on what part. It is normal for some parts (eg brakes rotors and suspension) to have some superficial rust, but if the rust has gotten inside the metal you need to have someone fix that for safety. Either way, it's still not a detailer's job.
Like many go your videos I've watched, I've given in to the soothing sounds and sights only to nod off and wake up at the end and watch the video over again. Your vids are peaceful and relaxing even though I know you put a ton of work in to each job.
I appreciated this video to watch and help me relax. I understand the effort and don’t blame you, when it comes to an average car, good enough is wonderful! I will never forget in college broadcasting being etched into my mind, it’s better than good, it’s done!!
YOU ARE AN AMAZING DETAILER !!!! THANK YOU FOR THIS VIDEO , you make me go and take my RRS 2011 wheels and do the same. once it comes back from the shop i will follow your method ! cheers mate
Love the content. Never apologise for being busy or not shooting jobs. I'll take whatever you give and say thank you!. Thank you!!!
Emmett for real. We”ll literally watch anything you post because it’s all good stuff
Most of us have full-time jobs, we understand. Even us enthousiast who come to watch this understand.

@David Farley 911 was on loan to make a video, its on my channel
I detailed my WRX last weekend and heard Guru’s voice in my head the whole time... I can’t be the only one, right??
Thats a great sign that your cleaning sesh has been blessed by the Guru himself haha.
Nope!
Same here my friend
I live across the street from a car wash and cringe every day .
Lol I do exactly that. I love his incredibly elongated sentences and descriptive sentences, he should write books too!
One of those days.
I got the feeling it wasnt HIS wifes
Do you ever worry about repeat exposure to the cleaning chemicals and the contaminants youre cleaning off?
Car Cleaning Guru love your videos!!! Sending some warm texas love your way and if your a dad happy fathers day!!!
Is your car still for sale? If so how much do you want for it?
Not yet, still need to get a few pre sale bits done. Going to put it on eBay with a reserve so everyone can get a shot but I’m open to offers in the meantime.
17:11 “Hey, CCG, me next!” - Porsche
Even if I don't understand everything with your strong accent I just like to listening to the narration it's so calming

Thank you for persevering, much appreciated.
My neighbours think I'm mad enough already. Hoovering the rear arches would definitely mean a visit from the men in white coats!!
😂😂😂😂😂😂
Dude, I watch all your vids. Always like your content.
These videos combined with your narration are so relaxing and satisfying. Love it
Was meant to wash my car today, but I'll just watch you wash yours instead.
Good one!
damn sight better for the planet than this chemical fest, cleaning inside of a wheel ffs. next vid will be a cat back exhaust inside detailing no doubt
I find immensely satisfying the sound of the brush and soap agitating the dirt
Just realized watching all this hard work puts my mind at ease. Possibly this is one of reasons why "Guru" apears in the channel name...
Honestly I appreciate the videos where the difference you make doesn't bring the car to perfection, as it illustrates the reasonable limits we as consumers should expect from a detail.
Plus, it makes me feel better about my shortcomings as a cash strapped hobbyist 😉
The quality of your narration is amazing.
Always love the content mate! No matter how short or long, always a cracking watch. Keep it up dude!
I'm not sure which I enjoy more in your videos... the superlative level of automotive cleansing or lessons in linguistical genius. Hats off
That was a tough gig, great job as always. Nice to see the forensic detailing channel singing your praises recently.
You’re a true professional and a gentleman. Keep up the great work and videos.
Guru, always love your stuff! Can't wait for the next vid.
This is the first video I have seen from Car Cleaning Guru and after 3 minutes I knew I was going to like this guy and his content. Subbed and I plan on watching many more!

Had to pause at: "AFTER CRACKING THE NUTS..." good lord man 😂 😂😂
And jacking it up
Freaking the neighbours out by vaccuming the carpeted rears hahahahah
Always good to watch your videos, thankyou for sharing your knowledge.

Did we get a glimpse of your new motor there in the background guru?ha
Life would be easier if the manufacturer finished the inside of the wheels properly
Very entertaining as always - straight up informative content , we thank you

I rather like the Rebel Blue Volvo but I am excited to see what it's being replaced with.
Long time no see.. Car cleaning guru 🚗😜
You are the type of guy who would clean new wheels. Love it!

I woukdent be botherd about the back of the wheel you never look at it anyway but it cures my ocd knowing its clean
The right side of the Evoque looks amazing

The black on the inside of the wheels gave me anxiety
Me too lol
Yeah, it was poor washing, inaccurate
He should use tooth brush for cleaning of that..
Wheel acid and a pressure washer would have saved you from all that beautiful time hahahahahaha. But good job and thank you for the watch 💪🏾💪🏾
Exactly just a bunch of wasted corny ass products lol any kind of strong degreaser, or will acid what it do

I've literally done this today on my scirocco! Very satisfying to see the results, love the videos guru!😁👍
Your accent makes everything you say way more interesting.
Enjoy the sun mate, I prefer my days to be over 30c but no luck here at the moment being winter.
@WalkOn Bye I hear you mate, and I am looking forward to it =)
Thanks for the video, always get good quality useable tips from you 🇮🇪
Real world serious cleaning of a wheel that’s been on a daily car for years ... great stuff
I will give you an amazing tip!
*Please don't push the brake while driving! That makes lot's of dust on your rims.*
Devils juice is a godsend, it removes all brake dust and I’ll stand by my word on that! 😂
It ideal for this type of job. Not used on all jobs but perfect on this.

I do 🙌🙌🙌🙌
1st video I've seen of yours. Like the way you were honest in the outcome. Subscribed.

most wholesome content on UA-cam hands down
Damn man, you need to voice over some audio books!
Lol
Don't give him any ideas for fuck sake lol
It would hurt me to drive after having it so cleeaann!
But it drives happier when clean mate :)
Keep the videos coming, mate! Love them!😎
Love a bit of wheels off action. Nice one.
Great video as usual - do you ever do paintwork correction on single-stage paintwork? Would love to see you turn a pink car back to a deep red!
Random question, but would putting one of those brushes into the chuck of a drill and using it be a bad idea?
Yes
Nice one pal. Great clean of those stubborn barrels and wheel arch liners. Like the subtle humour too.👍
Still my favourite detailing channel !! Keep It Up
I'm here for the accent....Oh and the suds!
The owner obviously test drove new bypasses. Anyone see a new bypass?
What accent is that?
Those old rims look a bit naff, probably not deserving of all that effort. But well cleaned as always.
I appreciated this video to watch and help me relax. I understand the effort and don’t blame you, when it comes to an average car, good enough is wonderful! I will never forget in college broadcasting being etched into my mind, it’s better than good, it’s done!!
Great perseverance. Well done mate. Hopefully the YT community provides ongoing encouragement to keep going!
Not sure if I tripped onto a fetish but it's so relaxing to see shit get cleaned. Especially if they're really dirty.
Great video but meanwhile all the fish have died in the Mersey through intoxication of chemicals 😂
Look on the bright side there's no weeds in his driveway.
YOU ARE AN AMAZING DETAILER !!!! THANK YOU FOR THIS VIDEO , you make me go and take my RRS 2011 wheels and do the same. once it comes back from the shop i will follow your method ! cheers mate
Very impressive results. Enjoying watching your videos, I have certainly learned some useful tips.
That's what I was doing with my wife's red evoque this morning ..
Did the Porsche pull over in the background to ask for a clean?
No to take me for a spin!
What was the one on the drive. Looked tasty that.
Great video, love your videos. Thanks for uploading ♥️
Thank you for the video
Mate that is so much work but it’s so good to watch your perfection amazing
