- It is time again: The Champion Medals for the Spring 2024 campaign were released and I tried to beat them all again!
What are Champion Medals?
Champion Medals are integrated into the game via a custom Openplanet plugin and are supposed to be an extra challenge for all players that are easily able to get all regular author medals in the campaign.
The are calculated one week after the maps were released with a secret formula that makes use of the records at that time.

Talking about plugins. There are at least a few that I would really want to have ingame because I play on console and can't have them.
For example speed splits, copium timer, grinding stats etc.

Well roughly at least, the exact details are apparently a bit different and unknown I just learned
All I know is they are calculated based on a couple of factors such as top times, the spread of this times etc.
I’m having a lot of trouble figuring out the name of the German kid in the video. He introduces himself as about 69 different things. Seems like he’s saying “hello guys my name is Nadeo” the most often, so I’m thinking it’s Nadeo. Anyone know?

Honestly, I would watch this video if the quality wasn't as bad. Can you not tweak your encoding/compression settings to make it less bit-starved?
I know it was a joking reference to Wirtual, but still really not a great joke to make about it being a "racist stream" and saying "we are all racists here." I guarantee there are actual racists watching your stream and getting so happy about jokes like that. Is that really the viewership you want to appeal to? Not to mention people who experience racism every day and who might see it as a dog whistle or suddenly find this space a whole lot more hostile.
I'm sure there are people who will think I'm overreacting, but still is that really a risk you want to take, of aligning yourself, even unintentionally, with racists? Especially given the notable rise of white supremacism in Europe at the moment... I think Germans in particular should be aware of how important it should be to completely disavow that kind of hate, even in their humour.
What? Why should actual racists start following me or find me appealing cause of a reference to a Trackmania meme that is not even from me within a 7h ultra specific video? xd
Humour is subjective I guess but I really don't see a problem with this one since it was extremely clear to all viewers at that time what was meant with that, the Wirtual clip literally has millions of views on multiple platforms
@@GranaDyTV If you look at your chat after you made that reference, you can see a few chatters saying the joke is unironically based and that Wirtual was right for it. Idk how many of them were really joking but imo it doesn't look good. You can find many similar comments on Wirtual's video of people basically going like, "This, but unironically lol."
I think it's worth wondering whether jokes like these might alienate some viewers, especially if they do personally experience racism and don't see it as a joke. If it makes people like that uncomfortable it just doesn't seem worth it to me.
I will also say that Wirtual has specifically said he does not like that a lot of people know him for that clip. I think it was used for his streamy awards bio at some point. I guess part of the reason why he might not like it and why it might make others uncomfortable is because actual racists do make very similar jokes as dog-whistles (coded signifiers of their racist views meant to maintain plausible deniability while getting attention and support from other racists).
Anyway, I'm not trying to call either you or Wirtual out. I think these are just things that many people don't consider the potential consequences of. I do, because it's part of what I study. Maybe I'm overly careful because of that.
@@JoshNpublicgplus All the points you make are perfectly valid and reasonable but at the same time, you definitely noticed that because you study this matter. The average joe, racist or not will not perceive such comment as an invitation to hatred. Its torture to always be 100% aware off all possible interpretation of your words and allienates the ability to be spontaneous. So, having one off joke, in a 7 hour stream is imo a very good "score".
Actually, I just checked the comments on Wirtual's vid again and one of them literally says: "This is a clever dog whistle to us righties."
Idk, if someone commented that on any of my content, I'd be pretty disturbed. You can't control your audience entirely, but you can definitely avoid some risks.
