I’ve seen a few people share this sentiment, I’m not sure what’s wrong with it right now but these issues usually get ironed out with a new version or bug fix from the devs!
hi, i took the same version you showed, and i am able to launch among us, but when its loading, it says it didnt launch from my epic games id, but for this to work, you have to launch it from the map right?
The best way I know of to do this is to make a copy of your Among Us folder before installing any mods and then using one of the folders as your modded among us and the other as normal Among Us. I would rename the shortcuts to match the folder they're in 👍
Hmmm, I’d be curious to see if everything looks good in the folder cause I haven’t heard anyone else mention a epic token error message. If you can’t figure it out, feel free to join the discord and dm with some screenshots of the folder and maybe the error screen 🙏
@@lauramartin1156 Hey! I was able to talk to someone having this issue in my Discord and I found out they had basically extracted the folder itself into the Among Us folder. What you need to do is extract the contents of the folder into the Among Us folder. Basically, you'll need to go into your Among Us folder where you have 'TheOtherRoles' folder, and you need to move everything out of 'TheOtherRoles' folder and leave it all in the Among Us folder itself. After that's done, the mod should work fine 👍
I tried to make a lobby and let my friends join but I did nothing and it says that they were kicked, within a second i got kicked as well? so its not wowrking, what's going on? :(
@@Lowgenn yea I tried both normal and modded servers, it says if I make a normal lobby it won’t be showing up on the list. And if I make a modded lobby; my friends won’t be able to join because it’s modded, not normal lobby. :((
@@xArtyx I think I understand what’s wrong. If everyone has the mod installed, all you have to do is choose North America or whatever region you all play on normally and you should all be able to connect to a private lobby with the code like normal. So two things to check, does everyone have it installed, and is everyone on the same Region (NA/EU)?
Basically just make sure you’ve removed the files we added, or uninstall among us and reinstall (should only take a minute since the game is so small by itself)

Sadly this did not work it just says unable to get Epic account ID and it makes me close the game.

Make sure your epic games account is logged in! I think that’s what someone said helped when this happened. Lemme know!

I can't open the game after I've followed the instructions. It tries to open and then automatically closes again. Any idea why?
It might be the version of the mod that’s the issue, maybe try one of the older versions and see if the same happens?

Did you make sure to select your server in the bottom right? Your friends will need to do it too 🙏
