John Hicks records are among my favorite in my music library 💗😅
Me, too!
On my first ever New York visit I by accident ran into the live recording of a concert at Riverside Park (Rhythm-A-Ning) . Kenny Barron and John Hicks with Walter Booker and Jimmy Cobb. Great memories of world class musicians.
I have that CD on my desk at this very moment!

It's good to remember (fondly) a fine pianist who was such a stalwart of the New York jazz scene during his life.
