The fact I believe Giyuu would've been more happier as a demon. I mean, he'd miss Tanjiro, Nezuko and Urokodaki would've killed himself, but still, seems like he'd be a lot more happier as a demon.
I don’t think living as a literal slave and toy to a man who doesn’t give a shit about you isn’t gonna make someone happier, at least as a human and hashira he isn’t under constant supervision and won’t get killed by simply saying someone’s name

The curse may be only attached to his last name but would you want to live as a slave and toy to a man who gives 0 fucks about you and can kill you if he wants any given day if you don’t do one thing he orders right? I wouldn’t call that happiness
