How to: Trim-to-Tune Firestik Antenna

Changed out my old K30 Antenna for a magnetic base that allows you to screw in any antenna. It ended up burning out my old Uniden but I plan on fixing it in the future. Didn't see too many videos about actually trimming these antennas so I figured I might as well film what I did.

This is a great video. Thanks for all the explanation and showing how much was trimmed in total. I wondered how these firestiks antennas were tuned. Now I know. Thanks again.
