For having a baritone speaking voice you sure bring the sparkly angels to the choir, Joe! And as always, fantastic information. S1 continues to be the best DAW I've ever used. Thank you!
Remember doing a combined sound design and composition piece for a video game. Electronic stuff requires a lot of tracks so I think I ended up with 3 separate song files after I bounced everything out - it's definitely over 200 tracks in total and simplified down to about 96. Studio One definitely allows for that all-in one experience. It lets you separate workflows really nicely
Joe Thanks for this ! I am Deep Diving folder tracks All Drums working on making Templates by Manufacturer from BFD3, IKMM Modo Drums, XLN and EZDrummer3. I am following the 5 MIX Manual as Guidance . . . .It has taken me 5 years to get to this point & do not think of giving up. To much blood in the Game now.....
Is there a shortcut key command for the Action at 4:50 ???? - Folder Tracks don't work with regular "Create Bus Channle for selected Track", as it does not recognize as a "Regular" Track
@@presonusHEy Joe! actually it doesn't exist for Folders :((( I searched and asked the Tech team as well, they confirmed that the Key Command for "making bus for Folder Track" is missing and not available in the Shortcuts menu. :((( already asked as a Feature Request in the Forum tho.
Hey Joe thank you for your videos in Presonus Studio One that i love so much! Can you help me how can i save an FX Chain for my guitar effects but WITH the SENDS not only the INSERTS in order to have my Verb,Delay etc in ONE FX Chain?Thank you again!
FX Chains can only store insert slots. You would need to store the insert FX Chains separately and group them an a folder. Or you save them as a song and import them via Song Data Import using the browser...
@@studioonetutorials I see!It would be more easy to store it as an FX Chain and put it like the Ampire FXs ready presets.Anyway thank you again for your videos especially for making orchestral music.I would like to have a template for orchestral music.I have bought from your site and the macro tools you have made.Thank you again!
never get rid of this man, he is incredibly organized
And ..... a great tune/hook!!

Great video. New to S1 so this was really helpful!
It took me a few minutes to find that pesky setting for "link expansion and visibility of folder tracks", but once I did, it's an awesome tip! :P
Really helpful, thank you. 😎

You can make one by going to the Keyboard Shortcuts menu. Assign it to whatever keystroke you want. - Joe Gilder

Dang. I want to hear the whole song. :) Beautiful voice and harmony.
Creating a macro shortcut which make for us folder already linked to bus is better option.

? What if I were to export my track files to another engineer for mixing, like BGVs or Drums. Could I export the folders alone as group tracks
Great tutorial. Do you have a YT channel of your own music for us to listen to?
No but my music is on all the streaming service. - Joe Gilder
