Isn't this the team that blew a ton of big leads and only won a bunch of games by 1 score? Up 23-6 here, won by 3 in OT Up 37-14 against the Packers, won by 8 They had a game against the Saints where they gave up 38 points Up 35-7 against the Giants, won by 3 after giving up 28 straight points Up 31-0 against Seahawks, won by 7 Great defense? LOL not a chance. This team could have lost 5-6 more games because that defense could barely hold a lead half the time.
Carl Mack that team finished sixth in defence that year. I will admit they had bad second halfs sometimes, but they were great enough to help that team to the Superbowl. Just look at how they shut down Arizona in the NFC championship game. That's all the proof you need.
@@Cmackie311 its kinda like the rams defense. They get a big lead and then slow their pace down, except when they dont get the lead they just get mauled.
Panthers win that game 8 of 10 times, the bad call on the cotchery no catch led to a Denver TD, panthers had at minimum 6 drops for the game. Cotchery dropped a ball at the 2 where they ended up missing a fg (after a blown non call after an offsides), and Ginn dropped a ball inside the 20 that turned into an INT
This was such a great game and I was thrilled just to see it in person. The very first NFL game that I when to. Man, I remember the freezing down pouring rain and getting home at 4 am. So many memories. Too bad they couldn't win the SB that year but they did have the greatest season overall in team history.
This game is a mini version of cam’s whole career taking hits, a bunch of direct runs, a terrible makeshift o- line filled with free agents and i drafted guys and we are surprised he has been injured? Defenses want his head for some reason too. Hope he just heals up, and takes as much time as he needs.
@Willie Prescott III that's the perfect way to put it I bet someone will say why play the race card smh lol when they know. NFL don't want him to start again at qb but he will.
@37 minutes into the game my thought was Indy just needs everyone to pull it together for a series: as in, refuse to be blocked, bury your man you’re covering just focus on getting it done. Too often there’s a glimpse of greatness from an individual. People forget how mental this game can be. I realize it’s easier said than done but so often the underdog manages it. Must make coaches crazy to know a team’s potential and not quite reach it. A game of inches. Probably what makes football a great sport. Why rugby fans or soccer fans react the way they do. Calling football players wussies and then doing a 180 when watching hardest hits. And that’s when the realization sets in. “So that’s why they wear pads”. No holding back. Cheers, Bill
Wait I want to know if this is the game where Pat McAfee said to himself, it's time for me to retire. Just saw a video recently of him talking about cam and how he made him retire 😂😂
I don't know. But after that game I read in the Denver post that Denver was the better team. And it also said the AFC was the better conference that year. So we would have lost to the patriots
@@Letha46 I doubt the Patriot defense could've handled Panthers offense the way the Broncos did. I could see Cam putting up a better fight against the patriots but the game would've been closer and most likely a high scoring game.

Back when Cam Newton was MVP and Josh Norman was considered to be one of the top 3 corners in football. How the times have changed
Yeah as a Panthers fan tell me about it oh how far they've fallen from grace since then
Especially now... David Tepper destroyed the culture we built in Carolina
I miss these Carolina Panthers

The panther defense was legendary that year thieves ave!
I wonder who would win if they were ever paired against each other: the 2015 Panthers vs. the 2019 Ravens.

it’a 2022 and i still be coming back to watch the panthers games
This was a great game. I came home late, but it was worth to watch! The bar went crazy after watching the winning FG!
Who thinks the Panthers should have won super bowl 50
Nobody because they choked 😂
Couldn't beat the refs
D B can't beat the refs. They rigged that game so that Peyton Manning could retire a champion.

The biggest season in Panthers history
2:18:33 I'll never forget how excited Tricio got. I miss his announcing. Dude was so good
D B I'm sure he'll take over for Al Michael's when he decides to retire.
He did
Got to give it to Gruden. He was spot on about the hits Cam was absorbing. They definitely hurt us in the long run sadly
I'll never forget this game, had my heart pumpin' like crazy, but the Panthers pulled out the win (fuckin' Ginn Jr, smh...) #KeepPounding
My second NFL game at BOA... nice memories, greetings from Costa Rica keep pounding
2:45:12 Ted Ginn was so frustrating to watch
Came here because Olsen was on McAfee and they talked about this game. I genuinely forgot about the years when the Panthers were the fucking Panthers!
This Panthers team was loaded. Props to Indy for keeping it close despite not having the best roster
This was the best team going into the Super Bowl other than the unbeaten Patriots that lost the Superbowl
Thanks for the upload Bart, do u happen to have 2014 Steelers @ Jets? The last time the Steelers played the Jets in New York.

Could you do this matchup from this past season? I was at the game this past November and missed out on the full coverage by Kevin Harlan.
The Colts never gave Andrew luck an offensive line

There’s a playlist on UA-cam of bad weather NFL games. I wonder why this game isn’t on it.

What a great game to watch from a neutral fan's perspective!
And Colts Cheifs Wildcard round I forgot what year it was
It was in the 2013 NFL season
This has to be the worst loss of that season!
Wish we had better looking helmets, just a little tweak
