  • How touchy are mature bucks when you get close to their bedding areas? And what can you do to tip the scales in your favor once you locate his bed?
In this episode, Tom and Steve are joined by Dan Infalt of Hunting Beast Gear. Dan's buck bed tactics and public land hunting style are legendary. Dan shares when and how he scouts for mature bucks, hunts them and then ultimately kills them. He breaks down the factors that have allowed him to harvest numerous trophy class whitetails, and shares the story of how he sealed the deal on a Boone & Crockett buck holed up in the middle of a cattail marsh.

I could listen to Dan all day. I've stepped my game up so much in the last 5 years following his techniques.

I bought them videos. They are very informative! I watched "Hill country bucks" on repeat for months. I also bought the dad's for a couple friends and my brother. I also bought a long sleeve shirt with "scout. Scout. Hunt." Printed on it. I was wearing that shirt when my picture was taken with a 181" double drop time buck that was published on the front page of a magazine.

I have 50yrs now in the river bottom.A recurve and one arrow, basically two sticks and a string.I become the one I'm pursuing, sometimes I see them at 10 or less 4 maybe 5 times before I shoot, I'll throw a log at them or yell at them they seem to keep coming back I'm even hunting the hardest public land in lower Michigan

I have learned so much from listening to this man but what I still don't understand and I never will understand is why hes letting all this information and this pile of gold just flow through the Internet and social media because what's gonna happen is it's going to ruin the woods for all the real hunters with toxic duschbags with deep pockets and zero respect for others
