Now that sounds like some climb and certainly lots to do/see there low and high. The ferry sounds a good idea and your own car but that weather sounds a bit on the iffy side, cheers Alan
Yes, you really need to pick your timing when coming to Newfoundland. It worked for us well enough. It's a constant learning experience, so we are always making slight adjustments to our next trip after what we learned on our last.
Climbing to the top - that sure would be one amazing hike! Always appreciate the care and excellence you put into each video, Josh! Your hard work is definitely evident!
Thanks Randy! Next video we are finally moving on from the park to a new place! We loved each and every one of the 9 days we spent here. It's an amazing park with a TON of great hikes.
It is some beautiful and remote territory!! We still have it on our list of destinations we want to visit. Thanks for sharing such an informative video!! Safe travels and hope you have a great summer of hiking. John and Bev
Yes, that is so true! A very beautiful place that needs to be explored more. I think you will love it once you get here - hopefully the borders will open soon! (my prediction is the end of September).
Great share, I too am a traveller, but I love your style of informative videos, new friend here, stay connected and more importantly stay blessed and safe, your new fellow traveller #travellermia 🙏🇬🇧👍
Thank you! I try and put as much info as I can. As much as these are for my personal memory and experience, I like knowing that if someone watches them, they'll (hopefully) get something out of them too.
The weather can be quite unpredictable there. We had days that were hot and sunny and others that we wore a light coat. It's a shame that you couldn't explore it the way you wanted. It is indeed a wonder park with lots to see!
This was a great overview of Gros Morne National Park. We would love to see where the earth's mantle pushed through the crust in person. That is such a cool feature. But everything looks so beautiful in your videos of the park. Thanks for sharing tips on how to get there and what to expect!
This is easily one of the best parks we have been to so far. So many good trails. I have never come across a place where there are so many good ones in one spot! This park is highly underrated!
Oh man. That first half intro was so good. You should include that type of background and history info in all your videos and then go to your vlog format. The name sure does fit but I’ll pass on that 8 hour hike up it. So beautiful and picture perfect for sure. If we went the Ferry would be a cool alternative. Have a great weekend.
Yes, I also liked how this one turned out! I am really enjoying finding all the history that goes along with these places. It really helps put this place into perspective! Thanks for the advice! I'll keep that in mind going forward!
Very well put together video. Informative, and good captures from the park. Do people go over there on holiday during the winter? I think looks too cold for me then but yeah sounds a good move going in the summer months! All the best
I would say very few people would come here on holidays unless they are seeing family. Based on personal experience, the weather in Newfoundland is known to be some of the worst in the country - and they have some of the longest lasting winters. We picked the best time of the year and still needed coats on occasion, lol
very nice share, beautiful and helpful video
Thank you! I hope it does help someone who is interested in visiting this park!
So huge park nice sharing new friend here
There is so much to see and do in this park. It really is a hikers paradise.
Looks fabulous!
This was an amazing park! I think every hike was more beautiful than the last!

Thank you! This part is absolutely stunning - and we really loved our time in the park!
Great overview of this gorgeous National Park Josh!
Thank you! This is the last one from the park, and then I swear you'll see something new :p

Gros Morne is a really stunning park. So many good hiking trails - each offering views that are better than each other.

I would absolutely love to visit Gros Morne! The image you’ve shown in this video makes it even more appealing😊
It really is one of the most beautiful parks we have been to so far. There are so many great hikes in one spot - it's hard to imagine honestly.
I’m a huge National Park nerd. This is my kind of place. Thanks for showing us around 😀
This park is amazing. I haven't been to many, but in the last few years I have gone to several, and now it's on my list to see as many as possible!
wow thats a beautiful national park :) those mountains are amazing! Thats a long hike but i like that its got lots of hiking options :)
There are a TON of really great trails within this park. Easily the best selection of trails in one spot I've ever been to.
Sadly, we only had 3 days and 2 were rainy. We made the best of it but definitely want to go back...
