King PELÉ was ambidextrous (kicked perfectly well with both legs) He had "doble salto" the ability to jump really high from wherever he was standing and stay suspended up in the air. He was only 5'8 and he could out jump guys standing 6'4 and he was lethal with his headers. You see here the skills and magic he possessed. Hes the only player who won 3 World Cups. All the goals and moves you see Messi and Cristiano do, Pelé had already made them 50 years back when there was no social media, nutrition and training technology was nothing compared to what we have today. The soccer balls they played with were like river rocks compared to what they play with today. I can only imagine what would it be like if PELÉ was young and playing these days...

Pelé got 1283 goals, the Ronaldo record was goals in officials games, back then that was a lot of friendly matches and local cups that wasnt "FIFA officials games".

I just looked it up, those 78% white that's just in the US, not worldwide. I couldn't find a study on worldwide ethnicity percentages, since there's hundreds of pro leagues and ~130'000 pro players around the world a study like that would be very expensive. But either way in the US football is a sport for the rich, that's why there's so many white players, in the rest of the world it's a sport for the poor, Brazil for example has 10'000 pro players and Mexico 9'000, while England (a much richer country) "only" has 5'000 pro players. So worldwide the percentage of white pro players is probably less than 35% but that's just a guess.

There's just too many clips to put into a single highlight video. Between passes, finishes, free kicks, dribble... the man could do anything on the pitch - even play as a keeper - and better than anyone else.
He was faster than everybody, smarter, had excellent vision, the absolute best dribbler, could dribble or finish with both feet, developed next level body feints - dribbling players even without the ball on his feet. Creative like no other, invented several moves and tricks that are only used by the most skilled players today. He would kick the ball into defender's legs to bounce it off back to him in order to throw them off. You just don't see anyone doing this, even today.
Just to put into perspective, the absolute legend, R9, is like a watered down version of Pelé, and this is not to reduce R9's greatness. Pelé is like the grandfather of brazillian football magic. He fathered the style of the biggest country of football and all the players we had before him. All the brazillian legends you'll ever hear about has a little something of Pelé. The King.
