  • In this video, a laminar airflow through a tube is modeled using COMSOL Multiphysics. Simulations have been carried out to determine the heat transfer coefficient from Nusselt-number-based correlation functions and numerical computations.

    Can you please help me in calculating avg nusselt no. In a 3d rectangular channel which is same as the one u have used just its rectangular? In which fluid is moving in turbulence and a constant flux is at base

    Hi, you calculated heat transfer coefficient for boundary 4 which is not a wall of flow or fluid?

      Boundary 1 is symmetryy, boundary 2 and 3 are inlet and outlet, respectively, while boundary 4 is wall, which is exposed to heat flux qw.
