Just picked up a white trd sport fully loaded for $49k and 4.9% interest rate yesterday. I was going to wait until prices dropped but my car died on me and I needed a ride. I think prices will be much lower in January if you can wait it out.

These car companies do a really good job at getting everyone excited about the new cars, and then not only underwhelm on quality and/or features (some upgrades, but also downgrades), they also also overpriced them on MSRP, and then kick you while you're down (or really kick themselves) by having markups on top of that, all while being in a HIGHER interest rate environment. I'm not sure how you can manage to have what I imagine is a smart group of people be so disconnected from reality on what people can afford. It's simple math, really.

Y’all think the v6 is better 😂 let me tell you the 4 cylinder turbo is way better! I have a 2024 off road and it hauls ass. I’ve had Tacoma my whole life (I’m from Hawaii 😂) so trust me when I say this new generation is legit. I agree price sucks, but the torque is badass. Especially in sport mode.

I was at local Toyota Dealership yesterday for PM, they had a Tacoma Limited in silver just like the one you showed. MRSP was $52k and with the tinted windows and ceramic coat crap and etc it was $55k. I'm in Memphis, geographically they are priced the same 🤔🤷♂️

Total cost of ownership has gone up due to up front pricing, interest rates, lower quality/more wearable components leading to more repairs at a higher cost, and then add in the higher insurance based on higher up front cost plus the higher cost to repair and frequency in doing so compared to just a few years back. Somebody needs to give, becuase consumers are tapped out, and you can only extract so much even from the dumb (especially the dumb?)

Blows me away how Toyota allocates vehicles. All my local dealers have essentially 0 Toyotas on their lots other then Tundras and its been that way for several years at this point. They have more off brand used vehicles, they are buying used vehicles off people as well as taking them in on trade. You cant even go in and test drive something before putting your name on a list for one. Yet these US dealers are overflowing with vehicles that are not selling.

You made the right choice. Royal Moore has the lifetime power train warranty. I'm planning on buying a Tacoma or Canyon Denali from them soon. It's the best way to go for these new turbo 4s.

I went there to look at a Canyon Denali before I purchased the one I currently own and talked to a guy that was there to pick up his 10 year old Sierra that just got a free engine replacement. Bought 2 Tacomas there in the past and they've offered the same deal as long as I've been buying vehicles. Either way, new trucks with turbo 4s or tans issues will benefit from a lifetime power train warranty which is why I want to buy another one soon before prices potentially skyrocket.
Not going to pay that much for a small truck. Toyota is finished with their stupid V4 and V6 engines designed and sky rocket prices. My V8 is older but will last longer than those disaster trucks.

You made the right choice. Royal Moore has the lifetime power train warranty. I'm planning on buying a Tacoma or Canyon Denali from them soon. It's the best way to go for these new turbo 4s.

Lifetime means one thing to most of us. I went there to look at a Canyon Denali before I purchased the one I currently own and talked to a guy that was there to pick up his 10 year old Sierra that just got a free engine replacement. Bought 2 Tacomas there in the past and they've offered the same deal as long as I've been buying vehicles. Either way, new trucks with turbo 4s or tans issues will benefit from a lifetime power train warranty which is why I want to buy another one soon before prices potentially skyrocket.

Not going to pay that much for a small truck. Toyota is finished with their stupid V4 and V6 engines designed and sky rocket prices. My V8 is older but will last longer than those disaster trucks.
