Here's a fun little fact for you The Main chick is a Dhampire. She's specifically called that by the fortune teller. By definition, a Dhampire is a hybrid of a human and a vampire (rarely born of a happy union between the two species). Dhampires would technically be considered STRONGER than a vampire; because they have all of the strengths of a vampire, with only one of the weaknesses. That weakness, being the thirst. Dhampires are supposed to be immune to the effects of silver/quicksilver, garlic, and sunlight; meanwhile they get the supernatural capabilities. So her having ANY of these vampire weaknesses despite being a creature that is described as being IMMUNE to almost any weakness of a vampire, is absolute stupidity.
Mona Teasley Darren Shan Saga is very similar to what this comment is describing, in the DSS though it's not immunity, it's partial or mostly immune, it also takes out ALOT of the current Vampire Mythos aswell... but aye, people are first made into "Half bloods" by a mentor taught about how to live and survive and generally assist the mentor, then they are fully blooded and that's really as far as you get to know throughout the saga, I haven't read the entirety of the prequel saga, but it's much more adult and is interesting if you're a history buff.

Albus Kane The "fun fact" thing was a joke. What I meant is that I THOUGHT they spent MOST of the money in the cast, with around 2-3% of the budget left for everything else. The reason behind this statement is because the budget was over $25 millions, yet it looks like it was made with just $100,000. This movie has famous actors a sthe film's stars. Its totally interesting. This guy was really drunk THE WHOLE TIME. Uwe Boll filmed this movie in romania. He couldnt "simply" throw this guy off his set. Then Uwe would had to cast another guy, fly him over and record everything. So he decided he stay in this Movie.
One of the biggest slaps to the fans of the series. The setting is wrong (the first game is set before and around World War II, hence Nazis; the second game is in modern times turned a vampire rendition of Fallout, none of them medieval fantasy). Boll makes Rayne out to be an insulting form of who she should be. Action is bad. Sex for no good reason (Rayne may be considered one of the sexiest characters in games, Boll, that still doesn't excuse it). And just for the plain fact that UWE BOLL directed it. It's so bad, even Laura Bailey, Rayne's original VA HATED this movie.

The reason behind this statement is because the budget was over $25 millions, yet it looks like it was made with just $100,000.

Meanwhile shallow power trip games about killing Nazis generally don't make for good movies but that was probably never a concern to the people who made the thing.
Its totally interesting. This guy was really drunk THE WHOLE TIME. Uwe Boll filmed this movie in romania. He couldnt "simply" throw this guy off his set. Then Uwe would had to cast another guy, fly him over and record everything. So he decided he stay in this Movie.

One of the biggest slaps to the fans of the series. The setting is wrong (the first game is set before and around World War II, hence Nazis; the second game is in modern times turned a vampire rendition of Fallout, none of them medieval fantasy). Boll makes Rayne out to be an insulting form of who she should be. Action is bad. Sex for no good reason (Rayne may be considered one of the sexiest characters in games, Boll, that still doesn't excuse it). And just for the plain fact that UWE BOLL directed it.
It's so bad, even Laura Bailey, Rayne's original VA HATED this movie.

Okay, story time. I was working at AMC when this movie came out. I didn't even know it was there, till I looked up what movies we had. Now at the time I didn't know who Uwe Boll was I just saw Bloodrayne, I like the series so hell why not. I got off work and made it to the last show of the night. Now because I worked there I got to see it for free, after watching that shit I felt like I should have been payed overtime. To top this shit cake with a nice shitty icing my dad had got me a gift a movie based on another game series I loved, House of the Dead. I was pissed, House of the Dead my ass it was a shack on a island and that's not counting all the other things wrong with it. How do you fuck that up... hell how do you fuck up any video game movie the lore is written for you. So, yeah 2 Uwe Boll movies in 1 shitty night. I'm lucky to still be alive.
