This Bible is arriving today for me from Christian Book. I almost didn't buy it b/c I couldn't find any reviews, but I've been wanting and waiting on a real NIV Premium Wide Margin for a while now (since the Cambridge has been out of stock forever). Glad to hear such positive things about it!
• Zondervan has really stepped up their goatskin game! • I like the equal space in both the gutter and the margin. • I also like that they went with the red letter; you don’t see that so often in premiums. But I would rather see a red letter text matched with a red under gold art gilt. • This classic, pristine blue under silver would go great with a navy cover and black-and-blue 2-color (not red letter) text. • I don’t like the way they did the Psalms; it looks so scattered and disorienting. • And Genesis 1 looks strange and wastes a lot of space. I’m happy you got this Bible. It looks incredible. I could see people spending their whole year in this one.
@@patshepherd1353 I think it’s perfect now that I’ve went back and look. I mean… Is there a such thing as “waisted space” in a bible that’s made to write in? I’d say a better perspective is… “More Space”
Have you had a chance to get your hands on a leathersoft edition? I'd love to get an NIV bible for study. I'm impatiently waiting for the NKJV sovereign wide-marging. Got a premiere goatskin single-column and I've never own such an incredible bible before. I wish I could buy them all like that.
I don’t think NASB has this particular layout from Zondervan yet. They do have journaling bibles. Lockman does have one that’s sold out right now. Here is the link… shop.lockman.org/products/nasb-2020-wide-margin-reference-bible
@@CaseyFleetMedia The only two I completely avoid is message and passion. I try not to get anymore NIV’s because I was stuck on it for years and I need to stretch my brain.
I could be wrong but it looks likes they took a text block file of the Thomspon Chain Updated layout... removed all the references and helps and left the text and footnotes entacted as packaged it as a wide margin. THIS IS NOT A COMPLAINT. Brilliant marketing Zondervan to get two products of stellar usability out with less cost.
@@CaseyFleetMedia I spoke with Zondervan. They confirmed that the NIV Wide-Margin is the text file from the New NIV Thompson Chain redesign with all the references and helps removed. I said it one and I'll say it again... brilliant marketing.
My Brother! That is a beautiful Bible!
It truly is!
I can’t like this video enough!
Thank you bro! That means a lot.

Drew I believe you will really love it!
Love Cambridge . I just ordered this Bible today for Grand daughter.
The excitement is REAL! Thanks for the review
You’re welcome!
Beautiful Bible! I was thinking about getting a NLT wide margin but seeing this one, I'm really in the valley of decision.
I know how that is!!! 😂

Man you bring up some amazing points! Thank you so much Scott for that input. You are always a blessing to so many!
I agree with you on Genesis and the Psalms, hopefully, they'll fix that in upcoming translations.

I hope they make a KJV in the same format, game changer, thank you for the review
It’s possible!
You are welcome
Looks awesome, bro! My big question is, have you written in it? Really curious about the bleed through on that paper.
I have not yet
Thank you so much for this review 😊. Does this Bible contain subheadings with the parallel passages in the Gospels? Thank you 😊
I don’t think it has the parallels at the headings

I do not have the leathersoft… However I have held one at Barnes and Noble. They are nice as well. They also come with 36 gsm paper
I wish they would make this in the nkjv
I think they do!

@@CaseyFleetMedia its very large and does not have the same wife margins on both sides
I need this layout and style but different translation. Maybe a NASB because I don’t have one. Do you have a recommendation?
What all translations do you like
