I thank God for you. This is my first time seeing a male come on youtube talking about their planner. So simple and straightforward I really want this planner
LOL thank you for the support. Yea I guess we’re not as vocal about planning…but I want to change that ! The exact planner I use is linked in the video description if you’re interested. 😊
Pro-tip: Just use a single sheet of A4, create a table, 8am to 6pm in 15 min increments, 3 columns, Time, Done, Scheduled. Put everything you regularly do, figure out your actual time and schedule. Tick it off as the day ticks by, adjust as necessary. I have another little 7 part table at the top, reminding me what days I work out, do laundry etc. Soon you'll have a realistic but controlled schedule, which will boost your productivity through the roof. Thank me later
@@Yconboy Actually I've improved on it, and it now has 4 columns. You can do this, just make a new Word doc, hit enter a couple of times so you have space above for other stuff, then create a table with 4 columns and 42 rows. 1st column is the time in 15 min increments, like 9.00, 9.15, 9.30 etc. 2nd column, enter things to schedule. For example my 1st entry is "Record weight, refill water jug". The 3rd column I leave blank, so I can fill it in, either with Word or by pen. For example between 10.45 to 11.15 I have 'Exercise' scheduled. In that 3rd column I put which exercise, such as "Arms and back" or "Legs and core" etc. The final. 4th column I make very narrow, and just use as tick boxes to tick off what I've done. If you can't follow your own schedule then you need to reassess it, or reassess your priorities, behavior or whatever. The important bit is to try to follow it, tweak and adjust, and remember "A to-do list without a schedule is evil." :)

I have so many planners, and I have never used them with steady potential. Your video is inspiring. I rip out an entire page if I make an error. You feel my pain. Love your aesthetic and work environment at home. Thank you and Blessings.
love seeing the scribbles and realistic look into planning! all the channels I watch show “perfect” planners and it’s subconsciously defeating.. this was such a refreshing video!
What I’ve done when starting a planner or even a journal, I go and I look at all the guys vids first, because basically they are just minimal and not crazy then I expand after
Love that i found this video! I am now thinking on to start writes a straightforward planning rather than a fancy one. I realized that this actually gives me more focus and productive at the same time rather than spend much time on making it look pretty and perfect which sometimes stressed me out haha. this is the video that i needed! thank you!
I love how simple this is. I think there's a lot to be said for seeing your goals in your own handwriting. I do appreciate digital tools but something about an old school planner that's really motivating.
Thank you for this very pragmatic and didactic video which puts things back into perspective. I don't know how many systems I used... beautiful (and expensive) planners with stickers, which I was done after one month if not less... Digital planner which didn't work either, I love handwriting and the smell of paper! Today, I use one simple big planner with left page for work and right page for personal. It has nothing special except enabling me to reach my goals. From an artistic standpoint, I enjoy bullet journaling which is a totally free space for drawing, journaling, painting, scribbling during a boring meeting... I don't know how many videos I saw with beautiful and perfect settings probably linked to a lot of money spent in stationary material... The simpler the better. Thank you for sharing. Your video was refreshing.

Nice planner, like the personal vs work breakout. I started using a different planner in 2016, it has been a game changer for my career and life in general.

Such a great video. I’m currently shopping for a 2024 planner and there are so many formats to choose from. I like the simplicity of this planner and the customizations you made to make it your own. Also great callout for prioritizing work and personal growth throughout the year 🙏🏾

you are incredible and also handsome, everything in the video is attracting the audience! give you big thumbs up from a little beginner newbie content creator~
My biggest problem with implementing this is not knowing how you prioritize your list, make time for it, and navigate through it throughout the day. I am also overwhelmed by what to do if I fall behind on work that was listed on Tuesday and it’s a Thursday now and new matters have come up. How do I reprioritize my list and then walk through it?
Here is At a Glance's site for their complete selection www.ataglance.com/ Here is the updated one I use. Please note it is a july-july planner. Not a standard Jan-Dec www.ataglance.com/p/planners-calendars/planners-appointment-books/academic-planners/elevation-2024-2025-weekly-monthly-planner-black-large-75959p0525/
Where do you see all these people with their unused daily planners? I mean, do you pop round to friends' houses and check in their home offices, or what?
LOL, that's exactly what I do! I just hang around the planner aisle in staples and stalk all who purchase from there....It gave me great insight and wisdom for this video ! 😆
It's a nice planner, but you forgot to mention that it's only good for July to July. Who starts their year in July? Why doesn't it start like normal planners? I almost made the mistake of buying it. Read the fine print.
Thanks for the feedback and comment. If you visit the At-a-Glance website, they actually do have this exact planner in a Jan-Dec(when not sold out) format as well as a July-July. As far as what a "normal" planner is....that really depends on the person and what they like. A lot of people start their year in July. I don't believe in arbitrarily starting my "year" in January just because society says so. Goals and schedules change...I like a mid year planner and also breaking down goals quarterly....but you have to find the one that works for you. Thanks for checking out the video!
An interesting perspective! Some of the most successful people in the world that I admire, continue to support the claim about writing down your goals and planning your week. That's a monthly and weekly planner combo. A daily planner would have 365 marked pages.
Thank you!
thanks for this
You're welcome!
Great channel for when I feel overwhelmed. +sub +like
Awesome, thank you!
Thanks, I needed this . As African, we don't do these 😅
You’re welcome! Glad you enjoyed it 😊
Simple and realistic. I love it.
Do you use another notebook for meeting notes, call notes, etc?
Thank you! Yes , I did use a separate notebook for call notes. I found that the old classic spiral worked best for me
What do you do with the planner once the year ends (besides buying a new one)?
I review the past year, take photos of some highlights, and then throw it in the recycle bin. Thanks for checking out the video!
you are incredible and also handsome, everything in the video is attracting the audience! give you big thumbs up from a little beginner newbie content creator~
Thank you for the kind words and compliment 😊. I appreciate your support !
This video really help me to make my own schedule

Well done. Great reminders.
Thank you !
"nothing is perfect. A daily planner is a perfect example of that."
🧐
What a perfect comment.......wait
My biggest problem with implementing this is not knowing how you prioritize your list, make time for it, and navigate through it throughout the day. I am also overwhelmed by what to do if I fall behind on work that was listed on Tuesday and it’s a Thursday now and new matters have come up. How do I reprioritize my list and then walk through it?
The paper in tha planner looks really flimsy. What is the GSM?
That's the video that I needed, enough laziness and wasting time
Glad you enjoyed it!
For those who tend to scratch out writing alot, a good idea is getting an eraseable pen.
Great tip, I use Frixion Point Knock, my favourite erasable pen. Helps me get started knowing it’s fixable if I may a mistake.
great video!
Thanks for checking it out!
Anybody happen to know exactly what planner this is?
I’ve been using Notion as a digital planner just to avoid having mistakes all over it 😂
LOL I hear ya...I use to do the same. I just prefer pen & paper and accept the fact I'm going to make a mistake now
@@frankiemolinelli true I can see why, if I only I wasn’t a perfectionist lol. Great channel btw keep going good stuff
Hi
The link to the agenda is not working. Could you update or give the exact ref.? Thanks...
Here is At a Glance's site for their complete selection www.ataglance.com/
Here is the updated one I use. Please note it is a july-july planner. Not a standard Jan-Dec

Parabéns pelo seu vídeo . Seria ótimo você habilitar as legendas em outros idiomas como o português :)
You're cute. Thanks for the video from Italy
Thank you for the compliment 😊. Glad you enjoyed the video!
Where do you see all these people with their unused daily planners? I mean, do you pop round to friends' houses and check in their home offices, or what?
PS I liked your approach really - not obsessing about perfection, and writing "work-life balance" into your planning. Good video.
LOL, that's exactly what I do! I just hang around the planner aisle in staples and stalk all who purchase from there....It gave me great insight and wisdom for this video ! 😆
Didn’t know singer of System of a Down was a productivity expert
❤
5:05 I suck at penmanship so I know how I that feels
Frankie where’s the price chopper video
Editing as we speak, have it schdeuled for this Friday 10/6!
Can’t wait!
Funny I needed to see a man using a planner cuz all the women with the stickers and colors just wasn’t working for me lol
"Pen and paper is better"
Snowflake generation you have to write down how you’ll live out your week. Ridiculous. Spend that time exercising!
An interesting perspective! Some of the most successful people in the world that I admire, continue to support the claim about writing down your goals and planning your week. This system has continued to help me achieve what's important in my life like exercise, professional tasks, meetings, life goals, family time, & rest. etc.. Thank you for sharing your thoughts however! All the best 😊
hilarious
This is exactly the planner re-set I needed. Thank you!
