It's not Mos Def. I can't remember the name of the sample but alot of people used it. I believe Rick Ross, Nip and Mob Deep also used the sample

This video is not Hollywood. It’s real begging to end. Absolutely wonderful Hip Hop! Lyrics are deep in places if you get the double entendres. Delivery is simplistic and precise as a laser. 9th Wonder production at it’s finest. You know when you hear it that it’s what Hip Hop is supposed to be. Respect to everyone involved and of course to the “Music Man” Master Ace.
Master ace is one of the very few emcees to evolve over his career but still kept it real..I’m 52 now and hope one day in the future he will be remembered in the hall of fame for his contribution to hip hop music…Love from Leeds England ✌️

Man! Let me say THANK YOU TO MR. CEE! for breaking this song on daytime radio during his afternoon show back when this released back in 2004. I was hurting and feeling down in the dumps, driving my car when DJ Mr CEE played this on that sunny summer day, I became so excited and happy. The next day I went out and purchased the CD, which I still have to this day. I remember buying "Take A Look Around" LP by Master Ace when I was 15yrs old and sitting in my room listening to my favorite songs on the album over and over.
The song and vid together makes me feel like I'm in the club, buzzing off the tequila, dancing like mad and watching this legend obliterate the stage with his intergalactic rhyme skills. D-o-p-e FOREVER!
