@@X75Productions best option is to record audio separately and use the camera mic as a backup. You could use a zoom or tascam recorder and plug the lavalier there or some recorders come with a mic adapter too. Cheaper option would be to connect the lavalier to your phone with an adapter and record it with a voice recording app.
@thenolashdemon so I used one of my previous phones to record the interviews. I know I can get the gimbal to work with the mic adaptor with the phone, I just didn't have the time to work on it. It was just me there, and I didn't have anyone else there to help me. I'll get it figured out for when I do cons again next year (not including Ranger Station this upcoming weekend as I'll be utilizing a different setup with my friends).

@thenolashdemon yea, my gimbal would not cooperate with the lavalier microphone attachment, so I'm looking on how to improve that at future shows.
