With most other Digimon, you see digivolution from rookie to champion form practically all the time, but with Gatomon, it's a once in a blue moon thing. A shame.
Gatomon's pose is hideous. It's a good thing she stays in this form as a default, I don't think I would be able to handle any more of that creepy face.
I want a full character development for Hikariiii~~~~ not as a plot device, not as another person's character development device, but her own T^T T^T T^T

Awesome sequence but (from an artist's perspective)the 3D model for Gatomon/Tailmon was a bit...."eh". The Japanese animators still have a ways to go yet in the 3D animating department.
Plotmon is off-model too. I guess they didn't have enough time 'till the deadline of the production. Anyway I would preferred all the champion digivolutions to be traditional animated.
So, can someone explain the language thing on the digivices for me? Supes nerd lore here, but i'm assuming the digivices are english language default, which is why the name shows up as Gatomon instead of Tailmon, same for it showing magnaangemon instead of holyangemon. but then why does it still say AlturKabuterimon instead of MegaKabuterimon. Was it a translation error? Altur obvs doesn't mean mega...so what does it mean?

Russian: эволюция (evolyutsiya) Greek: εξέλιξη (exélixi) Chinese: 进化 (pinyin: jìnhuà) Japanese: 進化|シンカ (rōmaji: shinka) Probably the producers just wanted to show the names (for the digimon) only in English and Japanese. Example: テイルモン (rōmaji: Teirumon) [Japanese] Gatomon [English]
I hope we never see this hideous sequence again. This is why i can't stand the tri evolutions it just looks so lifeless honestly appmon has way better evolution sequences and pretty good cgi. Btw cant wait to see dantemon in appmon.
