a very disappointing loss for Kostadinova at that time! She had jump over 2,01 many times in 1987-88 seasons and she failed just at the Olympics games! And for Ritter was her only important win in a modest career
In track and field, the Olympics are really all the matters if you are an American. It is basically a nothing sport except every four years.
