Ameen for us all. Its very difficult in these times being single. Sexual temptations are all around us, in TV, on the road... pretty much everywhere. One can avoid it but that doesn't make the burden any less. It's like fasting forever. What is a fast? Not eating food or engaging in sex. You are eating Masha Allah but not having marriage is like you have to go through that not having sex part of fast forever.

Yes, thank you for noticing the struggle of people affected with this addiction as I am one of them. I’ve been struggling with it for a year now and alhamdulillah I’m getting better at controlling myself.
Back then, I couldn’t go a week without thinking about that disgusting thing. Deep down I know it’s a horrible act to commit but somehow I still do it. Now, it’s getting better and thanks to these videos.
Nevertheless, to say just throw away your devices will make the addiction somewhat worse in the long term. As soon as they get their hands back on said devices, the relapse will kick in and that is extremely hard to get out of. What people need to do to help the affected ones is to support and monitor them so they aren’t left alone. Rewarding them is also a good way to do it too, talking from experience tho i dont have any psychological study to back me up this time.
All and all, don’t belittle those who are caught up in this. If they know it’s wrong then assist them getting out of that hole they dug themselves into. As muslims it is a duty to look out for each other and help those in trouble. Cheers and Assalamualaikum!

5 Rights Of Quran On Believers
The book of Allah, the Holy Quran has rights on believers These 5 rights of the Quran are listed below;
1. To believe like it should be believed
2. To read as it demands reading
3. To understand as it should be understood
4. To act upon it like it demands action
5. To disseminate like it has the right to be disseminated ( to spread the massage of Quran)
1. To believe like it should be believed;
By definition belief means “to accept that something is true without any proof”. Merely reciting the Quran will not lead to believing it wholeheartedly. To understand and to act upon it demands utmost belief that it is Allah’s Speech. This level of belief will raise its significance in our lives.
“This is the Book about which there is no doubt, a guidance for those conscious of Allah” [Quran 2:2]
2. To Read as it Demands:
Recitation of the Quran demands effort. Basic etiquettes should be followed like doing Wudhu before reciting, sit at a silent place and in a proper manner. Moreover, recitation should be correct like the language of demands proper Tajweed and Makharij. Pronunciations and delivery of words of the Quran needs special emphasizes which most of the people take for granted and read in their own style. A proper schedule should be followed like any other important task of life is planned and executed at proper times. Portions of the Quran should be learned by heart. These Ayaats should be repeated daily during 5 prayers throughout the day. Learning of the Quran has immense rewards.
“Recite the Qur’ān, because it will come on the Day of Judgement and intercede for its people.” [Sahih Muslim]
3. To Understand:
Make it a source of guidance. To understand, translations are a good start. But the student of Quran should not stop there. True guidance can be gained when you understand its language because Quranic language is different and translation does not convey true essence.
“This is a blessed Book which We have revealed to you so that they might reflect upon its verses and that those of understanding would be reminded.” [Quran 38:29]
4. To Act Upon It As It Demands:
Part of belief comes from actions. When you actually believe in something or someone you would do anything as is being commanded. Quran has that same very basic right on you. When you claim to believe, it should not be mere by words. It should be proven by actions. Whatever you gain or understand which is relevant to you should become part of your life instantly.
“Indeed, those who recite the Book of Allāh and establish prayer and spend out of what We have provided them, secretly and publicly, can expect a trade that will never fail.” [Quran, 35:29]
5. To Disseminate Like It Has Right To Be Disseminated:
Your actions become the message of the Quran if they are in accordance with its teachings. What you learn from the Quran, it has the right on you to disseminate among your fellowmen. Ways of dissemination should be subtle and not in such a way that it hurts someone’s integrity or freedom to choose.
“And who is better in speech than he who [says: ‘My Lord is Allah (believes in His Oneness),’ and then stands firm (acts upon His Order), and] invites (men) to Allah’s (Islamic Monotheism), and does righteous deeds, and says: ‘I am one of the Muslims’” [Quran 41:33]

How is rushing throw prayer and not reciting wuran proper a minor sins like what. Rushing throw prayer does not even count and that is the first obligation after the sahadah.

*HOW TO REPENT FROM MAJOR SINS*
No matter how big the sins are or when they were committed, they will be forgiven by Allah when you repent.
Allah Ta’aala says in the Qur’aan:
O My Servants who have wronged against themselves! Do not despair of the Mercy of Allah! Surely Allah forgives all sins. Undoubtedly He is Most Forgiving, Most Merciful. (Surah Zumar, verse 53)
Verily Allah does not forgive the sin of (Shirk) attributing partners to Him, but He forgives any sin besides this for whosoever He wishes. (Surah Nisaa, verse 48)
. It is mentioned in a Hadeeth that when a person seeks forgiveness from a sin, it is as if he did not commit that sin at all. Ask for forgiveness in your own language and your own words. At the time of seeking forgiveness (Taubah) keep the following points in mind:
* You should not be involved in the sin at the time of Taubah.*
* You should have regret and remorse over your sins.*
* You should promise Allah Ta’aala that you will not return to that sin again.*
Any sin, irrespective of how big it is, is forgiven through making Taubah. Turn towards Allah and He will turn towards you. Do not mention or discuss previous sins with others.

Arranged marriage is haram. If you don't want to marry someone you don't marry them.
You can get to know someone via halal dating, halal dating is dating someone you are willing to marry. Or just marry a close friend of yours that you like and think will be a good spouse.

Theres bound to be an overboundary act to happen becase there is a saying in Islam (and I think Allah also mentions this in the Quran if Im not mistaken) that "When One man and One women is alone together, theres bound to be a third viewer, which is the fire of lust desire coming from the devil.." and no matter how one denies this and thinks that a guy and girl CAN BE "just friends" theres no denying that THIS WILL HAPPEN at some point in their companionship:- Either one of them falling in love with the other. Allah knows this will happen because it is the nature of humans at its basic level, so He warns and reminds us earlier just so we wont get hurt in million different ways imaginable, e.g. unrequited love is one of them, to name a few.
You can talk and get to know an opposite gender well befor marriage, but with a few essential rules applied: You neeed chaperones e.g. you friends, your love interest' friends, both of your friends, your brother, siblings, you name it -- JUST NO sitting alone WITH just the two of you...

you can talk to a girl without coming to physical contact and it is best to take someone with you. like never be alone with a different gender. if you dont have friends, then i would say just know your limits, and stay away from physical contact and get to know the other person just by talking. and if theyre sutiable, you marry them.

Don't guess. This is haram too. Go and ask thins question to your near area mosque imam or mufti. Because Islam says to close the door it means you are just talking but maybe Shaytaan leads you in such things like sending each other pics, or just meeting. Every haram relationship starts with a smile, Hi, Hello, chit-chat, and ends with Major sin.
Islam forbids a man to be alone with a non-mahram woman (one who is not his wife or a close relative) even if he is teaching her the Qur'an, which is the Book of Allaah, That is because the Shaytaan (Satan) would come between them. The Prophet of Islam (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “No man is alone with a woman but the Shaytaan will be the third one present.” If this woman wants to hear about Islam and read about it in detail, she can look at books about Islam that have been translated into different languages, so she can take the language that she understands, then if she understands what attracts her to Islam, she can become Muslim. If she does not understand something and wants someone to explain it to her, it is permissible (for her to speak to a man) so long as there is no khula (being alone with a member of the opposite sex) involved - so she could have a mahram (close relative) with her, or a group of women, and the man should be a trustworthy Muslim or a group of trustworthy men who could sit with this woman and teach her about Islam so that she can understand it and proof be established for her. This is permitted.
secondly - do you have a guaranty you are alive next second, next hour, next day, next week, next month? if you really love your girlfriend then make it halal now. talk to your parents to send a proposal and just have the nikah if you are not ready for sharing the house.
