"A Fight to the Death" is our take on the iconic battle track as a full remaster on Shimomura's original melody. By fusing explicit statements of "Dearly Beloved" and "Organization XIII" with the sinister drive of the original track, we aimed to prepare the listener for their final confrontation with the DARKNESS that lies ahead.

In celebration of KINGDOM HEARTS and the stunning melodies of Yoko Shimomura, Utada Hikaru, Takeharu Ishimoto, and Tsuyoshi Sekito, we present Project Destati’s second volume.
DARKNESS is the highly-anticipated follow-up album to Project Destati’s 2014 Billboard-charting soundtrack album “LIGHT.” The album is a musical amalgamation of fan-favorite themes from the KINGDOM HEARTS series, re-assembled in an all-new fashion like long-forgotten memories.
Featuring a live string orchestra and industry-leading soloists, DARKNESS is a dark, grand, and mysterious musical experience that aims to capture Tetsuya Nomura’s own imagination.

It was kinda pathetic how he was weakly grasping at dissention to turn his enemies against each other. Betrayal and hatred is all the Organization knew under his rule, and he just assumes every social collective functions exactly the same.
I wish this one was longer. It’s so good, but much shorter than the other standout battle tracks in this album.
No Heart: "You're making me stand up. You wouldn't like me when I stand up."

that music was an important part of why the fight with Xemnas was so epic !

I didn't hear the roxas theme, but dearly beloved was in the original, so it makes sense it would be featured prominently here.

Yeah, what I mean is that as Xemnas is Terranort's nobody, there's still some Terra's essence inside him
Xemnas is almost all Terra, and Asem would be 50/50 Xehanort/Terra (if Eraqus isn't there with them)
So yeah, Terra's still here, but only in pieces.

Miguel Longle It's called simply "Xion", it's a medley containing many variations of her theme including Vector to the Heavens.
It's also in the latter part of 'Organization XIV'
