- A daddy daughter date for dinner while Priscilla is at the school with Isaiah. It's important to spend one on one time with your kids and give them that attention from each parent. It makes for a better relationship. Abbie probably wasn't actually embarrassed but it was a cute thumbnail and it looks like she just "can't even" with me.

I hope that you and Abigail make this a tradition. My dad and I had a father / daughter date once a month for decades. This Sunday, I went to "our" place alone, to let them know that my dad is gone. I kept looking next to me to see if he was enjoying his meal. He lived for 84 wonderful years. I will miss him for the rest of my days. Having the memories of time spent with him keeps me going. I want the same for everyone else, too. Much love to you all.

So sorry for your loss. I love hearing stories about wonderful father daughyer relationships. We often here to much anout bad dad's and girls with "daddy issues". I too am very close to my dad who will be 80 next summer. That number scares me. I worry about him all the time. Dads are the best

Oh yeah when he first got the camera with the disappearing stick at least he explained it for us...it was before Patreon peeps helped with a drone so kind of a while ago. Definitely still always get that 'where is the stick' feeling. Movie magic. Just have to see how his hand is...if he is holding the disappearing stick then we have a clue but it's still magic there. Like the opposite of one of those leashes walking an invisible dog like they sell at Disney.

I love that the new house gives you so many more ways to go out and do things like walking. Abby looked like she had a wonderful time. My son eats none stop and wish we lived closer to places to eat that he could walk to. Food is an awesome thing to work for when he is having a rough day.

Is your son skinny? I notice that a lot of autistic people are really skinny but eat so much! I wonder if autism affects metabolism.
No he is not he is about 5'8" and weighs about 200 pounds. We have started playing Pokemon Go to get him out and walking and he actually really communicates we me while we are playing. But we really have to limit the amount he eats because he would be a lot bigger if we didn't
@@kimbooth4788 Yea I also notice that a lot of autistic people are overweight. I'm autistic myself and i'm a bit overweight. I notice not many autistic people are average weight. It really interests me. I know some autistic people are overweight due to medication side effects though.
@@kimbooth4788 I also notice that those on the more high functioning and asperger sides seem to be on the more thinner side while those with more severe forms with autism seem to be on the more overweight side.
I love how well Abbie is communicating. I think I am getting the hang of her signs too.
My mom's like Priscilla when it comes to not wanting sugar in coffee. I swear, I could rinse off a spoon that stirred sugar and cream in coffee, then use it to stir cream in her coffee, and she'd notice.

I totally understand what you mean about the yelling. My four year old non verbal son used to do a high pitched scream as a stem and it was constant, now he does the same kind of yelling i see abbie doing and its all day everyday. It can definitely get frustrating sometimes for me as well but i also understand he needs to do it.....but im ready for him to move on to the next stem haha. You guys are an amazing family and i love watching your videos!

I wanted to say thank you. I was told as a child I had down syndrome. After watching your videos I asked them to retest me. Come to find out I have autism a mild form. So I wanted to say thank you for making these videos

This reminds me of something my dad and I did after my mom passed. He took me to get pizza and it was nice. Now on Friday nights we go and have dinner with friends of his that have become family to me as well. It’s nice to have something to look forward too. ❤️ keep this tradition going

May be more of a beach thing, but I live the island next to Clearwater and there are soo many golf carts, you see lots at any restaurant. I guess it makes sense considering the population difference between where we live. You and your amazing family are welcome to come ride and park at a restaurant with us anytime ☺️

: : Asa & Priscilla I’ve been thinking a lot about how many people assume a non verbal (non English language speaking) child absolutely must be intellectually low functioning or severely delayed but I’ve been watching Abbie’s videos for over a year and can see just how aware she is intellectually about most of the things you say to her directly or in earshot. You could absolutely reason with her and explain context and I’m fully confident Abbie would understand a lot of it!!! She’s such a smart kiddo. ; ) : :
