To me, the attacks were very fluid. I was able to switch my direction if I noticed an enemy creeping up, and free aim. The main stiffness imo came from that little window of not being able to cancel out an attack. So while it’s not locked direction wise, there is a bit of input lock

Great review, this game looks to be exactly what I’m looking for, and FINALLY reasonable coop!!!! I do hope you can disable invasion as even in sniper elite 5 you can and it’s done well. I never opened up the option to be invaded in Elden Ring, yet a few hours in I was indeed invaded and for me I enjoy pve and pvp when the time is right, especially with epilepsy, some days I can play but pvp can be too stimulating. Remnant 2 is such a well done game and other than no dedicated servers, if the connection fails I still want to get right back in and most times it’s a time or two a day aside from one day was 14 times and after an hour of that I quit for a while yet returned. Thank you for the content and take care!
I'm looking forward to this game more than any in recent memory. This is absolutely #1 on my list. It really looks amazing. Glad I just bought massive upgrades for my rig, they'll be needed!
I don't know why but the look of this game somewhat reminds me of demons souls remake. Not just with the art direction but technically too (except for the attack animations). Very impressive looking game.
What I want to know is, where is the Demo? Sony released in a statement a few months back that any game over 34$ must showcase a 2hr demo at least 3 months prior to release.
I want to say this is the closest I've been to hype for a game for a while hopefully it'll turn out all right going from a meme in the souls community something that's respectable and can stand on its feet
Im so glad that the reviews are good. The first lords of the fallen was my first souls-like game. Played it to get ready for my first actual souls game, Bloodborne. Enjoyed it immensely. Cant wait for this and might be able to scratch that Elden Ring itch.

They invented that and it’s such a smart button mapping that NO ONE THOUGHT OF LOL. Thanks to Fromsoft we get to experience games like lies of p lords of the fallen nioh hollow knight surge 2.
The game sounds almost like more of a spiritual successor to the original, rather than a sequel. Almost like Dark Souls is to Demon's Souls. Speaking of, I noticed some similarities between LotF2 and DeS. Whatever that other Lantern world is called, you said it gets more difficult the more time you spend there, and new enemies spawn. That's sort of like Black World Tendency in DeS. A lot of the imagery I'm these clips felt similar to DeS, as well. I don't think it really means anything, just couldn't help but notice. Completed the original game when it first came out, thought it was ok at the time. Glad to see this is greatly revamped and with persistent multi-player this time!
I do like that the Umbral world feels dark and dangerous, you have to move around quickly and get back to the world of the living before you are overwhelmed, love that.
What are some questions you have about Lords of the Fallen? I'll be answering as many as I can👇
I love the restriction on summons for the first attempt. It was so annoying to watch people go straight to summons without even trying the boss.
How is the world structure, is it open world or semi open like traditional dark souls? Also is stealth a option?
Did you have in-game music during the demo? If yes, what are your thoughts on that?

1:02 I'm sold.
This game looks really good. Potentially game of the year level good. And from this video I feel confident the combat is good too
I can’t wait I have had this pre ordered for 4 months now . I can’t wait !!! Wow this looks amazing!!!
this game looks amazing, feels like a true dark souls 4.
GREAT video thank you! I hadn't heard of you before searching for new Lords content, but glad I stopped by. Great detail and explanation - love it!
Man, the graphics and the animations look absolutely stunning!
Thank you for this, the game looks amazing! Can't wait to give it a spin!
I’m so glad they took the mistakes from the previous games to heart and went balls deep on the reimagining of this title.
So stoked!
The coop aspect definitely has my attention. I would play Dark Souls 1-3 again if I could play it with a friend of mine - and play it properly, where we're both considered "the player", not player + spirit.
The previous game frankly sucked imo, so it's very nice to see this one looking so promising! Definitely giving this a shot!
I didn't even know the 2 were connected until today lol, That's how much better this one looks.
U sold me on this game Zio really hope d movement don't sucks
Im most impressed by the graphics and art design in this. Its on the level of the demon souls remake, which is very impressive
Waste of tech and graphics on another souls-like trash 🤮
boohoo@@wallacesousuke1433
We're getting so many good games at once. I've had nothing to play for months and now have this, Baldur's Gate 3, Starfield, Cyberpunk DLC, and Spiderman 2. I never taught I'd say it but thank God Elden Ring isn't releasing dlc right now. My wife is going to hate me 😅
am i the only person that thinks the attack animations look stiff or am i just to used to DS animations looking so krisp.
Yeah, and that was an issue in the original (which I found to be terrible, and I really tried to like it)
I'm gonna give this one a try, though. Hopefully they've honed and learned
To me, the attacks were very fluid. I was able to switch my direction if I noticed an enemy creeping up, and free aim. The main stiffness imo came from that little window of not being able to cancel out an attack. So while it’s not locked direction wise, there is a bit of input lock
Looked great to me
Glad to see they went all out and did it right ..one game I've been looking forward for the last couple years..let's go
11:31 “so I doubt it’ll happen in the final product” no you don’t. You can only hope it’s fixed in the final product. Once sponsored always biased. Quit lying boi😂😂
Haha I knew you were gonna make a video on this game. But man this game looks amazing, I hope they iron out some of the shortcomings before launch and optimization as well as the length of the game is good. Also bois pray for me I really really hope I can upgrade my gpu before the launch because this game looks awesome and playing it on low graphics with bad fps would be a shame.
Impossible to trust a paid vacation review.
But to be fair the game really looks good. Looking forward to play the demo. I wanna at least give it a shot if possible
The game actually looks good tho
I don’t need to trust the review. I can just look at this B roll and tell with 100% certainty that I’ll love this game.
You’re free to think that, but this video was completely unrestricted and I was completely honest. The game was actually good
@@Ziostorm I totally believe you and I’m really looking forward to playing. You’ve always been straight up with this community and I for one appreciate it.
Great video, thanks! Been following this release from the beginning and can't wait. You go into more detail and show different gameplay than I've seen from others who got to play, so thanks!
The original Lords of the fallen was years ahead of every game when comes to graphic.
Man,the first time i saw it,i fell in love with it. I did not have computer for it,but i enjoyed every single video about it.
Many years later,i am getting ready to play remake.
The Dark Souls 4 we never got.
Her 4 crimson winged design is what immediately sold me on the its so Striking and captivating, its theses things to me that prove art direction/style is more important than graphics
The last gameplay showcase had multiple animations that felt speed up at times and/or unfinished with weak sound effects. Would you say this has improved?
I noticed some things like that in the footage, but never felt that way while playing. Idk if it’s an issue with the recording or what
This is like that meme about the nerd who grows up into Giga Chad.
this will be the first soulslike that will really go head to head with those from FromSoftware
Many games nowadays are shipped with these issues so don't be surprised if this one does too.
Last in case, Atlas Fallen.
Oh man the Bloodborne style dodge is the best thing I've heard so far.
you said it looks like the enemies are getting hit, the gameplay showed the complete opposite-doesn’t even look like they react at all.
The combat feel was the only thing keeping me from pre-ordering, because everything else looked absolutely phenomenal since the first reveal! Thank you for a fantastic preview Zio and congrats on the invitation :)
After seeing the last trailer, the main thing I wasn’t terribly impressed with was the sound effects as it relates to attacks. Hopefully that gets ironed out but beyond that, I’m hoping this game turns out great.
First few seconds, Majula. Not where you are, but how it feels.
This game and AC6 are the two main games I have been looking forward too this year.
I’ve got two bolts and a board left over from putting together this dresser but it’s not entirely IKEA’s fault that I didn’t bother to read the instructions… 😆
Oh man, it’s always so funny when I hear this sort of thing. And not at all surprising how often I do.
(I’m just bustin his chops a little. I would’ve been excited to get playing too!)
Great video, man! Can’t wait to play this one!
I have been very cautiously optimistic on this game, but after watching this video and the one from fextra I will probably get the deluxe so I can unga bunga. This looks like the DS4 we never got.
10:10 “Blight Town” I am having flash backs now
Awesome video! Lookong forward to playing this even more now
He said he wants to see what a max level endgame build would look like but I think we all know It's running around with nothing but a cloth and a turkey sandwich
the art direction looks perfect. i mean, the armour sets look astonishing it's unreal
Ziostorm: Explaining each class and their perks
Me: ”I’m sorry, I stopped listening after I saw the BloodBorne Hunter”
Looks really cool, definitely gonna keep my eye on this one
looks like ds2 to me; the way character moves, jumps and rolls
I’m beyond excited for this game. I have been since they first released gameplay. This has been a day 1 purchase for me on Art direction alone.
It looks a lot like the demon souls remake which is good imo
The Metroid background music makes me happy :) I'm excited for this game!
This is looking like one of those games that I’m gonna end up playing through again a million times. I’m so excited to try every build under the sun!
Thank you for this video! This helped me make up my mind in buying this game. I can't wait to play it!
I heard "you can parry with every weapon, and the window is generous". I am so playing this game!
Im so glad that the reviews are good. The first lords of the fallen was my first souls-like game. Played it to get ready for my first actual souls game, Bloodborne. Enjoyed it immensely. Cant wait for this and might be able to scratch that Elden Ring itch.
I'm not sure if I should thank you or curse you for getting me hyped for this game. But you succeeded nevertheless.
I still recall the first time I played a Fromsoft game and realized they used the trigger and bumper as attack buttons at frost it felt so strange to be I was so used to the face buttons but after an hour with dark souls 2 I was hooked. They invented that and it’s such a smart button mapping that NO ONE THOUGHT OF LOL. Thanks to Fromsoft we get to experience games like lies of p lords of the fallen nioh hollow knight surge 2.
Thx ! I wait for this for months. Can't wait to play the Dark crusader, Happy 13th october :)
FUKIN NAILED the review and I'm going to sub.
looks fun and an improvement on the original.. I'll probably pick it up.
Game looks so much better than the original. Hopefully they found their voice in this new one
I do like that the Umbral world feels dark and dangerous, you have to move around quickly and get back to the world of the living before you are overwhelmed, love that.
