Only thing better than watching Stock Eliminator is watching Super Stock Eliminator. Thanks as always for taking the time and energy to bring this racing to You Tube. Happy 2022 to you and your family.
How could anyone NOT love Stock Eliminator??? Big-blocks, small-blocks, classic musclecars, station wagons, late models, colonades. Wouldn't surprise me if a couple of tricycles pedaled into the staging lanes and duked it out. Good stuff man, damn good stuff indeed!
Thank you for the great coverage. These are the cars that often go unwatched but are every bit as competitive as any class and the variety of show cars is great.
I think the 73 Buick in the first race is Lynn Smith from Pontiac Illinois. If you are a Buick fan you probably know the name. He has raced a Buick in stock eliminator for decades. Good guy too
Don’t let the name fool you. The degree of optimization and blueprinting these cars go through is almost magic. Every stock part required is perfected. Every allowable aftermarket part is purchased. Engines for these cars can cost $50,000. And the travel expenses and hauler rigs cost $$$. Showing up to an NHRA event can cost thousands. Some stock racers have said they’ve spent $100,000 in a season. This isn’t stock like I first thought when I became interested. It’s more like Pro Stock used to be.
@@RPMArmy same here. It just feels more..."authentic", like anybody (with the right funds) could do it. The Big Three pro classes are so fast they ends so quickly. Stock feels more like a RACE race.
You all do A good job on all them cars They are some good Looking cars to Thank you for sharing your video with me You Besafe an Well an strong Have All good days an nites from Roy thank you 👍💪👌🙏😎
Having witnessed many drag races I am 61 now I have to say Buicks have surprised a lot of racers through the years and that 73 in this video launched like a rocket. Amazing that heavy of a car can launch that hard.
Go get another one and put it together and get happy!!!! I put together an H/SA car for a friend of mine and had to pry his hands off the steering wheel to get him out of it!!!!!
a sportsman prior to 2000 season world finals. It's sad to see cars that should not ever have been drag raced in the first place now being raced because it is unobtainable to find the cars that should have be and were raced if that makes sense to anybody then you'll understand why I chuckle when I see a Grandma's car racing in the NHRA. 🤔
Prices on everything is insane. I sold a base 350 Pontiac LeMans for over $10k 2 years ago and I shudder thinking about how much more I could have gotten today if I just kept it a little longer.
i don't go against Ohio , i rub iowa . i tune in for the once champ warren johnson son . before he would get on his hands & knees and pretend he was tunned . driving 600 cars into their first warm-up but wait a moment an obsessed energy . . . but wait a moment

Thank you very much! Make sure you check back first Tuesday in Feb. I have the Super Stock round one eliminations set to premier that evening.
You are absolutely correct. Stock and Super Stock = Badass!!!!!!
It's great to see sportsman racers get some exposure. Stock& Super Stock are the 2 best classes !
Make sure you check back first Tuesday of next month. First round of Super Stock Eliminations will be posted! Thanks for the comment. :)
True that
Super stock is my favorite
Pure muscle

Haha glad you enjoyed. I guess the closest thing to tricycle here is a straight six Nova, but when you hit your ET you hit your ET. Lol

I love Stock Eliminator and have a lot more to get posted this winter. Thank you.
Best racing classes ever thanks so much!
Just found channel , love this .
Pure American muscle big wheelies. Best form of drag racing
Thanks! 🤟
Gotta love it when a heavy, real car leaves with the wheels in the air. Good stuff.
Thanks!
Wow. Thanks. I love Bracket Racing. This here is the best I've seen.
Thanks! I appreciate that.
That Gillespie F/B was an impressive performer. Would like-ta see more on that combo. Thanks for posting. Good stuff.

I need to make it to this race this year. I see a lot of friends. Thanks for posting.
You're very welcome! Would love to see your Cop Camaro running at Trails. I got some good photos of it at Kil Kare when OSCA was in town.
Love this stuff man and I hope you have some more content please thanks sir appreciate it
Sure do buddy. I camp at trails every day during SpeedWeek so I’ll have tons of stock eliminator and super stock coming up this year.
@@RPMArmy sweet thanks for the video

When GM was sharing platforms like that, you ended up with a LOT of surprises.

Beautiful Car's
Yes they are!
Awsome
Thank you!
Awesome racing
Thank you 👍
Great cars, Great Video, the red/white 63-64 nova must have been a six? BUT STOCK?????
Stock elims have categories for 6cyl Mustangs. Hell, you can run a 2007 Civic Si.
Great vid!!!!
Thanks! Checked out your channel. Really like the model building. I have a couple stashed away that matched some of my IRL project cars.
@@RPMArmy Aaaaaaa cool!!!!!!
@@RPMArmy In the summer it's mostly car shows and drag racing. The models keep me busy during the Winter months! 😉👍
Thankyou
You’re welcome 😊
I absolutely love Jim Watsons V/SA Chevy.!! Go Underdog, Go.!!
😁👍
Years ago I ran ssj in a 68 camro with a 358 ci small block wish I still had that car 😆
Mine was a ‘72 LeMans, full pro touring suspension setup. Miss it but I bought a full fab shop worth of equipment with the proceeds.
Go get another one and put it together and get happy!!!! I put together an H/SA car for a friend of mine and had to pry his hands off the steering wheel to get him out of it!!!!!

TC Morris is hard to beat in that late model GTO! Let me take that back, anyone from the Morris camp is hard to beat.
😁👍
How about showing the ET in speed don't understand why you guys don't do that
nova at 3:10 . 15.12 dial in 15 .12 run . great racer
Indeed! Was surprised to see the I-6 Nova but he had it dialed for sure.

Can't even see the run times on that board or maybe it's the camera angle
I'm out💨💨💨
Gets better later in the video. Sun was super bright a lot of the time and it can't be helped.
Scoreboard sucks
Can only do what I can do based on where the sun is shining. Later on in the video it gets better.
Man If You need a scoreboard for this, you should be looking at something else.
Its great Army, don't change a thing.
LAME! Too many Chevy's. ill be sure to report and block this garbade video
