Thanks for watching. Overtime I found that I prefer using the vest in any condition where I'm moving and fishing. I know many people that use a backpack and seem to like it. I have been thinking about changing my traditional tackle box to a backpack to make it easier to carry around.
Love that smallie mount! Great overview of your loadout. Do they allow you to keep a digital copy of your license? Here in MI all I need is my phone in a water proof case and it’s got all my docs.
Thanks that is one of two I have. They are from the BWCA in northern Minnesota. We have to use paper. The digital version is hard to access on the website. Wish we were more like you.
@@DadLifeFishingAdventures that stinks, because I can’t tell you how many hard copies I used to lose on windy days. I’m glad they went digital here. It has a scalable QR code on the image that they can use to bring up your state ID from to verify it’s you. Pretty neat!
My IDPA vest will become a fishing vest if I dive into this hobby

That's kind of cool actually. I personally use a backpack but I know you do a lot of creek fishing and you seem to have that thing decked out.

So thats what all those pockets are for. When i wear my vest they're usually just filled with snacks
Now I should add some snacks. Sounds like a good plan 🙂
nice vest Mike. I need to get me one of these if I decide to do more wade fishing.
I highly recommend it and I think it is helpful when bank fish as well.
Perfect that's pretty much my set up when wading the river.
