Hope you feel better! Make a hot tottie w cloves, honey, fresh lemon and YES the whiskey! (Ginger & cinnamon addition helps too) I know you don’t drink but it will help. Drink 2, wrap up in a blanket and sweat it out. If you can get airborne, dissolve in a small glass of water-twice a day. I knocked the flu out in a day and a half with this! It works. Best wishes to a speedy recovery.
Price depends on where you are in the USA, city or town or state. Is comparable overall. High prices due to season markets, ie Christmas and CAUSE the dollar/euro isn’t worth anything anymore thanks to…well you get the idea govt! I’ve eaten at that Crepes kiosk many times- great taste of all types offered, great price, and the owner is a nice guy. The crepe place is my go to when in Galway (weekend market).
Agreed, Food is too expensive for the amount an average person makes AFTER the many multiple taxes are withdrawn from the paycheck. In addition pre tax Gross paychecks are not that much to begin with either. Being far less than the average American worker gets. Even what an average E.U households earn. Having said that the Crepes at the end of the video for €8.50 is a very reasonable amount for what you get. It always looks delicious and has enough of a portion that you won’t be hungry afterward. Like that small hot dog you had.
@@Corrky😂haha I think so 🤣 Here in the U.S you can get an All 100 % Beef hot dog 🌭 on a fresh bun. hot for $1.50 and you get a free large coke or whatever soft drink you want. That is double the size of that one you have for $6 or €5 Euro. All the other things you tried about the same price here.
Very well done video, very professional, you could easily work for a local TV station, as for the food you had, people in Ireland should travel more to see really good BBQ and grill food. For example the countries of ex-Yugoslavia, Croatia, Montenegro, Serbia...try dishes like pljeskavica or chevape or pulled pork, you would see a big difference in quality and presentation...these countries are famous for their grill food...As for the prices , are directly proportional to Irish hospitality + the atmosphere of Christmas... A country that has one of the highest GDPs and everyone complains that they don't have money... but it's your social setting... there should be more think of people, they would be more satisfied…
I watch a video about Irelands GDP, stated a big part was due to all the American corporations there with the low national tax…6%? They stated the average Ireland house income was below 50K a year and with their high income tax of 40% or even more, it’s considered one of the most expensive Euro countries. Not entirely sure of the accuracy of the video, but it made sense.
Walk into an Irish petrol station or newsagent and try come out with a substantial bit of lunch for less than 10 euro in the current economic climate... Goodluck! Not only that, it will involve a premade packaged sandwich, 90% of which is just bread. Aside from this you might get a piece of fruit OR a packet of crisps, and a drink. Not an actual hot, freshly prepared burger or otherwise. People who complain about those prices, where are you shopping?? It's mad prices but that's the country, again, WHERE ARE YOU SHOPPING??

Thank you! She is feeling better already today.
@Corrky great news! I am really glad! 🙂❤️
So much going on there and folks walking everywhere all the time. You all must be in such good shape!
We try to be. I should really get back to running regularly to be honest.

I wouldn't mind the price if I was getting something good. Unfortunately that was not the case in most cases.

I can't wait to try stuff in US. Looking forward to many things honestly.
@ looking forward to it and all the videos:) when you visit :)
If you went to the market at St Nicholas' church you'd have got better quality food for cheaper. The christmas market is a tourist trap.
I did, that’s where the crepe guy is :)
IT HAS COME TO THE DAY WERE A HANDLEFULL OF CHIPS IS WORTH 7.50 ?????? WE ARE ALL DOOMED
