Khufo with super critical, critical AP and a couple of moves that do crits on type advantage and combine that with ap factory so it can transfer any ap it makes to the main attacker (my shining kuneko)
@@ReigoVassal My personal favorite is using a glitter beast with pre-empitive strike(with %crit per empty slot) and critical mass with an astral attack attached next then a poison beast with chemical imbalance+dual wield and spit or smack for infinite attacks and debuff stacking for the next enemy in trainer battles I personally like the berserk status but you can adapt any debuff in the game thanks to the glitter versatility, for example you can speed things up with earth - metal for defense down or metal - lightning for double hitting eith conductive Sadly it is not suitable for archangels fights but it is still fun to just slowly kill your enemies by spitting
so your saying that something that ends the battle before it starts, isn't OP? yes theres many builds but it doesn't make kepri with this build any less OP
I like to put Hypnotize on a beast with 7 random starters this will instead put the enemy to sleep for 3 rounds while you make short work of them without risking killing a bootleg. Then swap to my beast with Last Rites and 7 random starters to finish if there is nothing worth recording.
Current Patch at least any first turn Bootlegs are protected from dying to this. They'll just sit at like 1 hp until the turn actually starts. I don't know if it works on fusion swarms, but rogue and I assume unstable it should.

One thing I have noticed is that if you play it smart, you CAN use this for Bootleg/Monster hunting, all you gotta do is keep that Kehpri in you back pocket until you see the Monster/Bootleg you want, then have your character immediately use a tape on the Monster while in the same turn, have Viola switch to one of the Kehpri and watch as that catch percentage skyrockets. As for some reason, using an item takes priority over switching Monsters.
I tried to catch a Beast type Boltam like this. Khepri gunned it down before I could get the tape out. Maybe if you used Crossfade instead of switching?
Honestly you can do that from the start of the game . Both starters and siranade can learn heatshot and random starter , they don't have the same range attack than Keprhi but still can one shot all fights before post game. If you do a third monster with that build , a lot of monster learn both moves, you can switch between the tree of them and the effect happens again.
The only issue with this I’ve noticed and random starter in general is when bootlegs appear in fusions itll just wipe them out before you can catch them
As long as you do it at the start of the round, like directly when you run into the fusion swarm or rogue fusion, it will still work because it will not kill it as long as it is a bootleg. I’ve gotten lucky multiple times 👍🏼
I’m always afraid that build videos just prevent a community from using their own creativity but 1. It’s endgame 2. There are plenty of OP builds in the game and 3. Most importantly, no online play. I would hate for this great game to start looking like Pokémon with its 2 preferred builds per raid event
Good thing there isn't competitive multiplayer, lol. I do need to get a bootleg just to stop the stupid wind shield when hitting Air types. The one archangel (spoiler wont say, but youve probably already beat it if watching this video) is the only thing that stops this. Also love starting with a beast type on the field with echolocation.
IF you dont want to wait until the endgame to do this, you can get 2 "Terracooka" from caves and Remaster them to "Coaldron". Is not as trong as a Kepri (in fact is almos half the power). But in the Main Game and Eng Game they actually work really well
I have a go to fusion while not a one turn machine it can trivalise the Archangels thanks to it's Fusion Power which is a 200 power single target ranged attack that applies Sleep, I've beat [redacted] with this combo and I had to use a wall once thanks to [redacted] having Neutralise
I actually discovered this on my own today. My khepri has Headshot (+20% Splash damage per empty slot and +1 slot) and three random starters. It prevents from killing turn zero, but I crossfade from a Thwackalope with custom starters Deja vu and Broadcast. In case you don't know, multistrike does work for crossfade and will cause starter moves to be rolled twice. It also avoids the walls with air coating on my Khepri.
It slightly less effective now due to the existence of machine curse (which causes damage cause my passive effect to damage the user instead, pretty much in the video example you would instantly game over if you ran into machine curse as you blast your self 4 time with head shot). It's still a neat combo but they did add a skill that will kill you if you use it and will appear during the endgame content and dlc content i think (i beleive every single boss in the dlc has it, and likely every boss in any future dlc will have it too)
Also you should set up a third one. The reason is switching in can trigger Random Starter so by having a third if you don't kill the thing somehow you can switch to the third one with the player then have the partner switch to the other one... and to a lesser degree in terms of best Bootleg for them either Glitter which would take god knows how long, Glass which has a massive weakness which isn't really that big of a deal with what this build aims for, and Beast which doesn't get debuffed by anything and doesn't buff anything with attacks from what I can tell.
down side to this , use this with you or the enemy with machine curse will only do massive to yourself, so if you use it at the wrong time you will only wipe youself. if anyone has machine curse any auto attacks and staus to the enemy will always reflect.
Do not use this build!! It completely made the game boring and made me stop playing after just a couple hours. Honestly so sad because I really liked the game, but it just made it too easy. 💔
I'm glad this game doesn't have PvP because goofy and fun OP combos don't have to be patched out for maximum 50/50, perfectly evenly split fairness as much as possible
Today (06/15), I get the ressonance hit kill. So my tactical is shot a glamour on a strong beast, and than shot with a glass atack. And at end I only spam Aerial atacks to get LVL 3 of Ressonance and Hit kill the big enemies
New player over at cassette beasts, but cant you use a sticker that auto change type of beast at the start of the battle to to auto put it on the most passive choice? Like beast or poison or plastic, since neither create walls (at least if i am not mistaken)
My Khepri's name is Tupot-Fusun (short for "The Unmatched Power Of The Fucking Sun") and their moveset is: Spit (Rare) +1 Slot Multi Shot Rapid Fire (replaced by Astral Coating for Air, Water, Earth, and Astral types) 5 Random Starters Headshot (Uncommon) +18% Accuracy He's not the _perfect_ killing machine, but he's still a killing machine.
Most things you can do with custom starter , random starter, chemical imbalance and critical mass are pretty busted. Khepri is pretty nice but Fungogh with Djinn Entonic can go through all 3 layers of an orb fusion turn 0. Honestly, I don't like the postgame very much for that reason. There is nothing they can throw at you that's a challenge. The game seems definitely balanced around these passives being difficult to obtain. There is enough replayability in randomiser and challenge runs. The postgame is just kinda grindy and it seems like they added it because they were afraid people would complain about a lack of content.
You can actually find it with the random monsters in the cave from the video he made about catching a Khepri. I found 3 of them and it wasn't in the red cache box. Just encounter act with all the monsters in the cave, if you don't see one, leave, return and search again

Like I'm pretty sure I already seen 119 of 120 monsters and the last one should be that anathema you mentioned since I never seen that one yet.... This is broken! I thought I broke the game by using triphinx and and kephri. Mind meld, and then they both use wonderful 7 every turn. I smoked Lenna at lvl 60 to her 100.
Played Pokémon back in the 90s and this looked cute, but the sub 2 turn battles is really not for me. I like a good 30 to 45 turn fight with some ebb and flow through buffs etc. Should I stay away from cassette beasts?
You can definitely play as you want to, this is a build out of 100000 (and not even the most broken or easy to do one) but ultimately its what you build that decides the outcome so you can easily make another build that is funnier and more to your liking, like I did Still the game has its flaws but they dont really come out until late, and even then they are obscured by the fact its made with so much love that you cannot have fun while playing it
Okay, so if we set this combo aside, what other options are there for having a (not nearly as) powerful team? Especially talking things that are available in the mid- to late-game? I'm 20 hours in and literally haven't used one sticker. It's just not a system I felt compelled to engage with.
Yeah, hope they have plans to address this for PvP. Stuff like this is fun in singleplayer but makes for a multiplayer experience so degenerate no one is going to want to do it for long. Matches being determined by highest speed stat before anyone can even take a turn isn't exactly riveting gameplay. It goes without saying PvP should have a "no dupes" rule at the very least. Pre Strike and Random Starter are powerful, but only really broken because you can stack them in multiples.
@@MatsuzoSFit seems like they did at least when I fought my first captain in the post game I had 2 khepris and got 10 headshots off, it destroyed the tape but didn’t do any damage once the human form was getting hit with headshot. So ig in pvp this strats really only gonna work if you have the absolute maxed out speed you can have and it’ll only be for the first two tapes.

I'm a sucker for one shotting stuff especially since i got experience in competitive pokemon and using setup sweepers. But honestly i used this strat for basically the rest of the end game. Using 1 khepri with a rare headshot (can bypass walls) and i just used a meelee variant with kingrave using last rites. I felt kinda bad since it trivialized the rest of the supposed challenges in the latter portion of the game with stuff like fighting Ianth, the captain rematches, the rest of the archangels, and the final boss. It is fun, and funny, when using it at first, but personally i might do another save and not use this strat to test out other strategies and see what strats can be done to get through the later archangels and the captain rematches.
I sincirely hope they will nerf this strategy by allowing only one passive sticker of the same name to activate at a time rather than multiple. I also at some point discovered how broken it is when I put multiple pre-emptive strikes on my Riptera to test if it would work, and it did. Then I tested it with multiple custom starters, and it allowed me to use the same move multiple times before the battle even starts. I did the testing with random starter as well and the results were similar. After I discovered it, I forced a rule for myself to not use multiple passive stickers of the same name, and I am happy that I did. There were many other cool strategies I came up with to make monsters powerful without using multiple passive stickers of the same name. I think the issue here is that it cost 0 AP, so it is easy to abuse. Sticker like "Roll again" can't be abused, because it force you to use AP ( and if AP runs out, it won't work). Not to mention that Roll Again has way smaller chance to activate. Multi-hit and Dual-hit are very underpowered, because you need to use AP to activate them, and then use AP twice when the move is used twice. Those need a buff. Automation, Custom Starter and Random Starter however are broken because they can roll stuff for free, so I hope they nerf it.
@@GymLeaderEd I dunno. It kind of leans into one overpowered strategy over everything else. Just put everything into damage at the start of battle that cost 0 AP, and even if you won't win instantly, you can just keep switching. Your AP will keep going up because you never use it. I am aboslutly sure that making AP useless isn't what this game was about. ( I would even say it is an exploit that the developers of this game didn't consider ). I think there are many interesting and more fun strategies you can use if you limit yourself to use only 1 passive sticker of the same name.
If you ever find a glitter allseer, congrats. You've won. Echolocation Pre strike Glass camo Pre strike Air camo Pre strike Pre strike Pre strike You just wiped the entire first line of enemies, and can swap your monster back in to do it again.
Figured this out when trying this combo with allseer and fungough, but the starter stickers are rolls whereas preemptive strike is guaranteed. So if you glitter them, then hit them with glass, then hit them three times with air, they'll die to resonance. I stopped using it after I one shot a secret boss and felt really bad.

The funniest thing about Khepri is it simultaneously has the highest ranged attack in the game and the lowest melee attack
I got a Fire bootleg Khepri. That's right. Fire.
You can also find khepri in the mt wiran caves as a back up spawn with other cassettes
And in Rogue Fusions in there.

For some added flair. I would get Bootleg Khepri and use Rare Random Starter and Headshot stickers. (Especially damage boost and Slot +1).

not as strong but significantly easier to get alternative is to get kingraves and give them random starter and last rites

Yeh it was specifically added because of this strategy, at the time the guide was made machine curse didnt exist yet though.
If you ever feel like your job is useless, remember someone programmed movesets for the endgame superbosses.

I luckily just yesterday got a rare headshot that destroys walls, so the air counter isn't a threat to me anymore

Khepri is already a pain to find one before postgame. Two is too time consuming

You can do a melee version of this combo with last rites. Ideally with Kingsgrave or Moscotorn.

But honestly i used this strat for basically the rest of the end game. Using 1 khepri with a rare headshot (can bypass walls) and i just used a meelee variant with kingrave using last rites. I felt kinda bad since it trivialized the rest of the supposed challenges in the latter portion of the game with stuff like fighting Ianth, the captain rematches, the rest of the archangels, and the final boss.
It is fun, and funny, when using it at first, but personally i might do another save and not use this strat to test out other strategies and see what strats can be done to get through the later archangels and the captain rematches.
I sincirely hope they will nerf this strategy by allowing only one passive sticker of the same name to activate at a time rather than multiple.
I also at some point discovered how broken it is when I put multiple pre-emptive strikes on my Riptera to test if it would work, and it did. Then I tested it with multiple custom starters, and it allowed me to use the same move multiple times before the battle even starts. I did the testing with random starter as well and the results were similar.
After I discovered it, I forced a rule for myself to not use multiple passive stickers of the same name, and I am happy that I did. There were many other cool strategies I came up with to make monsters powerful without using multiple passive stickers of the same name.
I think the issue here is that it cost 0 AP, so it is easy to abuse.
Sticker like "Roll again" can't be abused, because it force you to use AP ( and if AP runs out, it won't work). Not to mention that Roll Again has way smaller chance to activate.
Multi-hit and Dual-hit are very underpowered, because you need to use AP to activate them, and then use AP twice when the move is used twice. Those need a buff.
Automation, Custom Starter and Random Starter however are broken because they can roll stuff for free, so I hope they nerf it.
I mean tbh its a single player game so I don't have an issue with it. Its fun Lol

Just put everything into damage at the start of battle that cost 0 AP, and even if you won't win instantly, you can just keep switching.
Your AP will keep going up because you never use it. I am aboslutly sure that making AP useless isn't what this game was about. ( I would even say it is an exploit that the developers of this game didn't consider ).
I think there are many interesting and more fun strategies you can use if you limit yourself to use only 1 passive sticker of the same name.

You just wiped the entire first line of enemies, and can swap your monster back in to do it again.
Figured this out when trying this combo with allseer and fungough, but the starter stickers are rolls whereas preemptive strike is guaranteed. So if you glitter them, then hit them with glass, then hit them three times with air, they'll die to resonance.
I stopped using it after I one shot a secret boss and felt really bad.

This in fact does make the game a lil boring. I’ve been using gambit+dog years to still be strong but make the game challenging
