Please do try!! There are so many things you can do with press ons you don't always have to go get your nails done!! It takes time but it is worth it once you see what you are capable of
Just tried those nails and well worth it! No longer going to the nail salon to spend $100+. The full kit for these was $45 on Amazon and it came with like 5 sets of nails
I wear natural nails with rubber base as an overlay to add structure, with gel polish on top. If I happen to break a nail (which is really rare) but if I do, I apply a clear press on, secure it with base gel, and then I apply rubber base and polish over it. Its very difficult to tell which is the false one, and it usually lasts me 2 nail cycles, I redo them every 10-14 days. I use an e file to remove old product, and reapply new rubber base and polish. As it grows out, the new rubber base fills it back down to the cuticle line, making it look nice and fresh. I so prefer rubber base to builder gel. It adheres more tightly, less lifting, and when it does lift, its in tiny spots that are easily filed down. I dont usually remove all the rubber base, I just file it down very thin so I can check for lifting.
Where do you get the rubber base? I’m wearing a gel overlay from a salon that cost me 60 bucks a month if I could just do the gel overlay on my own and do what you said I would be much happier.
I do Kiara sky nails with Mkkart nail glue on Amazon. The Kiara sky nails are perfect because they are acrylic. They regularly have sales for like $11.99 per set.
They can definitely last a mth... I do similar to what she does and they don't come off easily. I use the kiss acrylic press ons tho. I'm going to buy the nails she uses... they are beautiful and look VERY sturdy! Well done🎉🎉🎉🎉
I’m a fan of press ons. Except I stupidly went and got dip nails and the lady filed my nail beds down so much so now my nails are destroyed. I have to wait until the natural nails grow back so my nail is strong again
Amazon and BTArtbox website, i have links to both if you go to a full length video and click the description. Use code “Jaterra” if you shop with BTArt
Is it safe to cure gel on the top with the kiss glue? I heard it can cause a crazy reaction and then you become allergic to gel. Anyone else heard of this? I would love to mix both methods just scared tbh
@@JaterraBriaNaI don’t know if I’m doing it correctly. I need to protect my cuticles and the tips of my fingers. I’m still new to the diy world of nails lol I’ll try better preparation next time ❤
Do you buff the inside of the press on nail before applying the nail to your real nails? I ask because some do that and I don’t know if it makes a difference?
You can use acetone "scrubbed" in to the underside to chemically etch it or just get the gel x kind and rub it in that's what I do.. it makes a huge difference especially if your using builder gel.. they will last till you soak them off :)
If you're using those nails and not clear ones I highly suggest using a base coat and not a builder gel if you're going to do them that way instead of the nail glue. Builder gel has a longer curing time and was that not being a clear tip or full coverage now it may not cure all the way. If you find that your white French tip is not staying as long as you want it to and it's chipping try putting on a base coat or a builder in a bottle. Builder in a bottle and base coat are two different things. They actually sell a glue and a primer in a set from that same brand that works good with that nail system. They also sell the French set that gives you the Builder in a bottle I think you get two bottles you get a bottle of Builder and a bottle of top coat for $10 or $12 there are also other brands that have those same exact nails so instead of $66 they're like 10 bucks sometimes you can get them for less than that. I bought a bunch of different kinds and they are exactly the same they buy them on AliExpress or one of those websites where you have to buy a lot of them and put their name on it they're exactly the same. I've been a nail tech for 17 years I'm always looking for something that is going to make me extra money. Anyway your nails look super good like super super good they look like you got them done at a salon
@@pr3ttyyrickyy91yes they are slightly opaque I use them all the time when I do nails on my clients that want french tips. Builder gel takes a long time to cure real builder gel not builder in a bottle takes a long time to cure like three or four minutes. Builder in a bottle has lots of a curing time. Builder gel is a hard gel that needs to be taken off with a drill and you cannot soak it off that's why I said what I said I also said that they have a set that you can buy that's from them. Builder gel is a hard gel that you have to use a nail drill to get off you cannot soak it off. Builder gel can look like it's completely cured who is licensed like I am or somebody who does nails a lot you don't know the proper cure time for a builder gel.. if you're using a clear tip and you want to use builder gel which has to be drilled off with a nail drill or taken off with a nail file and you're going to be there for 20 minutes on each nail you can do that with a clear tip. I understand those tips are not totally opaque like I said I use them on my clients that want a quick French and out the door that don't usually geta lot of mail services and they just want something quick. But no a builder in a bottle and builder gel are two totally different things that's why I use the word builder gel and builder in a bottle if you go do your research ask anyone who is a licensed nail tek builder gel is not what you want to use to adhere anything to your nail because you have to drill it off builder in a bottle would work the builder gel absolutely will not work in this kind of situation

Oh ladies!! This may help you get a few more days out of your nails... All you need is 100% pure acetone and the brush you use to clean up a nail polish mistake or a Q-tip Dip either into the acetone and rub along the edge. Let it sit and repeat. It may take a few times but it melts the edge a bit bringing it more flush with your nail. It isnt perfect but it really helps a lot! I hope it helps someone ❤ . I seen a hack for the edges near the cuticles... you can rub them with acetone. Not that stuff with sent or conditioner.

How do you get the glue off without harming your natural nail???
