You walk down a hall of servers. The room is square, and long, with your only source of light being thin outlines of white reflective tape along the walls, and the blinking flashing lights of the servers. You know they hold data, information, tons and tons of it. The sound of hard drives and fans is loud, but seemingly drowned out by something louder. Somehow, you just know you can hear the sound of every server processing the terrabytes of data stored here. There's the heartbeat clock, loud wooshes of data transferred from distant CPU to CPU. The tape on the walls is not tape at all, and you see lines flicker in and out, presenting some sort of visualization. In the distance, you hear a steady stream of ticker paper being produced. You wonder what could be on it.
!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! actually these sounds where created already in the mid 50s(invention of the VCS3 for instance) and 70 s ...a load of sound ingeneers were producing such a 'conceptual' sounds..:).. For instance one famous womman from the 70s producer is Suzanne Ciani :)..amazing "futuristic" sound realised too..and maaany maany other producer..and sound ingeneers at the time..modular machines manipulation :) !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
@@niyagentleman8143 indeed these kind of sounds were being made since the 50s but we've came a long way to have this kind of compositions , this structure , and those rythmical patterns were not existent.
