Here's completely impractical showcase for teams made up of 3 of the same character. There will be more to come with more realistic combos(besides the same character appearing more than once).
Characters in order of appearance:
spencer, arthur, morrigan, ammy, hsien-ko, storm, hawkeye, sentinel, dr. strange, trish, dr. doom, nova, hulk, vergil.

The 3 assists options change some supers. Its what I first learned in Marvel 2 on dreamcast and took me years to figure out the fireball + 2 punches/kicks are the way to use single supers.

I don't know what guide you're following but you probably forgot to save it in that program that recalculates the checksum.

GCYoshi is correct. It's just planning ahead. Have the voice actors record 50 hard tag clips instead of 49 because early in development it's not yet final whether or not same character teams will be in the game in some form or not.
