Taking over charge of the Kalgidhar Trust in 1965 after his guide/ mentor Sant Teja Singh (MA. LlB, A.M. Harvard) passed away, Baba Iqbal Singh after retiring in 1987 operationalised the mission of "combining modern education with faith to produce good global citizens".
He started a 1 room school in 1986 with only 5 students which today is a chain of 129 CBSE affiliated English medium schools, 42 courses/programs, 2 private universities benefitting around 60,000 rural students. These institutions are in deep rural hearts of North India "away from urbanisation" imparting value-based education to rural marginalised children who otherwise are exposed to the menace of drugs and alcohol abuse in rural North India.
Furthering the cause of women empowerment in rural areas by setting up educational institutions dedicated to women, teachers training programs and employment centres within the villages. Today more than 2000 rural girls are being imparted free teachers training to be inducted into own schools.
With millions of beneficiaries/volunteers worldwide, Baba Iqbal Singh has been working relentlessly in the direction of imparting education in the rural marginalised areas of North India. He believes that rural children are getting pushed away from the mainstream and cannot really contribute much to the nation's growth hence the drive to "educate-enshrine-empower" these large masses is the need of the hour.
Now, above 88 years of age, he has undertaken the task of realizing the tenth master Sri Guru Gobind Singh ji's blessing of 'Guru ki Kashi' for Damdama sahib by building the Akal University 'Guru ki Kashi' at Talwandi Sabo at a huge cost of Rs. 500 crores. And his message for all is "it is the duty of every Sikh to support Guru ki Kashi with his Daswandh".
He is also vigorously working to achieve the short-term goal of 150 schools by 2013 and long term goal of 500 schools within the next decade.

I reached the love stage without saying waheguru. It is all about love how much you crave for rabb inside. THe main thing is to either get directions from a GURU or any religion you have faith in.

That's true who loves god only that person can feel him that's what Gurbani says jin prem kio sohi rabb paiyo
Its means only those who love the god only that person get the almighty lord
And in every sect whether hinduism, jainism and other sect.
Guru guidance is must (l means guidance of shri Krishan ji and Mahavir ji or saints ) is must.
Saying lords name is important so gradually our breath combine with the name of almighty lord.
So each and every breath says lord remember lords.
When someone reach the Love stage (reaching of love stage is not destination it's just a starting of journey and journey will complete only with the guidance of guru.

Waheguru ji🙏🙏 I am not sure if you received English version of this video. Baba ji is saying , main thing, that if we have prem for God then we will pray from the heart and can achieve Him. People usually pray for worldly things not to achieve God Himself ji 🙏🙏

I have not yet learned Punjabi, is there an English translation of this available? I would love very much to know what this gentleman has to say, I am new to Sikhism but am eager to immerse myself. Such a beautiful faith, I love your Gurus, I love the beauty of Gurmukhi, I'll be visiting a gurdwura next month. I wish we had one a bit more local to me as my vehicle is not always reliable.
