I love Misha's editing. Very rarely is an editor's personality so perfectly replicated through the choices they make and Misha's vids never fail at capturing his infectious sense of humor. These are so much fun to watch too. It may seem like shit editing, but there is a lot of tedious work and love put into these "shit" edits. They never fail to be hysterical. I love your work Bulb!
it would be interesting if misha or mark do something like what jake does at 1:05,, even at eyes close, hearing that segment always makes me think that it's jake's part. i love mark's chords specially! or even better do it with a yukulele
Whhhhaaaaaa??!!! What song is 1:23?!?! Ah can't find eet ohn albuhm and Ahv listened all the way through l:( I was realli louking forward to it too l:*,'(
I loved Alpha and Omega, it was just amazing and I cant wait to hear what the new album will be like. Each new release is something different and every time you guys blow my mind. I'm really hyped for this album :D
LOVING that "djent" part! I wasnt a fan until the last record. I appreciate that you have seemed to keep your amazing abilitys intact while streamlining the music a little bit at the same time. I think it makes for better songs. As you know just cause there is shredding all over doesnt make it good!
I think it's cool that you guys are doing a new album but what I'm really curious about is if there are still plans to elaborate on the story behind Juggernaut. I know it's been said you want to be comfortable with coming up with a way to present that story but I take it that might be coming after PIII.
I don't care what anyone says; though it is apparently a joke, the riff at 1:22 is fucking sick. I actually thought the first minute or so of "Borthelcash" was pretty cool too, to be honest.
Periphery III: Now It's Serious (P3NIS)
Make it happen.
Make it halpern!
I'm so sorry...
+Sjur Aanesen it's okay.
DED U THENK UF THAT URSELF
Brilliant. Just Brilliant.
+spadorade wow u must of thort of that 1 all by urslf
*How to write a periphery song*:
Step one: djent for 2 minutes
Step two: elevator music for 6 minutes
AHAHAHAHAHAHA
Mk Ultra/Hell Below
1:24 "My name is Misha and I'd like to say, there's a new PERIPHERY song coming your way!"
Dude, I could hear it in my head😂
Needs more fast cuts. I can almost see things.
+Mike Durrett noted
The little snippets of legitimate music between the adventures of these human memes really comforts me about this album being sweet as fuck.
I love Misha's editing. Very rarely is an editor's personality so perfectly replicated through the choices they make and Misha's vids never fail at capturing his infectious sense of humor.

They never fail to be hysterical. I love your work Bulb!
+Adrian Wehunt thanks pal!
I was thoroughly informed in this video about the status of the new album and am not completely confused.
priestess in wrong tuning is gold
Just over a year since Alpha/Omega was released and you guys are in the studio already? I love it. I hope it comes out this year.
2:25 - 2:35, please make it to the album. That was such a beautiful tune.
One year later and I still don't know what this is
Pascal Schneider It a remix of one of the instrumental outros (Flatline I believe?)
This a random version of the theme from Lune which also briefly appears after Absolomb
@@returntolifeband This exact electronic version exists nowhere though and it's so sad
@@krazykalle4518 lune theme. but in a different style
I expect Vigilante Coffee Jingle to be a track on the new album.
+nunovanhalen023 real coffee, from the hills of Bethesda.
+nunovanhalen023 BLACKER THAN THE BLACKEST BLACK; TIMES INFINITY!
+nunovanhalen023 You'll be awake for more than just a Black Minute!
+sofaraway731 Got any ale or Vigilante Coffee?
+Jay Black i like my coffee like my metvl
*growls* BLLLLAAACCCCCCCCCCKKKK
Jk
Fuck black metal
Seen this multiple times obviously and my favorite part is still when Mark plays "Wrong Priestess".
wish periphery would do an album of just ambient material
freaking awesome
Best ad for vigilante coffee ever.
+Hank Hill Nearly as good as Stevie T's ad for BIAS.
+Robbie Johnson lol
Scias
Cool that you saw my comment there too.
Hank Hill I saw your comment everywhere
Scias
I am everywhere on UA-cam.
Periphery's update videos: the UA-cam Poop of music
Im thinking the same thing lol
How did Jake's beard grow back within a few weeks? That's the real question here
+GuitarHeroAddict112 Probably a winning combo of coffee drinking and pot smoking
+GuitarHeroAddict112 hormones with shampoo
+GuitarHeroAddict112 He listened to Amon Amarth's new song.
+A Sloth ... which is pretty weak comparing to older AA's stuff :>
Paweł Lewandowski Agreed
It's a shame Nolly got replaced. R.I.P.
+Gavin Ryan what you talking about ? whats your source ?
+DoumdaDoum It was a joke since they were blurring his face and it said Nally.
+Gavin Ryan fuck dude don't scare me like that!
+Gavin Ryan His name is blurryface and he cares what you think
+JackAsian ha I

These studio update videos are the best part about new Periphery album times. Many more please!
You guys have the best studio updates.
Please tell me 1:45 will make it to the final cut !
+Red Sky Whisper I second this! It sounds amazing!
+Red Sky Whisper I'm sayin' bro!
+Red Sky Whisper Sounds like CHON
I was thinking the same thing when I heard it. It would be pretty awesome if Periphery entered Jazz Fusion territory a bit.
what about from 1:22 that sounds dope
2:04
Periphery III: Let's just redo Juggernaut, no one will notice
2:24 full version please. That melody is the best thing I've heard in years.
Shame the riff from 1:22 didn't make P3! It was definitely the one "riff-heavy" tune I was looking forward to.
I love how it ended up on a joke song tho
MY NAME IS MISHA AND I'D LIKE TO SAY
@@maxalaintwo3578 THERE'S A NEW PERIPHERY SONG COMIN YOUR WAY

PERIPHERY VI IN JAPAN!!! haha oh man you guys crack me up. Love y'all, so excited!!
I always just sit at my computer and chuckle at these.
JABE : GURTS
TFW 1:22 never showed up on the album :(
What about the part at 2:25?
You're gonna think I'm real weird when I say that 2:25 is actually just a funky remix of the ending of Absolomb and most of Lune.
thats what i was just thinking. i couldnt find it anywhere
The riff was written as a joke :(
I'm talking about the riff not the electronic stuff
1:45 YOO WHATS THIS... I need this chill music
Periphery studio updates: 10% actual music, 90% random video edits and inside jokes
What is that ambient piece at 1:05? Sounds lovely!
Guys. The song at 1:45 was one of the things I was looking forward to but i didn't hear it in the album. 😭😭😭
Same
Saaaame
"Are you ready??"
"No....
okay...
wait I'm in tuner mode"
This left me with zero expectations for the album.
Well played Studio Update...well played.
I really appreciate the Final Fantasy reference
The riff at 2:02 sounds really sweet, hope it will be on the new album
+Dennis Mårtensson That song is from Juggernaut:Omega. The song is called Priestess.
+Adwait Spinoza i thought it was Priestess, yeah its an out of tune version of the acoustic guitar bit
1:22 OMG ! That riff
the irony of the song that it ended up being on
it would be interesting if misha or mark do something like what jake does at 1:05,, even at eyes close, hearing that segment always makes me think that it's jake's part. i love mark's chords specially! or even better do it with a yukulele
1:05 - 1:21 where is this on Select Difficulty? Thanks :)
Periphery playing over the Guardian Down screen is like actual footage from my life.
Coffee and Destiny. Pure Love
Nice, I was thinking it would be another year or so. Excited again!!!
@1:05 what is the name of the piece? It sounds so good :D
Please Misha, release the song from 2:24, it is awesome.

Can't wait!! When can I preorder Periphery VI in Japan??????
Hahaha man everyone wants the 1:23 riff. Come on periphery even though it was a joke at least give us something with that tasty ass riff!!
Misha had a little too much fun with the editing of this video...xD
you know its Misha when things are blurry or text is misspelled on purpose! its like a signature editing for new albums! lol I love it!
glad to see. you guys included tavastia gig poster bottom of the vigilante
What is the song at 1:21??? I didn't hear it at all on the final release! That riff is so good! Where is it?!?
Looking forward to it! You guys never disappoint. Saludos desde Argentina!
What's the music at 2:25? I LOVE the vibe. Reminds me of Trauma Center. ^^
Was the riff Mark plays at 1:22 on the album? I don't think I heard it.
holy shit! I missed these videos, guys. I hope more are in the way D:
2:25 I'm in love with that tune now. Is it a demo? Cuz shit's good.

I'm pretty sure that's "The Fast Ones" at 1:57
Wait, it's called periphery 4 in japan? you realize that you're creating a snes final fantasy situation now?
+Zachary Harden VI = 6
+Misha Mansoor shit I'm dumb lol. so yeah, it's exactly the snes final fantasy situation.
you could have ignored it. but no you had to prove your intelligence over zach. typical.
Is this comment the reason that there is Final Fantasy-inspired merch up on the stores for pre-order haha?

It says "Studio Update" but all I got is an Update on Names for the members. Lol Marl Jabe Nally
1:23 this didn't make it to the album. :(
0:37 When the drums start, the first thing i thought of was Chino yelling "two different types"
2:24 What is that? If that's from you, I hope it's on the album!
Damn... I can't remember where I heard the music at 2:26
That Final Fantasy reference. Cant wait for this.
1:24 is it exist on the new album?
My question is what ever happened to the much heavier riff that Mark was playing. it sounded epic and was wondering why it didn't make the final cut
Misha how can we buy your amazing orchestral video game-esque compositions!!!!!!!
I think it's cool that you guys are doing a new album but what I'm really curious about is if there are still plans to elaborate on the story behind Juggernaut. 2:35 is far more entertaining than it should be.
will you be doing drum updates or a juggerdoc type thing
may the bliss come now
They really buckled down and took their studio time very seriously. No wonder the album came out so fucking good.
So sick
1:45 sounds so good!
I can't wait for Periphery 4: Skin
tabs for @1:47? Lovely tunes!
The informative quality of this update highly exceeded my expectations!
And playing Priestess doesn't count as PIII.
Please put all the badass stuff from bulb's soundclick page that didn't make juggernaut on this album. The best track was from the bulb page.
1:23 didn't make it!!!! :(((((((
kienan that riff is actually from Sithu Aye song called Transient Transistors
@shafiq
nope its just a familiar djent riff
