Damn they getting the bread from New Orleans that’s why it looks good !!! People think it’s what goes on a Po-Boy that makes it but it’s definitely the bread that makes it a Po-Boy
THIS is the FIRST video of an outside of New Orleans that makes their poboys with REAL French bread which is Lidenheimer, the most popular bread from New Orleans. All others use hoagie type bread and call the sandwich a "poboy", but that's not "authentic" as yours is! 👍
Not the most authentic po' boy but damn fantastic looking indeed. 👍 On my top 25 all-time favorite sandwich list, a Po' Boy is ranked at the very top. Number 1, baby! Love 'em. Tried a half dozen po' boys from the most iconic shops in NOLA on a couple of different visits. Hard to beat. That said, I think they definitely can be replicated around the country.
Thanks Steve. After seeing the restaurant on Ventura I searched their Yelp and found your review and now I'm headed there today because you made my desire my creole cuisine. Bon Appetite. Good work!!
That was a generous portion of shrimp!... the first time I heard of a po boy sandwich was on triple D...and it looked really good. I find that the valley often gets overlooked for good cuisine but I'm glad you also cover the valley for food.
Yes, they serve beer and wine and cocktail here! It's a great restaurant all around. Hope you like it. Please continue to follow my channel to see other great food videos this year!
Hi Steve, thanks for taking us on a virtual tour. You really are teasing us all the way from New Zealand! We really are so keen to travel and try some good food in Los Angeles. We haven't tried New Orleans food before! Virtual yummm

Hey buddy, like you I haven't had many po boy sandwiches. But I remember waiting in anticipation for a place in Chinatown LA . "Little Jewel Of New Orleans" I will give the place you recommended a try especially because the crew I work with are always looking for some place to eat. But give the place I mentioned a try 👍
Do you like shrimp or oyster po ' boys?

Big sandwich doesn’t always mean it’s the best! Guarantee this “po boy” is nothing compared to N.O.!!
I’ve had Fat Tuesday before. There is also a place called Little Jewel.

It was great!
Rockstar Eater I bet it was!
It looks like there is a bar in the background and they do serve beer, do you need to be over 21 years of age to enter and enjoy some food?
