- Since the promulgation of Guyana’s Local Content Law in December 2021, citizens have benefitted from employment opportunities across 40 categories of work.
In fact, many have acknowledged that the law has been a strategic tool in trapping more oil revenue in-country as well as ensuring capacity building.
While this may be the case, prominent businessman and Director of the Vreed-en-Hoop Shore Base (VESH), Nicholas Deygoo-Boyer strongly believes that Guyanese are more than ready to tackle more work within the oil and gas landscape.
