The women preparing the spices really nails it down! They would not have known in advance, Jesus would have been killed Wednesday and by the time he died, they would not have time to prepare anything. Doing the work of preparing burial spices on a sabbath, let alone a High sabbath (Passover) would have been unthinkable! Friday, the day of preparation is the only time they had to do that work. Then, resting on the weekly sabbath, they waited until after that sabbath passed and then on the first day of the week, they came and found the empty tomb where our risen Lord had been. Praise God!!!!

      1) Why then did the women not go to the tomb on Friday? Were they prepariing spices all day on Friday?By the way they could have prepared the spices on the First Day of Unleavened Day. Only "servile work"( work you are paid for). So there would be nothing wrong in honouring their Master in this day.

Read 2Chron.10:5,12; Esther 4:15, 5:1; Gen.40:19-21. That defines third day. How can you assert that third day means fourth day? Where are the scriptures that say the third day is the fourth day?

The tomb was sealed and guarded from the 15th to the morning of the 18th.

Three days and three nights vs.
The third day, In three days,
      After three days:
      Jonah 1:17 KJV -
Now the LORD had prepared a great fish to swallow up Jonah. And Jonah was in the belly of the fish three days and three nights.
      Matthew 12:40 KJV -
For as Jonas was three days and three nights in the whale's belly; so shall the Son of man be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth.
      Both verses describe an entombment:
Jonah entombed inside the whale, and Jesus entombed inside the tomb (the heart of the earth is inside the earth; a tomb is inside the earth).
Three days and three nights is The Sign that Jesus is The Messiah (The Christ, The Anointed).
Three days and three nights is 72 hours.
One day can be 12 hours; but when you have 3 days, you can't have nights missing. A full day has 24 hours:
      John 11:9 KJV -
Jesus answered, Are there not twelve hours in the day? If any man walk in the day, he stumbleth not, because he seeth the light of this world.
      John 11:10 KJV -
But if a man walk in the night, he stumbleth, because there is no light in him.
Jesus makes the distinction between 2 different periods of 12 hours each, day and night.
Jesus knows that a day has 24 hours.
He should, because he created Time.
Jesus accomplished 72 hours in the grave/tomb, therefore he is The Messiah (The Christ, The Anointed).
Jesus was buried on nisan 14 Wednesday just before sundown, and he rose from the dead on nisan 17 Saturday just before sundown.
      A Friday-to-Sunday burial would be 36 hours, or 1 1/2 days.
      A Thursday-to-Sunday burial would be 60 hours, or 2 1/2 days.
Three Days and Three Nights is The Sign: 72 hours.
All 3 of the following expressions also mean 72 hours:
      The Third day.
      In Three Days.
      After Three Days.
Let's start with The Third Day:
      Genesis 1:5 KJV -
And God called the light Day, and the darkness he called Night. And the evening and the morning were the first day.
      Genesis 1:8 KJV -
And God called the firmament Heaven. And the evening and the morning were the second day.
      Genesis 1:13 KJV -
And the evening and the morning were the third day.
The first 3 days of The Creation were 72 hours: 3 days and 3 nights, just like Matthew 12:40 KJV is 72 hours, 3 days and 3 nights. The Third Day is also 72 hours.
The next expression is In Three Days:
      Matthew 26:59 KJV -
      Now the chief priests, and elders, and all the council, sought false witness against Jesus, to put him to death;
      Matthew 26:60 KJV -
But found none: yea, though many false witnesses came, yet found they none. At the last came two false witnesses,
      Matthew 26:61 KJV -
And said, This fellow said, I am able to destroy the temple of God, and to build it in three days.
This passage with In Three Days is a public reference to John chapter 2.
Jesus cleansed the temple, and the Jews asked for a Sign:
      John 2:18 KJV -
Then answered the Jews and said unto him, What sign shewest thou unto us, seeing that thou doest these things?
      John 2:19 KJV -
Jesus answered and said unto them, Destroy this temple, and in three days I will raise it up.
      John 2:20 KJV -
Then said the Jews, Forty and six years was this temple in building, and wilt thou rear it up in three days?
      John 2:21 KJV -
But he spake of the temple of his body.
The 2 witnesses were false witnesses because they said that Jesus said that Jesus himself is able to destroy the temple of God and to build it in three days.
Jesus never said that he is able to destroy the temple of God (Herod's temple) and to build it in three days.
Jesus said, (You) destroy this temple, and in three days I will raise it up.
He was talking about his own physical body.
Jesus was secretly saying that when he is killed, he will resurrect In Three Days, matching Matthew 12:40 KJV, where he says that he will be in the grave Three Days and Three Nights, 72 hours. In Three Days is also 72 hours.
Now the expression After Three Days:
      Matthew 27:62 KJV -
Now the next day, that followed the day of the preparation, the chief priests and Pharisees came together unto Pilate,
      Matthew 27:63 KJV -
Saying, Sir, we remember that that deceiver said, while he was yet alive, After three days I will rise again.
The After Three Days is a public reference to Matthew12:40 KJV:
      Matthew 12:40 KJV -
For as Jonas was three days and three nights in the whale's belly; so shall the Son of man be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth.
Jesus also privately used the expression After Three Days:
      Mark 8:31 KJV -
And he began to teach them, that the Son of man must suffer many things, and be rejected of the elders, and of the chief priests, and scribes, and be killed, and after three days rise again.
Whether it's the leaders publicly hearing Jesus, or Jesus privately speaking to the apostles, all understand that After Three Days is also 72 hours (upon the completion of 72 hours), which is the same as Three Days and Three Nights.
For context, here is Matthew 12:38-40
      The Sign of Jonah:
      Matthew 12:38 KJV -
Then certain of the scribes and of the Pharisees answered, saying, Master, we would see a sign from thee.
      Matthew 12:39 KJV -
But he answered and said unto them, An evil and adulterous generation seeketh after a sign; and there shall no sign be given to it, but the sign of the prophet Jonas:
      Matthew 12:40 KJV -
For as Jonas was three days and three nights in the whale's belly; so shall the Son of man be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth.
The Sign of Jonah is according to the scriptures:
      The Gospel of Jesus Christ:
      1 Corinthians 15:1 KJV -
      Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand;
      1 Corinthians 15:2 KJV -
By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain.
      1 Corinthians 15:3 KJV -
      For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures;
      1 Corinthians 15:4 KJV -
And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:
Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; and he was buried, and rose again the third day according to the scriptures.
The Third Day once again is 72 hours:
      3 days and 3 nights.
Paul is declaring The True Gospel of Jesus Christ, which was revealed directly by Jesus Christ to Paul, stating that Jesus Christ died for the elect sheep's sins, according to the scriptures; and that Jesus Christ was buried, and rose again the third day according to the scriptures.
We must search out The Scriptures.
If it's not according to The Scriptures, it's not even The Gospel of Jesus Christ.
There are many false gospels, anti-gospels.
      A Thursday-to-Sunday burial is a false gospel.
      A Friday-to-Sunday burial is a false gospel.
      2 Peter 1:21 KJV -
For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost.
      2 Peter 1:20 KJV -
Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation.
A Thursday or a Friday burial are private interpretations, and not according to The Scriptures.
But a Wednesday burial and a Saturday Resurrection is According to The Scriptures:
      The Gospel of Jesus Christ:
      The Word of God,
      as found in
      The Holy Bible -
      King James Version -
      KJV.
      Matthew 24:35 KJV -
Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away.
      Acts 17:10 KJV -
And the brethren immediately sent away Paul and Silas by night unto Berea: who coming thither went into the synagogue of the Jews.
      Acts 17:11 KJV -
These were more noble than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all readiness of mind, and searched the scriptures daily, whether those things were so.
      Search The Scriptures for yourself.
      And may truth be told!
      God bless!

Thank you and God Bless you for your Biblical work of putting the details of these Holy Scriptures together to make perfect sense of the three days and three nights. I knew of the Greek plural for Sabbaths, but couldn't understand the timing. I appreciate this clear teaching on a subject that is rarely discussed because of its complexity. It is important to have a true understanding of this subject so it is not a stumbling block to a new believer in Christ Jesus. Thank you.

Does The Holy Bible say that Jesus was crucified on Friday and resurrected on Sunday?
      The simple answer is no.
The Bible says that on the first day of the week the women found an empty tomb:
      He is risen:
      Matthew 28:6 KJV -
He is not here: for he is risen, as he said. Come, see the place where the Lord lay.
      Mark 16:6 KJV -
And he saith unto them, Be not affrighted: Ye seek Jesus of Nazareth, which was crucified: he is risen; he is not here: behold the place where they laid him.
      Luke 24:1 KJV -
Now upon the first day of the week, very early in the morning, they came unto the sepulchre, bringing the spices which they had prepared, and certain others with them.
      Luke 24:2 KJV -
And they found the stone rolled away from the sepulchre.
      Luke 24:3 KJV -
And they entered in, and found not the body of the Lord Jesus.
      Luke 24:6 KJV -
He is not here, but is risen: remember how he spake unto you when he was yet in Galilee,
      Was risen:
      Mark 16:9 KJV -
Now when Jesus was risen early the first day of the week, he appeared first to Mary Magdalene, out of whom he had cast seven devils.
Mark 16:9 KJV may be one of the most misunderstood verses of the Bible.
No matter where you want to place the comma, you are always left with this absolute fact: Jesus WAS RISEN:
      he was alive.
It doesn't say that he rose early the first day of the week; it says that he was risen (was alive) early the first day of the week, not necessarily the day he rose from the dead.
On the actual day that he rises from the dead, and at the exact time he rises from the dead, at that exact moment he rises from the dead, he is alive: he is risen.
Every one knows that Jesus was crucified on the Passover day, which is nisan 14, making the next day a sabbath nisan 15.
Does nisan 14 Passover have to land on Friday in any given year?
Does the fourth of July land on Friday every year?
Does Christmas day and New Year's day land on Friday every year?
A calendar date is a set number, which can land on any day of the week in any given year.
Before attempting to discredit a researcher seeking the truth of The Holy Bible, it is important to first study The Holy Bible for yourself, not taking at face value what people say, but prove all things according to God's Holy Scripture.
      Matthew 15:18 KJV -
But those things which proceed out of the mouth come forth from the heart; and they defile the man.
1 Thessalonians 5:21 KJV - Prove all things; hold fast that which is good.
2 Corinthians 13:5 KJV - Examine yourselves, whether ye be in the faith; prove your own selves. Know ye not your own selves, how that Jesus Christ is in you, except ye be reprobates?
      Hebrews 5:12 KJV -
For when for the time ye ought to be teachers, ye have need that one teach you again which be the first principles of the oracles of God; and are become such as have need of milk, and not of strong meat.
      Hebrews 5:13 KJV -
For every one that useth milk is unskilful in the word of righteousness: for he is a babe.
      Hebrews 5:14 KJV -
But strong meat belongeth to them that are of full age, even those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil.
It's important to pray to God for understanding, and to study for yourself The Holy Bible - King James Version - KJV. Study to learn what God says, not to debate God.
      2 Peter 1:20 KJV -
Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation.
Consider that a Friday crucifixion may be a private interpretation. Study KJV to know what God says.
Study Exodus 12 and Leviticus 23, in order to learn about the institution and ordinances of the Passover and the other feasts.
Use KJV, which is the Textus Receptus, the same scriptures used by the apostles in the First Century, instead of using hundreds of useless New Age Bibles, which are wolves in sheep's clothing, false teachers.
Unfortunately many people rely solely on others, including their pastor, to tell them what the Bible says. But the only way to know the truth is to study The Holy Bible, with a heart for God, so that he can give you discernment and understanding.
The gospel, God's word, is not about feelings; it's about logic and reason.
When we first read the Bible, we think we know more than we know; but as God increases your knowledge and understanding, your discernment light turns on, and you start to see things more clearly.
Proofs for a Wednesday to Saturday burial:
Upon careful study, you will see that a day has 2 periods of 12 hours each, for a total of 24 hours. And that 3 days equal 72 hours: Christ was buried 72 hours.
      John 11:9 KJV -
Jesus answered, Are there not twelve hours in the day? If any man walk in the day, he stumbleth not, because he seeth the light of this world.
      John 11:10 KJV -
But if a man walk in the night, he stumbleth, because there is no light in him.
He was buried on Passover nisan 14 Wednesday just before sundown, and he rose on nisan 17 Saturday just before sundown, the day of Salvation.
Nisan 17, the day of Salvation, is also the same day Noah's Ark rested upon the mountains of Ararat (Genesis 8:4 KJV).
Genesis 8:4 KJV - And the ark rested in the seventh month, on the seventeenth day of the month, upon the mountains of Ararat.
Jesus rose on the 17th day of the first month (nisan on feast calendar).
And the Ark rested on the 17th day of the seventh month (nisan on civil calendar)
No matter which of the 2 calendars you use, nisan 17 always lands in March/April.
Nisan 17 is the day of Salvation. That is not coincidence; it is the plan of salvation of a powerful, loving God.
Mark 16:9 KJV was already explained above.
      Jesus WAS RISEN.
He was alive on Sunday, but he rose the day before: Saturday. After all, he is Lord of the Sabbath.
The women and the spices also prove a Wednesday to Saturday burial. The only business day in which to buy spices was Friday, if you have a Wednesday burial, and an annual feast sabbath Thursday, and a business day Friday to buy spices, and a weekly Saturday sabbath Resurrection.
If a Saturday Resurrection, why then did Jesus speak to Mary Magdalene when she arrived at the tomb the second time?
      Leviticus 23:9 KJV -
And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,
      Leviticus 23:10 KJV -
Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, When ye be come into the land which I give unto you, and shall reap the harvest thereof, then ye shall bring a sheaf of the firstfruits of your harvest unto the priest:
      Leviticus 23:11 KJV -
And he shall wave the sheaf before the LORD, to be accepted for you: on the morrow after the sabbath the priest shall wave it.
Jesus, shortly after he sent away Mary Magdalene, Jesus performed Firstfruits (Leviticus 23:9-11 KJV).
He as priest was waving himself as the sheaf of the firstfruits of the harvest (the harvest is the Second Coming).
Firstfruits must be presented to the priest and the priest waves the sheaf to God, on the morrow after the sabbath: the day after the sabbath, which is Sunday.
A Sunday resurrection prohibits Jesus from waving the firstfruits on that same Sunday, because a sabbath must pass. He would have to wave the sheaf Sunday a week later.
But since he waved firstfruits on that first Sunday, that is absolute proof that he rose on Saturday, making firstfruits lawful the next day, Sunday; not resurrection Sunday, but instead firstfruits Sunday.
      1 Corinthians 15:20 KJV -
But now is Christ risen from the dead, and become the firstfruits of them that slept.
      1 Corinthians 15:23 KJV -
But every man in his own order: Christ the firstfruits; afterward they that are Christ's at his coming.
      Hebrews 9:28 KJV -
So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation.
      John 6:37 KJV -
All that the Father giveth me shall come to me; and him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out.
      John 10:26 KJV -
But ye believe not, because ye are not of my sheep, as I said unto you.
As you continue your studies, you may find the truth of the CruciFIXION, instead of a cruciFICTION:
In the year of the CruciFIXION,
      Palm Sunday never happened.
      Good Friday never happened.
      Easter Sunday never happened.
In the year of the CruciFIXION, this is what happened:
      Timeline of Crucifixion week:
      Nisan 8 Thursday:
Jesus dines with Lazarus and his sisters (six days before the Passover, Nisan 14).
      Nisan 9 Friday:
Palm Friday (Jesus rides into Jerusalem in Judgment).
      Nisan 10 Saturday:
Palm Saturday (Jesus rides into Jerusalem in Blessing: the Lamb is chosen on Nisan 10).
      Nisan 14 Wednesday
Jesus dies (the Lamb is killed on Nisan 14); he was buried just before sundown, as Thursday was about to begin.
      Nisan 15 Thursday:
(the high sabbath, plus the sealing of the tomb).
      Nisan 16 Friday:
The women buy and prepare spices.
      Nisan 17 Saturday:
Jesus rose from the dead, just before sundown, as Sunday was about to begin.
      Nisan 18 Sunday:
      Firstfruits.
Would the world lie to you?
Man is complicated, but God is simple:
      2 Corinthians 11:3 KJV -
But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve through his subtilty, so your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ.
      God bless!

      Matthew 26:59 KJV -
      Now the chief priests, and elders, and all the council, sought false witness against Jesus, to put him to death;
      1 Corinthians 15:1 KJV -
      Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand;
      1 Corinthians 15:2 KJV -
By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain.
      1 Corinthians 15:3 KJV -
      For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures;
      God bless!

"But we ought always to thank God for you, brothers loved by the Lord, because from the beginning God chose you to be saved through the sanctifying work of the Spirit and through belief in the truth." 2nd Thess 2:13. The "truth" that we believe matters, as the quoted Scripture clearly indicates. I thank God for pastors and teachers like you, who are committed to teaching the "truth."

    Firstfruits: Jesus offered himself as the firstfruits of the harvest, on the morrow after the sabbath; the morrow after the sabbath (Saturday) is the next day (Sunday);
If Jesus rose on Sunday, he could not offer himself as firstfruits on that same Sunday, as firstfruits are offered after the sabbath (Saturday); he would have to wait a full week, for Saturday to pass, and offer himself on the next day: Sunday Nisan 25.
Jesus is the firstfruits of the harvest.
The harvest is the Second Coming of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.
    God bless!

Thank you for your teaching, my dear brother in Christ. I first learned about the Wednesday crucifixion from you a couple of years ago, and I'm very thankful. I did additional research on that subject and I know that we don't have to assume the extra Sabbath rest day because Mark 16:1 tells us that "when the Sabbath was past", the women BOUGHT the spices.
Then in Luke 23:56 "they returned and prepared the spices and fragrant oils, "then the rested on the Sabbath"....
So it actually tells us in the Bible that there are two Sabbaths based on these 2 verses.
God bless you for your ministry🙏

      Spice timeline
      Mark 16:1 KJV -
And when the sabbath was past, Mary Magdalene, and Mary the mother of James, and Salome, had bought sweet spices, that they might come and anoint him.
      Luke 23:56 KJV -
And they returned, and prepared spices and ointments; and rested the sabbath day according to the commandment.
      Luke 24:1 KJV -
Now upon the first day of the week, very early in the morning, they came unto the sepulchre, bringing the spices which they had prepared, and certain others with them.
Mark 16:1 KJV says that the women HAD BOUGHT spices.
Also, the expression when the sabbath was past: that means Sunday, when they went to the tomb. Being Sunday, the expression HAD BOUGHT is referring to Friday, the business day in which they bought spices.
Luke 23:56 says that the women returned and prepared spices.
On passover Wednesday, they did not have time to buy spices. No one knew that Jesus would die on Wednesday; those scriptures were brought to their remembrance only after the Resurrection. They returned from the funeral on Wednesday shortly after sundown (already Jewish Thursday, a high annual feast sabbath). They rested on this Thursday sabbath. The following day, Friday a business day, they bought and prepared spices.
They rested on the Saturday weekly sabbath.
They went to the tomb on Sunday, carrying prepared spices.
The tomb was sealed and guarded from Jewish Thursday till Sunday:
      Luke 24:21 KJV -
But we trusted that it had been he which should have redeemed Israel: and beside all this, to day is the third day since these things were done.
      God bless!

    The Spice Test:
No one knew Jesus would die, or that he would die that Wednesday.
Jesus had said he would be killed, but the Scriptures were closed; and it was brought to the remembrance of both the women and the apostles, following the Resurrection.
The women followed Jesus throughout the events of Wednesday, therefore having no time to buy and prepare spices on Wednesday.
The tomb was sealed from Thursday to Sunday, by armed guards.
    Thursday was a feast sabbath.
Friday was the actual day the women bought and prepared spices.
    Saturday was a weekly sabbath.
Sunday the women made their way to an empty tomb.
If the death had been on a Friday, there would not be time to buy and prepare spices on Friday.
Saturday would be a double sabbath: both a feast sabbath, and a weekly sabbath.
Sunday would be the first day to visit the tomb; but they still had to first buy and prepare spices.
If the death had been on a Thursday, there would not be time to buy and prepare spices on Thursday.
That would make the next day, Friday, a feast sabbath.
Saturday would be a weekly sabbath.
Sunday would be the first day to visit the tomb; but they still had to first buy and prepare spices.
The Friday and Thursday burial scenarios don't pass the spice test.
    God bless!

Excellent presentation, with one exception; the day does not start at sunset. The Biblical day starts at sunrise. Starting the weekly day at the beginning of darkness is a tradition established by the "brood of vipers" Christ so named.

    Three Days and Three Nights
in the heart of the earth:
Jesus, giving the sign of the Messiah, makes a parallel to Jonah being emtombed in the whale's belly, so would Jesus be entombed (in a tomb), just like Jonah, for three days and three nights: 72 hours: three full days. A full day has 24 hours.
All the other expressions qualify as 72 hours:
    In three days
    The third day
    After three days
After three days means upon the completion of three days.
All four expressions correctly identify the passing of 72 hours. If the burial starts just before sundown on nisan 14, and the Resurrection is just before sundown on nisan 17, this correctly identifies the passing of 72 hours.
In regard to the burial, the passing of 72 hours is not from sundown to sundown.
The passing of 72 hours is from just before sundown, to just before sundown.
For those who say that we must use only the Jewish calendar, and not the gentile calendar, remember that the sabbath is the seventh day of the week.
The seventh day of the week is Saturday.
If Saturday is the seventh day of the week, then the first day of the week is Sunday.
There's no problem in using both the Jewish and the gentile calendars to explain the Crucifixion and the Resurrection.
Even if you don't want to use the gentile calendar, you can still discern that Jesus Christ was buried on nisan 14 (the fourth day of the week), and resurrected on nisan 17 (the seventh day of the week: the sabbath). And the next day, the women visiting the empty tomb, would be nisan 18 (the first day of the week), also the day of the firstfruits.
Jesus was buried/entombed just before sundown on Passover nisan 14, a Wednesday. And he rose just before sundown on nisan 17, a Saturday, for a total burial time of 72 hours. And he as priest waved himself as the firstfruits on Sunday morning, when the tomb was empty, because Jesus was risen (was alive), because he rose the day before, just before sundown (on the weekly Saturday sabbath).
Mark 16:9 is not what people think. Was risen means was alive (alive since nisan 17 Saturday just before sundown); and early the first day of the week (Sunday morning) is when he first appeared to Mary Magdalene.
Jesus is the firstfruits of the Harvest. The harvest is the Second Coming. See Leviticus 23:9-11 for an explanation of firstfruits.
You will see that firstfruits must be presented to the priest before the first day of the week (before Sunday), and firstfruits must be waved on the first day of the week (the morrow/day after the sabbath).
If Jesus had risen on Sunday, he could not be presented and waved on that same Sunday.
He would have to wait for the sabbath to pass.
Jesus, as firstfruits, was presented on Saturday, and waved on Sunday, when he ascended to the Father shortly after encountering Mary Magdalene.
Jesus is the firstfruits of the harvest. The harvest is the Second Coming.
What happened to Jesus (the Resurrection) at his First Coming is what shall happen to the elect (the good seed) at the Second Coming, when we inherit eternal bodies, and have eternal fellowship with God for ever.
1 Corinthians 15:20 KJV - But now is Christ risen from the dead, and become the firstfruits of them that slept.
1 Corinthians 15:23 KJV - But every man in his own order: Christ the firstfruits; afterward they that are Christ's at his coming.
Jesus died on Passover nisan 14, the day before nisan 15 the feast sabbath (a high day), not the weekly Saturday sabbath. There were two sabbath days: Thursday nisan 15, and the weekly Saturday sabbath nisan 17.
The passover meal (the last supper) started on Tuesday at sundown, which is the beginning of nisan 14. And Jesus was buried just before sundown on Wednesday, also on nisan 14, towards the end of nisan 14.
Thursday Nisan 14 and 15 can land on any day of the week, just like the 4th of July.
A Wednesday Crucifixion, death, and burial is the only timeline that fits. Any other timeline runs into problems.
Remembering that Jesus died on nisan 14, and the next day was a sabbath, let's see if the weekly Saturday sabbath alone satisfies the scenario where the women need one business day to buy and prepare the spices:
If Christ was buried on Friday (14), then Saturday (15) would be both the feast sabbath as well as the weekly sabbath. The next day being Sunday (16), the women would not have a business day in which to buy and prepare the spices.
If Christ was buried on Thursday (14), then Friday (15) would be the feast sabbath, and Saturday(16) would be the weekly sabbath. The next day being Sunday (17). The women would not have a business day in which to buy and prepare the spices.
See the problem? Neither Thursday nor Friday satisfies needing a business day to buy and prepare the spices.
That only leaves Wednesday (14) as the day of burial; then the next day is Thursday (15) the feast sabbath. Then Friday (16) the women have a business day in which to buy and prepare the spices. The next day, Saturday (17) Jesus resurrects from the dead.
Jesus was in the grave 72 hours, from just before sunset on Wednesday nisan 14, till just before sunset on Saturday nisan 17.
Nisan 17 is the day of Salvation: Jesus rose on the same day and month that Noah's Ark rested upon the mountains of Ararat (Genesis 8:4).
The Ark rested on the 17th day of the seventh month, and Jesus rose on the 17th day of the first month.
Nisan is the 7th month of the civil calendar, and nisan is the first month of the feast calendar. The date of these two calendars is the same, happening in March or April. God's plan of Salvation is beyond coincidence!
    God's name is I AM
Isaiah 42:8 KJV - I am the LORD: that is my name: and my glory will I not give to another, neither my praise to graven images.
Psalm 111:9 KJV - He sent redemption unto his people: he hath commanded his covenant for ever: holy and reverend is his name.
Psalm 138:2 KJV - I will worship toward thy holy temple, and praise thy name for thy lovingkindness and for thy truth: for thou hast magnified thy word above all thy name.
God places an extremely high value on his word. What God says matters. And he means what he says.
For those who will say that Luke 24:21 proves a Thursday Crucifixion, reconsider, because, in that regard, Sunday is the third day since the sealing and guarding of the tomb, not the third day since the Crucifixion.
Luke 24:21 KJV - But we trusted that it had been he which should have redeemed Israel: and beside all this, to day is the third day since these things were done.
The women had no time to buy and prepare spices on nisan 14 (Wednesday), and no one knew that Jesus was going to die. Jesus had prophesied his death, but he closed the scriptures; and only after he rose were the scriptures opened and brought to the remembrance of his followers.

    Matthew 26:59 KJV -
    Now the chief priests, and elders, and all the council, sought false witness against Jesus, to put him to death;
    1 Corinthians 15:1 KJV -
    Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand;
    1 Corinthians 15:2 KJV -
By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain.
    1 Corinthians 15:3 KJV -
    For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures;
    1 Corinthians 15:4 KJV -
And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:
Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; and he was buried, and rose again the third day according to the scriptures.

      Matthew 26:59 KJV -
      Now the chief priests, and elders, and all the council, sought false witness against Jesus, to put him to death;
      1 Corinthians 15:1 KJV -
      Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand;
      1 Corinthians 15:2 KJV -
By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain.
      1 Corinthians 15:3 KJV -
      For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures;
      1 Corinthians 15:4 KJV -
And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:
Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; and he was buried, and rose again the third day according to the scriptures.
The Third Day once again is 72 hours:

The "third day" is clearly demonstrated in the scriptures: Gen.40:19-21; Esther4:15, 5:1; 2Chron.10:5, 12. The " third day can therefore not be a full 24 hour day. It is not a full day. Jesus never talked "hours". He talked "days". To talk about 72 hours is adding to and wresting Jesus' words. Jesus rose on the third day after being in the grave for three days and three nights as He predicted. But the third day was not a complete day.
Jesus entered Jerusalem on Sunday 10 Nisan, four days before Passover. That would indicate a Thursday.
In Mark16:9 we know Jesus rose on Sunday morning on the " third day"( Luke24:21), as He had consistantly stated for more than 20 times.
So the truth is that Jesus was buried at sunset on Thursday and rose very early on Sunday morning.
We only have to count three days and three nights from Sunday, and we get to Thursday. You are confusing your listeners to talk about a " third day" being a " fourth day"!

Please do not misrepresent Luke by saying he was not chronological. No, he was a very meticulous and careful recorder of events. Where didyou get the authority to correct him when he records that the women returned AND prepared spices on that very day? Are you making an undcriptural assumption , wresting Luke23:55-56 to suppoft your incorrect proposition?

      God bless!

      Daniel's 70 weeks prophecy:
      Jesus Christ's First Coming
Towards the end of the 70-year captivity of the Jews in Babylon, Daniel the prophet prayed for his sin and the sin of his people. Daniel was of the tribe of Judah.
Even before Daniel finished this prayer, the angel Gabriel visited Daniel to reveal this prophecy, known as Daniel's 70 weeks prophecy:
      Daniel 9:24 KJV -
Seventy weeks are determined upon thy people and upon thy holy city, to finish the transgression, and to make an end of sins, and to make reconciliation for iniquity, and to bring in everlasting righteousness, and to seal up the vision and prophecy, and to anoint the most Holy.
Daniel 9:25 KJV - Know therefore and understand, that from the going forth of the commandment to restore and to build Jerusalem unto the Messiah the Prince shall be seven weeks, and threescore and two weeks: the street shall be built again, and the wall, even in troublous times.
Daniel 9:26 KJV - And after threescore and two weeks shall Messiah be cut off, but not for himself: and the people of the prince that shall come shall destroy the city and the sanctuary; and the end thereof shall be with a flood, and unto the end of the war desolations are determined.
Daniel 9:27 KJV - And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate.
Seventy weeks are 70 seven-year periods, which is 490 years. A prophetic day is equivalent to a year (Numbers 14:34 and Ezekiel 4:6), a day for a year. Each prophetic week is 7 years.
This is a prophecy for the Jews and for Jerusalem: thy people and thy holy city. During these 490 years, the Messiah would be anointed: the baptism of Jesus by the Holy Ghost.
From the decree of a king of the Medo-Persian empire, for the Jews to restore and to build Jerusalem, until Messiah the Prince it is 483 years, which is 7 weeks (49 years) plus 62 weeks (434 years).
The Jews were set free from their 70 years of captivity, and encouraged to restore their goverment and build the wall of Jerusalem, and their houses, and the second temple (the first temple, King Solomon's temple, had been destroyed by Nebuchadnezzar King of Babylon).
The second temple was built during the first prophetic period of 7 weeks (49 years):
      John 2:20 KJV -
Then said the Jews, Forty and six years was this temple in building, and wilt thou rear it up in three days?
Threescore and two weeks is 62 weeks (434 years), which is known as the time between the end of the Old Testament, and the beginning of the New Testament.
The Messiah would be cut off (killed) after the passing of 62 weeks (434 years). In other words, he would be killed after 7 weeks (49 years) plus 62 weeks (434 years), which is 69 weeks (483 years). Jesus Christ would die during the last week (7 years) of the 490 years.
The people of the prince that shall come is Prince Titus and his Roman army, which would destroy the city of Jerusalem and the second temple in A.D. 70.
And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week (7 years): this was the 7-year Ministry of Our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.
The passage of 7 weeks plus 62 weeks = 69 weeks (483 years) marked the beginning of the last week (7 years), the 7-year Ministry of Jesus Christ to the Jews, which began with Jesus' Baptism by the Holy Ghost at the river Jordan, and ended with the stoning of Stephen.
In the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease:
Jesus was killed at the 3-and-a-half-year mark of the 7 years, which, as far as God was concerned, ended the need for further offerings and sacrifices, as evidenced by the slashing of the temple veil, from the top to the bottom: God did it!
Jesus' Ministry lasted 7 years; Jesus fulfilled the first 3 and a half years, and the Holy Ghost fulfilled the last 3 and a half years:
      John 14:16 KJV -
      And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever;
The use of the word another means that Jesus is also a comforter.
      John 14:26 KJV -
But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.
      The covenant:
      Acts 3:25 KJV -
Ye are the children of the prophets, and of the covenant which God made with our fathers, saying unto Abraham, And in thy seed shall all the kindreds of the earth be blessed.
      Thy seed:
      Galatians 3:16 KJV -
Now to Abraham and his seed were the promises made. He saith not, And to seeds, as of many; but as of one, And to thy seed, which is Christ.
Even though God chose the physical lineage of Abraham, Isaac, Jacob/Israel, Judah, Pharez, and King David, to accomplish the promise of eternal life for the elect sheep, the real seed here is Jesus Christ himself, who, through his Crucifixion and Resurrection, accomplished the promise of eternal life for the sins of many: the predestinated elect sheep, both of the Jews and of the Gentiles (non-Jews).
      Galatians 3:17 KJV -
And this I say, that the covenant, that was confirmed before of God in Christ, the law, which was four hundred and thirty years after, cannot disannul, that it should make the promise of none effect.
The promise was accomplished by Abraham's seed: Jesus Christ himself, FOR THE SINS OF MANY:
Hebrews 9:28 KJV - So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation.
      THE SABBATH YEARS:
      (Leviticus 25:1-4 KJV; 2 Chronicles 36:21 KJV)
The 70 years of the Jewish captivity is sandwiched between two periods of 490 years each:
God told his people to plant for 6 years, leaving the land to rest/lie fallow on the sabbath year (the 7th year) of every 7-year cycle, and he would provide the increase of food for the rest year; but unfortunately the children of Israel did not obey; they planted every year, thereby owing God 70 years of the first period of 490 years. One seventh of 490 years is 70 years. So they went into 70 years of captivity. Then God provided the seed, Jesus Christ, in the second period of 490 years. All 3 periods are continuous and without gaps.
And he shall confirm the covenant
WITH MANY for one week (7 years):
      IMPORTANT:
The 7 years of Daniel 9:27 KJV is the 7-year Ministry of Jesus Christ the Messiah (the Christ, the Anointed).
Please note that these 7 years of Jesus Christ's Ministry in Daniel 9:27 KJV are past, and not some concocted future 7-year great tribulation period two thousand years into the future, around which is a secret rapture of the Christians: the Christians disappear. If the 7 years is Christ's Ministry, there is no future 7-year tribulation; also don't count on a rapture; count on the Second Coming:
      BE NOT DECEIVED:
      Ephesians 5:6 KJV -
Let no man deceive you with vain words: for because of these things cometh the wrath of God upon the children of disobedience.
Saying that the seven years are future is tantamount to denying that Jesus Christ ever had a Ministry in this earth, and that he ever existed. This is a very serious offence to Almighty God!
In light of this, so that there is no confusion, the passage in
1 Thessalonians 4:13-18 KJV is not describing a secret rapture, but rather the Second Coming of Jesus Christ:
      1 Thessalonians 4:15 KJV -
For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep.
      1 Thessalonians 4:16 KJV -
For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:
For a secret rapture, it sounds like a very loud event.
The preceding verses describe the resurrection of the dead and the living, at the end of time (the harvest/Second Coming).
      2 Peter 3:10 KJV -
But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.
      2 Peter 3:12 KJV -
Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat?
      2 Peter 3:13 KJV -
Nevertheless we, according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness.
      Job 14:10 KJV -
But man dieth, and wasteth away: yea, man giveth up the ghost, and where is he?
      Job 14:12 KJV -
So man lieth down, and riseth not: till the heavens be no more, they shall not awake, nor be raised out of their sleep.
Man will only resurrect when the old earth passes away, at the Second Coming.
No amount of works will get any one into heaven; but the sincere profession of belief in Jesus Christ is the evidence that someone is an elect sheep (a child of God, who is an heir to life eternal):
      1 John 5:1 KJV -
Whosoever believeth that Jesus is the Christ is born of God: and every one that loveth him that begat loveth him also that is begotten of him.
      1 John 5:4 KJV -
For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith.
      1 John 5:5 KJV -
Who is he that overcometh the world, but he that believeth that Jesus is the Son of God?
The heirs to eternal life are the called elect, of both the Jews and of the non-Jews:
      Hebrews 9:15 KJV -
And for this cause he is the mediator of the new testament, that by means of death, for the redemption of the transgressions that were under the first testament, they which are called might receive the promise of eternal inheritance.
      Amen!

    Jesus was risen
    Mark 16:9
Mark 16:9 KJV - Now when Jesus was risen early the first day of the week, he appeared first to Mary Magdalene, out of whom he had cast seven devils.
Jesus was risen (alive), not the actual act of rising.
Was risen is his state of being, not the rising itself.
The rising happened on Saturday just before sundown.
Today I can say, Jesus is risen (alive). Tomorrow, referring to today, I can say that yesterday I said that Jesus was risen.
In both cases I'm referring to his being alive, his state of being, and nothing to do with his resurrection, which happened earlier.
Early the first day of the week is when he appeared to Mary Magdalene, a verified fact, not his actual resurrection, which happened on Saturday just before sundown.
Jesus was buried on Passover, Wednesday (nisan 14) just before sundown, and he rose on Saturday (nisan 17) just before sundown.
On Sunday (nisan 18) in the morning he as the high priest was waving himself as the firstfruits of the Harvest (The Second Coming).
What happened to Jesus at his first coming is what will happen to God's predestinated elect at his Second Coming:
1 Corinthians 15:20 KJV - But now is Christ risen from the dead, and become the firstfruits of them that slept.
1 Corinthians 15:23 KJV - But every man in his own order: Christ the firstfruits; afterward they that are Christ's at his coming.
Now is Christ risen from the dead doesn't mean that he resurrected NOW; it rather means that he is alive (risen).

    Truth eliminates confusion:
    72 hours or 36 hours?
Jonah was entombed in the whale's belly, and Jesus was also entombed.
If the Messiah says that he will be emtombed/buried three days and three nights, three full 24-hour days, each day having two periods, starting with night/evening, followed by daylight/morning, he must accomplish the prophecy.
If Jesus wasn't buried 72 hours, he would not be the Messiah.
And that is the point. Churches which profess that three days and three nights is 36 hours are worshiping a false Jesus, a false Messiah; thereby giving real Christians a bad name, and equating real Christians with false Christians in the same light.
If a non-Christian questions how can he believe a God that prophesies 72 hours in the grave, when he spent instead 36 hours buried, what kind of excuse do we give that non-Christian for the Messiah's failure?
The Messiah is always 100% correct; that's how you know he's the Messiah.
He gave one sign of his Messiahship, and you had better believe this is important, that three days and three nights is fundamentally important. You can say that a day can be 12 hours; but when you have three days, you can't have nights missing.
The Holy Bible (KJV) has no contradictions; that's how you know that you are reading The Holy Bible, instead of the hundreds of counterfeit bibles out there.
The other expressions all qualify for 72 hours:
    In three days,
    The third day,
    After three days.
After three days means upon the completion of three days, not three days plus a fourth day.
If we tell a non-Christian the truth, that non-Christian won't be confused by hypocrisy, and thereby will see a reason for the hope that is in us.

    The two Salvations:
    Eternal Salvation vs. Temporal Salvation
Believing in Jesus Christ is simply the evidence of a predestinated elect person that was saved before the foundation of the world: before Creation itself.
An already eternally saved person professes Christ, who is sealed to eternal life, not to obtain eternal life.
No works can obtain eternal life; works are simply the evidence of a person who already has eternal life.
The distinction is that there are 2 salvations: eternal salvation, and temporal salvation here in time.
Eternal salvation is sealed by God, through his grace: undeserved mercy. No works can buy eternal life. God is the one who did all the work, being God's freewill. We have no freewill for eternal salvation; if we did, we would screw it up.
The other salvation: temporal salvation is obeying God while living in this world, which comes with blessings. For temporal salvation, we exercise our freewill, receiving either blessing or punishment.
The Holy Bible has 2 salvations; and it is our duty and obligation to discern between the two; otherwise, there is no end to the confusion.
    God bless!

      God bless!

Hi Sir your teachings are excellent 👌. It's my opinion that Jesus Christ crucified on Thursday 🙏🙏🙏
If Jesus Christ died on Wednesday 3pm. By Saturday 3pm it will complete 3 complete days. And 4th day starts. According to the Scriptures Jesus Christ should rise from dead on 3rd day.
It's my opinion that Jesus Christ crucified and died on Thursday and rose from death on 3rd day. Sir 🙏. Thank you 🙏

He had the passover meal, this is after sunset of the 14th day. He is taken by priest guards early in the morning, still the 14th. Later, same day, he is crucified and gives up the ghost at the 9th hour. Before the Sabbath, before sunset, he is placed in the tomb. He rest on the Sabbath and God raised him early on the 1st day of the week. So, we have the 14th, 15th (Sabbath) and the 16th resurrection. I suggest you read Matthew Ch 26-27, Mark Ch 14-16, Luke Ch 22-24 and John Ch 18-20 kjv. Understanding the Book of John, the Jews would have stoned Yeshua if it were not for the day of Passover....so, they could not put him to death, this is why they needed the Romans to do the deed. So, the three days are 14th (Friday) 15th (Sabbath) and 16th (first Day of the Week). Peace!

      Matthew 26:59 KJV -
      Now the chief priests, and elders, and all the council, sought false witness against Jesus, to put him to death;
      1 Corinthians 15:1 KJV -
      Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand;
      1 Corinthians 15:2 KJV -
By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain.
      1 Corinthians 15:3 KJV -
      For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures;
      God bless!

      Jesus ate the Passover meal
Christ fulfilled the law perfectly, by eating the Passover at the start of Jewish nisan 14 Wednesday, in accordance with Exodus 12.
The lamb gets selected on nisan 10, and killed on the evening of nisan 14, Jewish Wednesday evening, at the beginning of Jewish Wednesday (Roman Tuesday evening).
      Luke 22:13 KJV -
And they went, and found as he had said unto them: and they made ready the passover.
If they made ready the passover, the passover meal was happening.
      Luke 22:14 KJV -
And when the hour was come, he sat down, and the twelve apostles with him.
Jesus sat down to eat the passover meal.
      Luke 22:15 KJV -
And he said unto them, With desire I have desired to eat this passover with you before I suffer:
Jesus had been looking forward to eating the passover meal he was about to eat.
      Luke 22:16 KJV -
For I say unto you, I will not any more eat thereof, until it be fulfilled in the kingdom of God.
This would be Jesus' last passover meal in this earth, though, in heaven, he would again eat a passover meal.
      The language is very plain:
      2 Corinthians 11:3 KJV -
But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve through his subtilty, so your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ.
      God bless!

    God bless!

If Iranians gather at the Market place in their Tehran, they will find Jesus waiting there crying out with a loud voice (St John 7:37-39). They do not have to say a repentance prayer to receive Jesus Christ, such prayer is optional. They simply needs to believe that He is God's son and He has been resurrected (Acts 10:44).

      Believing in Jesus Christ
is the evidence of being elect
Believing in Jesus Christ is the evidence that a person is already a predestinated elect child of God, who already is eternally saved. You don't believe in Jesus in order to have eternal life; you believe in Jesus because you are already ordained to eternal life.
Acts 13:48 KJV - And when the Gentiles heard this, they were glad, and glorified the word of the Lord: and as many as were ordained to eternal life believed.
You believe because you are born again. The first birth was physical, but the second birth is spiritual. You have no control over either birth. God does all the work. Any good works are merely evidence of being elect to eternal life.
The Holy Bible (KJV) is not a book on how to get to heaven. The Holy Bible is a book written to eternally saved people, telling them how they got eternally saved, by the finished work of Jesus Christ.
What saved the elect is the faith of Chist, and the work of Christ.
The elect didn't do any thing to get eternal life.
The elect are decreed to life eternal.
The elect were chosen before the foundation of the world: before Creation.
For those wondering as to whether it's fair to choose some and not others,
think of the elect as good seed (wheat), and tares as bad seed. If God didn't elect the wheat, the wheat being sinners would perish along with the tares. No one would inherit eternal life.
Any sincere profession that Jesus is the son of the Living God is a result of regeneration (being born again/born spiritually); and this regeneration is what gives the elect the faith of Christ, not our own faith. That is why we are able to believe in Jesus Christ. On our own, we have no ability to believe.
      The are 2 salvations:
Eternal Salvation, already sealed by God.
There is also temporal salvation here in this earth: obeying God, and receiving his blessings.
If we disobey God, we suffer his wrath.
Belief and good works are merely the evidence that a person is already decreed to eternal life, not to buy our way into heaven.
God already took care of eternal life. If we had to do something to get to heaven, we would most assuredly screw it up.
Read Ephesians chapters 1 and 2.
Read Romans chapters 8 and 9.
      Read 1 John chapter 5.
      Read John chapter 3.
If we have to believe in Jesus to get to heaven, believing would be a work, and works can't get us into heaven. Belief is a gift from God, by regeneration, and the faith of Jesus Christ, not our own faith.
Ephesians 2:8 KJV - For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:
Ephesians 2:9 KJV - Not of works, lest any man should boast.
Ye is the elect, not all people in general.
And remember: whether it's Jesus or Paul speaking, always pay attention to who the audience is, whether it's the saved or the unsaved.
As an example, the beginning of Paul's letters are addressed to saved people (the predestinated elect).
      God bless!

      God bless!

    The REAL Jesus Christ:
Jesus' burial on Wednesday just before sunset till Saturday just before sunset is the only timeline that fits, fulfilling the three days and three nights in the tomb, 72 hours. It's crucially important that Christ was 72 hours in the grave, because that was the only sign he gave to the world to prove he is the Messiah (the Christ, the Anointed). If he had been buried one second less or one second more than 72 hours, he would not be the Messiah. It's not enough to say that what's important is that he was crucified, died, and rose again. It's necessary that he fulfill 72 hours in the grave, proving he is the Messiah.
Keeping in mind that a Jewish day begins at sunset: Christ was buried towards the end of Wednesday Nisan 14, and rose from the dead towards the end of Saturday Nisan 17, the day of Salvation. Nisan 17 is also when Noah's Ark rested upon the mountains of Ararat. (Genesis 8:4) This was a foreshadowing of the Resurrection of Jesus Christ.
It says the Ark rested on the 17th day of the seventh month (Jewish Civil Calendar: Nisan is the seventh month). And Jesus rose on the 17th day of the first month (Jewish Feast Calendar: Nisan is the first month). No matter which Jewish calendar you use, Nisan always occurs in March or April. This is beyond coincidence. It's God's plan of salvation.
So the question remains: If Jesus rose just before sunset on Saturday Nisan 17, why did he appear on Sunday morning to Mary Magdalene when she was weeping outside the tomb?
The answer is that Jesus was preparing himself to be offered as the Firstfruits of the harvest. (Leviticus 23:9-11)
    Leviticus 23:9 KJV
And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,
    Leviticus 23:10 KJV
Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, When ye be come into the land which I give unto you, and shall reap the harvest thereof, then ye shall bring a sheaf of the firstfruits of your harvest unto the priest:
    Leviticus 23:11 KJV
And he shall wave the sheaf before the LORD, to be accepted for you: on the morrow after the sabbath the priest shall wave it.
Jesus Christ is both the high priest and the sheaf of the firstfruits.
In verse 11, please note that the priest must wave the sheaf on the morrow after the sabbath. The morrow after the sabbath (Saturday) is the next day: Sunday. The implication of this is that, if Christ rose on Sunday, the sheaf cannot be offered/waved on that same Sunday, as the priest must first wait for the sabbath (Saturday) to pass. If Christ rose on Sunday, Christ himself as priest would be breaking the law by not waiting a week for the following Saturday to pass, and wave/offer himself as the sheaf the following day: Sunday (which would be Sunday a week after the Resurrection). But since Christ offered himself as the sheaf on Sunday, that is proof that he rose from the dead on Saturday. This alone is irrevocable proof that our Lord rose on Saturday.
Right after he sent away Mary Magdalene, He ascended up to heaven, to be accepted as the Perfect Sacrifice, in the real Temple in Heaven.
The harvest is the Second Coming of Jesus Christ. (1 Thessalonians 4:13-18)
The Bible does not say that Jesus rose on Sunday; it just says that the women found an empty tomb.
Please observe Mark 16:9 as follows:
    Mark 16:9 KJV
Now when [Jesus] was risen early the first [day] of the week, he appeared first to Mary Magdalene, out of whom he had cast seven devils.
Jesus did not rise early on Sunday; Jesus was risen/alive when Mary met him the second time she went to the tomb that Sunday morning. The first time at the tomb, the women, along with Mary Magdalene, found an empty tomb. We must be careful discerners of the word of God.
Jesus actually fulfilled all the Spring Feasts: Passover (1 day); the Feast of Unleavened bread (7 days); Firstfruits (1 day); and Pentecost (50 days).
Firstfruits was the first of the 50 days of Pentecost. Upon rising from the dead, Jesus physically spent 40 days in earth, with the Holy Ghost continuing, including the 50th and final day of Pentecost.
Pentecost has to do with the Jews not keeping the land fallow every 7th year during a 490-year period, which led to the 70-year captivity, the time the Jews owed God for their disobedience.
This also led God to provide an appointed time of 490 years, with the last 7 years being Jesus Christ's Ministry to the Jews. Christ physically fulfilled 3 and a half years, with the Holy Ghost continuing that same Ministry for the remaining 3 and a half years. From the decree of a Medo-Persian King to restore and to build Jerusalem, till Christ's baptism in the river Jordan, it's exactly 483 years.
Christ's baptism is the beginning of his 7-year Ministry, and the stoning of Stephen is the end of Christ's 7-year Ministry. (Daniel chapter 9) Putting those seven years 2 thousand years into the future and calling it a 7-year tribulation has the effect of saying that Christ did not have a ministry in this earth, and that he never existed. It's that serious! There is only one REAL Christ. If what you believe is not according to the Holy Scripture, it ain't even the Gospel of Jesus Christ; it's a false gospel of a christ that doesn't exist. Be not deceived!
This period of 490 years is known as Daniel's 70 weeks prophecy, pinpointing the exact time of Jesus Christ's First Coming, his 7-year Ministry.
The proof for a Wednesday Crucifixion is to figure out the day when the women were able to buy and prepare the spices.
A Friday burial is 2 nights and 1 day (36 hours).
The women could not buy and prepare spices until Sunday during the daylight hours at the earliest. Too late.
A Thursday burial is 3 nights and 2 days (60 hours).
If Thursday was the day of the Crucifixion, that would make Friday the high annual sabbath, plus Saturday being the regular weekly sabbath. The women could not buy and prepare spices until Sunday during the daylight hours at the earliest. Too late.
A Wednesday burial is 3 days and 3 nights (72 hours).
The women could not buy and prepare spices on the next day, Thursday the high annual sabbath. The only day to buy and prepare spices was Friday, the day between the 2 sabbaths: Thursday and Saturday.
If Jesus spent 3 days and 3 nights dead in the grave, he is the Messiah.
Jesus was buried on Wednesday Nisan 14 just before sundown, and rose on Saturday Nisan 17 just before sundown. Passover was on Wednesday Nisan 14.
We've also been lied to about Palm Sunday, which never existed. Jesus' triumphal entries riding into Jerusalem were actually 2 successive Palm days: Friday and Saturday.
Friday Nisan 9 was in judgment.
And Saturday Nisan 10 was in blessing.
The Passover Lamb gets chosen on the 10th of Nisan, and killed on the 14th of Nisan. (Exodus 12)
The 15th of Nisan is the high annual feast sabbath.
Critics of the Wednesday-to-Saturday burial, will use Luke 24:21 as a way out of a Wednesday burial, and instead say that his burial was on Thursday. Christ walking with the two on the road to Emmaus:
    Luke 24:21 KJV
But we trusted that it had been he which should have redeemed Israel: and beside all this, to day is the third day since these things were done.
Here, Sunday being the third day since these things were done has to do with all the events of the Crucifixion, which are the Crucifixion, death, burial, as well as what happened the following day: Thursday: the sealing of the tomb, and setting a watch from Thursday till Sunday: this is what the third day is referring to in this verse, not the 3 days and 3 nights Jesus was dead in the grave/tomb. The sealing of the tomb on Thursday was the last of these things, and the third day in Luke 24:21 is counting from Thursday to Sunday, referring to the sealing of the tomb: the last of the Crucifixion events: these things.
Luke 24:21 is used as an excuse for a Thursday burial, if you use exclusive counting.
Luke 24:21 is also used as an excuse for a Friday burial, if you use inclusive counting.
There are even other ideas out there, that the Jews say that a part of a day can mean a full day; but Jesus doesn't agree: In John 11:9,10 Jesus mentions that a day has 12 hours, and he also mentions the night period: another 12 hours, for a full 24-hour day.
There are also people who think that the 72 hours started with Jesus in the Garden of Gethsemane, and ended with a Sunday sunrise resurrection, playing on the theme that the heart of the earth is Jerusalem, and not the inside of a tomb.
I've even heard of people who think the burial lasted just 24 hours: from Friday just before sunset till Saturday just before sunset, based on the word dawn in Matthew as follows:
    Matthew 28:1 KJV
In the end of the sabbath, as it began to dawn toward the first [day] of the week, came Mary Magdalene and the other Mary to see the sepulchre.
Dawn is morning before sunrise; never before sunset. This is the danger of reading only Matthew, and not getting the full account by reading also from Mark, Luke, and John, and other Bible passages.
Finally, get yourself The Holy Bible: King James Version (don't accept poor imitation bibles; and there are hundreds: counterfeits!) Without KJV, it is impossible to discern the truth.
If you've read this far, I believe you have a hunger for the Word of God, and I'll provide 2 references, which you may copy/paste, taking the time to study and absorb these teachings of the truth. What is truth? Pilate was standing right in front of the Truth and didn't even know it. God bless!

The Three Days and Three Nights that Changed the World
    (part 2 of 2)
John 12:1 KJV - Then Jesus six days before the passover came to Bethany, where Lazarus was which had been dead, whom he raised from the dead.
Nisan 8 is six days before the passover nisan 14. But exactly when was passover day nisan 14 in the year of The Crucifixion?
    It was Wednesday.
How do we know it was Wednesday?
Count 72 hours from just before sunset on Saturday to just before sunset on Wednesday.
Passover nisan 14 was a Wednesday, making nisan 8 a Thursday.
What if I told you that Good Friday, and Easter Sunday never happened.
    Also, Palm Sunday never happened.
There were actually 2 different palm days, and neither one was on a Sunday. Yes! Jesus had 2 triumphal entries into Jerusalem.
    This is the real timeline:
Nisan 8 Thursday Jesus has supper with Lazarus and his sisters, Martha and Mary.
Nisan 9 Palm Friday Jesus enters Jerusalem on one donkey, in judgment.
In the Old Testament, a judge would ride on a donkey.
Nisan 10 Palm Saturday Jesus enters Jerusalem on two donkeys, in blessing.
In the Old Testament, two donkeys represented blessing.
This is the day the Lamb gets chosen (Exodus 12:3). He cleansed the Temple on this day, Saturday.
Nisan 11 Sunday Jesus holds the Olivet discourse (Matthew 24, Mark 13, and Luke 21), prophesying the events culminating in A.D. 70, the destruction of Jerusalem, as well as the Second Coming.
    Nisan 12 Monday.
Nisan 13 Tuesday This is the day they made the preparations for the passover meal, or Last Supper.
Nisan 14 Wednesday Passover day; at sunset on Tuesday is when both the Passover day and the passover meal started.
Jesus died shortly after 3pm on Wednesday, and was buried that same Wednesday, just before sunset, still nisan 14, almost at the end of nisan 14. The next day would start at sunset.
(Nisan 14 passover is when the passover lamb gets killed; see Exodus 12:6; Jesus ate the passover meal, and later that Jewish day, he was sacrificed for the sins of many: the elect.)
Nisan 15 Thursday The High day, the first day of the feast of unleavened bread
(this high day started on Wednesday at sunset).
Nisan 16 Friday the regular day, when the women bought and prepared the spices
(this day started on Thursday at sunset).
Nisan 17 Saturday, the regular weekly sabbath, the day Jesus Christ rose from the dead
(this day started on Friday at sunset); Jesus rose on Saturday just before sunset, almost at the end of the regular weekly sabbath, nisan 17; only at sunset would the next day begin.
Nisan 18 Sunday the day of Firstfruits; this is what Jesus was doing at the tomb on Sunday morning; when he encountered Mary Magdalene, he as priest was getting ready to wave himself as the Firstfruits of the Kingdom of Heaven, or the Kingdom of God.
The elect shall have to wait for the Second Coming, when both the dead and the living shall rise to be with Jesus for ever.
1 Corinthians 15:20 KJV - But now is Christ risen from the dead, and become the firstfruits of them that slept.
1 Corinthians 15:23 KJV - But every man in his own order: Christ the firstfruits; afterward they that are Christ's at his coming.
The presenting, and waving of firstfruits cannot be on the same day.
Jesus rose on the weekly sabbath nisan 17; therefore, on that same day he presented the firstfruits.
And the next day, the first day of the week nisan 18, he waved the firstfruits.
If Jesus had risen on the first day of the week nisan 18, he presents the firstfruits this same day. But the waving of the firstfruits can only be a week later on the first day of the week nisan 25, because a weekly sabbath must pass (nisan 24).
    See Leviticus 23:9-11.
Firstfruits overwhelmingly disproves a Sunday resurrection.
Firstfruits nisan 18 was day 1 of the feast of weeks, and Pentecost was day 50.

    Palm Sunday Triumphal Entry:
    Faulty assumptions
The world has told us that Jesus, riding on a donkey, had a triumphal entry into Jerusalem on Palm Sunday, and that he was crucified on Good Friday, and resurrected on Easter Sunday.
Let's see whether this engrained belief stands up to the Scripture truth.
John chapter 12 says that the supper in Bethany was 6 days before the passover, making the next day the palm day 5 days before the passover.
Assuming this palm day is Palm Sunday, let's see whether this fits:
    Nisan:
8th six days before (Supper Saturday)
9th five days before (Palm Sunday)
    10th four days before (Monday)
    11th three days before (Tuesday)
    12th two days before (Wednesday)
    13th one day before (Thursday)
    14th passover (Friday crucifixion)
So far, every thing seems to fit, that in John 12 the palm day is five days before the passover: the palm day is nisan 9, and the passover is nisan 14.
But John chapter 12 does not say that the palm day is Sunday.
If the palm day were Sunday, you would correctly have a Friday crucifixion.
Another red flag is that the palm day is nisan 9, but the lamb gets chosen on nisan 10 (see Exodus 12).
The problem here is the assumption that the palm day is Sunday.
Would you believe me if I told you that Palm Sunday is a fairytale, and that one triumphal entry is also a fairytale.
Jesus is Lord of the sabbath, and the lamb gets chosen on nisan 10, making you wonder whether the palm day could be on nisan 10 a Monday, to fit the 10th as the day that the lamb gets selected.
Continuing with the 10th being the day the lamb gets chosen, let's play with the schedule:
Assuming nisan 10 is palm Sunday, then nisan 14 passover becomes Thursday, for a Thursday crucifixion.
A second assumption, that nisan 10 is palm Saturday, then nisan 14 passover becomes Wednesday, for a Wednesday crucifixion.
A third assumption, that nisan 10 is palm Friday, then nisan 14 passover becomes Tuesday, for a Tuesday crucifixion.
In all the scenarios mentioned, one statement can be made:
Nowhere does John chapter 12 say that the palm day is Sunday.
Assuming Sunday, or Saturday, or Friday, the palm day will lead you into a maze of possible crucifixion days on nisan 14.
And using only the gospel of John, it is not possible to arrive at a conclusion.
You must use all 4 gospels to prove the truth.
So what then is the truth?
I'll start first with the timeline of crucifixion week:
    Nisan 8 Jesus has supper in Bethany (six days before the passover);
    Nisan 9 palm Friday: Jesus rides into Jerusalem on a young donkey, in judgment (five days before the passover);
    Nisan 10 palm Saturday: Jesus rides into Jerusalem on both an adult donkey, and a young donkey (four days before the passover);
Nisan 11 Sunday (three days before the passover)
    Nisan 12 Monday (two days before the passover;
    Nisan 13 Tuesday (one day before the passover;
    Nisan 14 Wednesday passover crucifixion;
    Nisan 15 Thursday feast sabbath;
    Nisan 16 Friday regular business day the women bought and prepared spices;
    Nisan 17 Saturday Jesus Ressurects from the dead;
Nisan 18 Sunday Jesus as priest waves himself as the Firstfruits of the harvest.
    Firstfruits (see Leviticus 23:9-11)
The harvest is the Second Coming.
    (1 Thessalonians 4:13-18)
1 Corinthians 15:23 KJV - But every man in his own order: Christ the firstfruits; afterward they that are Christ's at his coming.
The key to the timeline is in Mark 11.
The day Jesus went into the temple and looked round about upon all things
(Palm Friday Mark 11:11) is not the same day that he cleansed the temple (Palm Saturday Mark 11:15).
The passage with 1 donkey (Palm Friday) is found in Mark, Luke, and John.
The passage with 2 donkeys (Palm Saturday is found only in Matthew.
The passage of Jesus pronouncing Judgment over Jerusalem (Palm Friday) is found only in Luke.
The passage of Jesus entering the temple and looking round about upon all things (Palm Friday) is found only in Mark 11:11.
The next day (Palm Saturday) Mark records the cleansing of the temple, which is the same day that Matthew records the 2 donkeys.
Jesus cleansing the temple (Palm Saturday) is recorded in Matthew, Mark, and Luke.
The next day (Sunday) Mark records the drying up of the fig tree cursed on Saturday, plus Saturday also being the day that Jesus cleansed the temple.
In Matthew it records that further on Jesus curses a second fig tree, which dries up immediately.
Matthew also confirms that this was the day after Jesus cleansed the temple.
    Palm Friday:
    Nisan 9
First, in Mark, Luke, and John, palm Friday Jesus rides into Jerusalem in Judgment, on a young donkey
    (1 beast).
Second, this was the day Jesus pronounced Judgment over Jerusalem, found in Luke.
Third, at the end of palm Friday Jesus entered into the temple and looked round about upon all things.
    (Mark 11:11)
    The next day:
    Palm Saturday:
    Nisan 10
First, as Jesus leaves Bethany, he curses a fig tree on the way to Jerusalem.
Second, in Matthew, Jesus rides into Jerusalem in Blessing, on both an adult donkey and on a young donkey
    (2 beasts).
Third, he enters and cleanses the temple.
    (Mark 11:15)
    The next day;
    Sunday:
    Nisan 11
First, as Jesus leaves Bethany for Jerusalem, he and the disciples witness that the fig tree cursed on palm Saturday had dried up.
    (Mark 11:20)
Second, further on, as they were entering Jerusalem, Jesus cursed a second fig tree, which dried up immediately.
The account in Matthew with the 2 donkeys occurred on the same day as the cleansing of the temple, palm Saturday, and Sunday the day after was the second fig tree which dried up immediately.
In conclusion, there was not 1 triumphal entry.
Instead there were 2 triumphal entries, and neither one was on a Sunday.
The 2 triumphal entries were on Palm Friday in Judgment; and Palm Saturday in blessing.
    Judgment:
In the Old Testament a judge would ride on a donkey.
    Blessing:
In the Old Testament 2 beasts of burden represented blessing.
The evidence is overwhelming for Three Days and Three Nights,
    a burial from
    Nisan 14 Wednesday
    just before sundown,
    till
    Nisan 17 Saturday
    just before sundown
    exactly 72 hours.
A day can be 12 hours, but when you have 3 days, you can't have nights missing.
A full day has 2 periods of 12 hours each:
    John 11:9 KJV -
Jesus answered, Are there not twelve hours in the day? If any man walk in the day, he stumbleth not, because he seeth the light of this world.
    John 11:10 KJV -
But if a man walk in the night, he stumbleth, because there is no light in him.
The third day, In three days,
    after three days:
All these expressions mean 72 hours.
The word of God always has perfect correlation, and no contradictions.

    Luke 24:21
Luke 24:21 KJV - But we trusted that it had been he which should have redeemed Israel: and beside all this, to day is the third day since these things were done.
This is what the Scripture says, in The Holy Bible, King James Version (KJV).
We have to be mindful of which Bible is the Textus Receptus. It cannot be both KJV, and the New Age bibles.
Even if a specific verse is not drastically different, we have to decide whether to read what God says, or what man says God says. This type of creativity is unwelcome to the purist.
Ok, Luke 24:21 refers to today is the third day since these things were done.
This verse is not referring to the burial day itself, but rather the third day since the sealing of the tomb, this being the last step of the events pertaining to The Crucifixion.
Jesus was buried on Wednesday, just before sunset (also Jewish Wednesday).
But the sealing of the tomb was on Jewish Thursday (after sunset on Roman Wednesday) because the Jewish leaders feared Jesus' body would be stolen by night.
The word of God has no contradictions, because it is God who authored it: it is God-breathed through inspiration of his prophets; if the prophet happens to be illiterate, it is his scribe who pens it; but God dictates to the prophet what is said.
We are not to read what we want a Bible passage to say; we are rather commanded by God to read what God actually says, no matter how inconvenient or uncomfortable:
2 Peter 1:20 KJV - Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation.
When we deviate from what The Holy Bible says, we run the risk of practising idol worship. Example: If you worship a Jesus that was buried for 36 hours from Friday till Sunday, you are worshipping another Jesus, which is not the Jesus of The Holy Bible, thereby worshipping a false Jesus.
A false Jesus is an idol who cannot save you, and is abomination to God Almighty!
Those who eliminate Friday as the burial day have a tendency to believe Thursday to be the burial day, because of Luke 24:21.
I have to accentuate that in order to follow the Crucifixion timeline, one must understand 3 things:
    (1) that 3 days is 72 hours;
    (2) you must be familiar with the Passover in Exodus 12, and that Passover can be on any day of the week; in Crucifixion year, Passover was on Wednesday nisan 14.
    (3) there were 2 sabbaths sandwiching the burial:
The Feast sabbath, Thursday nisan 15, and the weekly sabbath, Saturday nisan 17: the day of The Resurrection, and, praise God, also The Day of Salvation!
Further on point (1), that three days and three nights is 72 hours: three 24-hour periods, with each full day being 12 hours of night and 12 hours of daylight; you cannot have three days with nights missing. Jesus was in the grave/tomb 72 hours for a Wednesday burial and a Saturday Resurrection; not 60 hours for a Thursday burial and a Sunday-morning resurrection; and not 36 hours for a Friday burial and a Sunday-morning resurrection.
There are many videos and articles I've written regarding the proofs of the timeline of The Burial and The Resurrection, which I'll mention briefly here:
First Jesus' definition of a day, which has 12 hours of daylight and 12 hours of darkness (John 11:9,10).
You can generally say that a day can be 12 hours or 24 hours; but when you have 3 days, you can't have nights missing. Three days is 72 hours. God means what he says, and he forbids adding or taking away from his word.
Second, the women and the spices don't present a contradiction; they in fact prove that there were 2 sabbaths: a feast sabbath, and a weekly sabbath.
The feast sabbath was Jewish Thursday, which started on Roman Wednesday at sunset. You must be familiar with Exodus 12: the ordinances of the Passover; Passover can be on any day of the week, not always the weekly sabbath. In the year of The Crucifixion, the Passover was on Wednesday, Nisan 14.
Third, Mark 16:9 proves that the phrase Jesus was risen [on Sunday] is not the act of resurrecting, but his state of being: risen, because he rose from the dead on Saturday just before sunset.
Fourth, the proof only gets stronger: Firstfruits.
What happened to Jesus at his resurrection is what shall happen to his elect at the harvest: The Second coming.
Jesus is the firstfruits of the harvest.
So the question remains: if Jesus rose on Saturday just before sunset, what exactly was he doing at the tomb on Sunday morning when he encountered Mary Magdalene?
The answer is that Jesus is the Firstfruits of the harvest, and he, as priest, was getting ready to wave himself to God, as The Firstfruits of the harvest.
Firstfruits is explained in Leviticus 23:9-11, whereby the firstfruits are to be brought to the priest, and the priest is to wave them on the morrow after the sabbath (the day after the sabbath is Sunday).
Think about it: if Jesus rises on Sunday, how could the priest lawfully wave the firstfruits on that same Sunday, when he is commanded to wave them after the sabbath. The priest must lawfully wait a week for the next weekly sabbath to pass, in order to lawfully wave The Firstfruits the next day: on Sunday a week after resurrection Sunday, which is the day after the sabbath.
But since Jesus performed Firstfruits on that first Sunday, it is irrefutable proof that Jesus rose on Saturday, making that first Sunday the lawful day in which to offer himself as the firstfruits of the harvest.
Isn't the word of God beautifully pure and without contradictions, and with perfect correlation, as only the mind of God is able to establish.
Fifth, in reference to Genesis 8:4, upon careful study, you will find that the day Noah's Ark rested upon the mountains of Ararat, and the Saturday that Jesus rose from the dead are the same, which was nisan 17: The day of Salvation. Beyond coincidence, an act of the God of Creation, who is also the God of Salvation!
Noah's Ark rested on nisan 17 of the civil calendar, and Jesus resurrected on nisan 17 of the feast calendar.
God established the feast calendar in Exodus, making abib/nisan the first month of the year on the feast calendar, whereas nisan is the 7th month of the year on the civil calendar. Both on civil and feast calendars, nisan lands in March or April.
God's civil year starts in autumn/fall, which is September or October.

    The Bible vs. Traditions:
    Psalm 12:6 KJV
The words of the LORD are pure words: as silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times.
    Mark 7:13 KJV
Making the word of God of none effect through your tradition, which ye have delivered: and many such like things do ye.
    Example 1:
The world teaches a Friday crucifixion and a Sunday-morning resurrection, while the Bible teaches a Wednesday Crucifixion and a Saturday Resurrection.
    Example 2:
The world teaches a triumphal entry into Jerusalem on Palm Sunday, while the Bible teaches 2 triumphal entries into Jerusalem, and neither one was on a Sunday.
The 2 REAL triumphal entries into Jerusalem:
    Friday Nisan 9, in Judgment
    Saturday Nisan 10 in blessing
When people are steeped in traditions, Bible truth can cause shell shock, or cognitive dissonance.
But ultimately, we must conform to the Bible, instead of making the Bible conform to what we want it to say.
These examples of a Friday-to-Sunday burial, and the triumphal entry into Jerusalem on Palm Sunday, are just 2 of many which illustrate the difference between truth and fiction.
There are so many more examples:
    Example 3:
Daniel's 70 weeks prophecy clearly shows that Jesus would have a 7-year Ministry; but the world moved these seven years 2 thousand years into the future and calls it The Great Tribulation.
    Example 4:
The Bible clearly shows that the Second Coming of Jesus Christ is a very public and loud event, while the world calls it a secret Rapture (1 Thessalonians 4:13-18)
Based on the fictional Great Tribulation period of 7 years, the world has 3 views of when the secret Rapture happens (the point at which the Christians disappear):
    Pre-Trib = just before the 7-year Tribulation;
    Mid-Trib = at the halfway point of the 7 year-Tribulation (at the three-and-a-half -year mark);
    Post-Trib = right after the 7-year Tribulation;
The Bible truth is that the real event is the Second Coming.
    Example 5:
The shape of the earth. The world makes you choose between heliocentric and geocentric earth (a spinning ball earth with either the sun being in the center of a solar-system model, or the earth being the center of that same Solar-system model), when the truth is The Creation: a flat earth:
    Isaiah 40:22 KJV
It is he that sitteth upon the circle of the earth, and the inhabitants thereof are as grasshoppers; that stretcheth out the heavens as a curtain, and spreadeth them out as a tent to dwell in:
    Psalm 33:14 KJV
From the place of his habitation he looketh upon all the inhabitants of the earth.
Water flows downhill, fills the shape of its receptacle, and levels.
    Example 6:
The world portrays death as living in heaven or hell as soon as people die, while the Bible describes hell as the grave and that no dead person lives until the Second Coming of Jesus Christ. The verses people cite to try to prove immediate afterlife don't mean what people think they mean.
    Example 7:
The world is either Arminian, believing everything is freewill, or that everything is predestinated. These are the 2 extremes.
Complete freewill would make our God a weak God.
Predestination of all things is labeled Calvinism, and would make God the sinner, because every thing is predestinated: we would not be responsible for any of our sins, as we have no control of what we do.
The truth is that, when it comes to eternal life, God has predestinated the elect (his chosen, from both the Jews and the Gentiles: non-Jews). But when it comes to this life here on earth, God is not concerned with what color of shirt you wear today.
God works all things, but he doesn't predestinate all things:
    Ephesians 1:11 KJV
In whom also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestinated according to the purpose of him who worketh all things after the counsel of his own will:
    Ephesians 1:4 KJV
According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love:
    Acts 13:48 KJV
And when the Gentiles heard this, they were glad, and glorified the word of the Lord: and as many as were ordained to eternal life believed.
The parable of the wheat and the tares clearly illustrates the good seed, and the bad seed. The good seed will have eternal life: they will be imputed righteousness through the Crucifixion and the Resurrection of Jesus Christ.
Our works will not get us eternal life; our works are simply the evidence that we already have eternal life:
    1 John 5:1 KJV
Whosoever believeth that Jesus is the Christ is born of God: and every one that loveth him that begat loveth him also that is begotten of him.
The belief does not come from you; it is God who gives you the belief/faith.
    John 3:5 KJV
Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.
    John 3:8 KJV
The wind bloweth where it listeth, and thou hearest the sound thereof, but canst not tell whence it cometh, and whither it goeth: so is every one that is born of the Spirit.
Verse 5 has been used to justify mandatory baptism, but it simply describes the normal way you are born into the world, inside water, which breaks before your mother gives you birth. This is the natural birth.
Verse 8 describes the supernatural/spiritual birth, like the wind.
Just like you have no control over your first birth, you have no control over your second birth. The wind/Spirit affects those that are predestinated to eternal life.
For those who object to predestination, saying it's not fair, please observe that if God didn't choose some to eternal life, all people would be destroyed in the lake of fire: the second death.
Just like the first death is described as sleep (unconsciousness), the second death is a perishing: no consciousness.
Body + spirit (breath) = soul (conscience)
    Soul = life (consciousness).
    A soul is a person:
    Exodus 12:4 KJV
And if the household be too little for the lamb, let him and his neighbour next unto his house take it according to the number of the souls; every man according to his eating shall make your count for the lamb.
There are many other examples of truth and fiction, but these here suffice to show that truth must prevail; Jesus Christ is The Truth.
The only way you are going to get the truth is if you read The Holy Bible -King James Version (KJV). There are hundreds of false bibles.
Things that are different are not the same!
    God Bless!

      Dispensationalism/Futurism and Preterism/Past
      versus
      Historicism/The Truth
The short answer is that I have studied The Holy Bible, slowly and carefully.
I hope you have also been diligent in careful study.
We can both have a viewpoint; but if we have opposite viewpoints, logically speaking, either one of us is right, or we are both wrong.
      2 Peter 1:20 KJV -
Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation.
What matters is what is written by God in his Holy Scripture.
His Holy Scripture is found in The Holy Bible - King James Version (KJV).
Beware of New Age bible versions, which call themselves holy bibles, as they are propagated to destroy the real Holy Bible - King James Version (KJV), the culmination of God's work of preserving his holy word to the common people.
God promised to preserve his word, and he used The Protestant Reformation to give The Holy Bible to the common people, in the language of the common people.
Modern bible versions exist to make people question which one is God's word.
      God's name is I AM.
God doesn't change, so his word is unchanging, and his Bible has to be only one, not all bibles.
In case you're wondering, I'm not a member of any organized religion, and do not live my life after the traditions of man. I look to God for instruction, not man.
Dispensationalism/futurism and preterism/past may be more popular viewpoints, but they are not Biblical. The dispensational/futurism and the preterism/past viewpoints didn't exist until about the mid-1800's, and have been propagated by the same crowd that has published the said New Age bibles, especially since 1881.
      The majority is usually wrong.
I encourage you to study the Holy Bible - King James Version (KJV), the one that is going to reveal to you the truth: the simplicity that is in Christ.
If you read modern bible versions, expect modern bible versions, of the New Age movement, to fill your mind with pollution and confusion.
Dispensationalism/futurism is a false doctrine, based on the last 7 years of Daniel's 490 years, known as Daniel's 70 Weeks Prophecy.
The last 7 years were the Ministry of Jesus Christ.
It is an evil act to deny the 7-year Ministry of Jesus, and throw it 2 thousand years into the future. It is akin to denying that Jesus ever had a Ministry in this earth, or that Jesus ever existed--this is evil unbound! You will only understand this by reading the King James Version (KJV). So-called bibles will not give you a clear explanation of the 7-year Ministry of Christ.
Christ fulfilled physically the first 3 and a half years, and the Holy Ghost fulfilled the last 3 and a half years, guiding the Apostles in that area, a full 7 years already accomplished, not future.
A rapture is dependent on these 7 years being future, so
don't expect a rapture either; rather pray to God for understanding, in hope of the Second Coming (1 Thessalonians 4:13-18).
      Mark 7:13 KJV -
Making the word of God of none effect through your tradition, which ye have delivered: and many such like things do ye.
      Colossians 2:8 KJV -
Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ.
The New Age bibles are man's philosophy, because man doesn't like to hear what God says, so man writes his own bibles.
Examples of so-called bibles are NIV, NKJV, NASB, ESV, RSV.
Even beware of the notes attacking The King James Version, inside the pages of this real Bible, as the crowd that publishes the philosophy bibles is also the same crowd that publishes the King James Version (KJV); the difference is that the Scripture itself of the King James Version (KJV) cannot be changed, due to copyright by The Crown of England.
God exists, and he is powerful; and this being true, God is able to preserve his word.
      Matthew 24:35 KJV -
Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away.
Get yourself The Holy Bible - King James Version (KJV); and may you be fruitful in The Kingdom of God.
      God bless!

    Jesus of Nazareth
    is
    The real Jesus:
The Crucifixion and the Resurrection assured eternal life for God's predestinated elect.
It is important to discern between traditions and the truth.
The world will tell you that Jesus had a triumphal entry by riding into Jerusalem on a donkey on Palm Sunday, and that he was crucified, died, and buried on a Friday, rising from the dead on a Sunday morning (36 hours later).
The truth is that Jesus was crucified on Passover day nisan 14.
The Lamb gets chosen on nisan 10, and killed on nisan 14 (see Exodus 12).
The only way any of this works is if Jesus arrives from Jericho on Thursday nisan 8.
Then has his first triumphal entry on a donkey (in judgment) on Friday nisan 9.
Then has his second triumphal entry, on 2 donkeys (in blessing) on Saturday nisan 10, the day the Lamb is chosen.
Both Friday nisan 9, and Saturday nisan 10 were Palm days, not Sunday.
In Bible times, one donkey represented judgment: a judge would travel on a donkey.
    Also, 2 donkeys represented blessing.
Then on Sunday nisan 11 Jesus found the dead fig tree, which he cursed the day before, as well as cursing a second fig tree on Sunday nisan 11, which dried up immediately, nearer to Jerusalem. The first fig tree did not wither immediately, but the second fig tree did wither immediately.
Jesus was buried 72 hours in the tomb, from just before sundown on Wednesday nisan 14, Passover day, till just before sundown on Saturday nisan 17, a full 72 hours, fulfilling the sign of The Messiah: Three Days and Three Nights (Matthew 12:40).
Sunday morning of nisan 18, when Mary Magdalene encountered Jesus outside the tomb, Jesus was getting ready to wave himself as the firstfruits of the harvest (see Leviticus 23:9-11). Jesus, as priest, on Sunday lawfully waved firstfruits on Sunday (the morrow/day after the Sabbath), because he rose on Saturday. On Saturday the firstfruits were reaped and the sheaf of the firstfruits brought to the priest.
The waving of Firstfruits on Sunday nisan 18 marked the first day of the 50 days ending on Pentecost Sunday.
Jesus had 2 triumphal entries, and neither one was on a Sunday.
Jesus was buried 72 hours (Wednesday to Saturday), not 36 hours (Friday to Sunday).
The confusion is that there were 2 sabbaths: Jesus was buried just before the feast sabbath: Thursday nisan 15 (sundown on Wednesday), not the weekly sabbath: Saturday nisan 17.
Nisan 17 is the day of Salvation, which is also the day Noah's Ark rested upon the mountains of Ararat (see Genesis 8:4). Nisan was the 7th month of the civil calendar, and God later made nisan the first month of the feast calendar (in Exodus).
Both Jesus and the Ark were saved on nisan 17!
    God is I AM.
What happened to Jesus, eternal life, is what will happen to his elect at the harvest: The Second Coming.
Jesus is the firstfruits of the harvest.
1 Corinthians 15:20 KJV - But now is Christ risen from the dead, and become the firstfruits of them that slept.
1 Corinthians 15:23 KJV - But every man in his own order: Christ the firstfruits; afterward they that are Christ's at his coming.

    God versus traditions:
It's ok to have an opinion; but it's more important to examine the facts of The Holy Bible - King James Version -KJV. We must be good Bereans, and examine all things Scripture, to determine whether the Bible or traditions is telling the truth, by way of logic and reason.
Just because we have a 2000-year history of tradition from the Cross, it doesn't necessarily mean that we've been told the truth.
The world lies to us every day, never mind the lies that can be passed on over a period of thousands of years.
Bible scholars call themselves higher critics, but not to uphold or defend the word of God, but rather to criticize and attack the word of God.
When we read The Holy Bible, we have to read it with a heart for God, not to debate God.
Before reading the Bible, we all should pray for discernment, so that we read what is actually there, what God says: what the Bible says, rather than what the world says or what we want the Bible to say.
As an example, it's faulty logic to run with a Bible verse out of context, and making it mean what we want it to mean, instead of analyzing the various related verses and passages, in order to obtain a deeper understanding.
When reading the Bible, it's also a good idea to pay attention to the audience of the passage being read. As an example, Paul writes his letters/epistles to the elect (already eternally saved people), not to the world at large.
Eternally saved people are the predestinated elect. If one believes with a sincere heart that Jesus Christ is the son of the living God, that is merely the evidence of being elect. The belief is the evidence that we have eternal life. If we had to believe as a condition to go to heaven, that belief would be a work, and no works can buy our way into heaven. The elect go to heaven because it is a gift of God, through his grace (undeserved mercy). Read Ephesians chapters 1 and 2. Also read Romans chapters 8 and 9.
The Bible is not a book on how to get to heaven. The Bible is a book written to eternally saved people, telling them how they got eternally saved, by the finished work of Jesus Christ.
A logical study of the events of Crucifixion week is very time-consuming; but as we proceed and learn more, the reward is priceless.
No one can know every thing about the Bible; but on this topic of Crucifixion week, as well as the major themes of the Bible (creation, death, salvation), I can say that I've done my homework and found the facts. The study has been fascinating, way beyond any thing that traditions teach. Truth is truly stranger, and more interesting than fiction. I've gone on to do UA-cam videos, and community posts on my UA-cam channel. I've laid the evidence, which cannot be disproven.
And I can't stress enough that you use The King James Bible (KJV), The Holy Bible itself, the undiluted word of God, as there is a New Age Movement of Bibles, about 900 bibles that may look similar to the King James; but when you examine critical doctrine, they greatly differ, even from each other. Don't waste your time; read KJV. Accept no poor imitations.
    Let's examine point-by-point a few things:
My premises would be incorrect, if you prove, through Scripture, that they are incorrect.
There, in fact, is evidence of
2 Triumphal Entries; you must analyze the timeline in Mark, using the 4 gospel books, even other passages such as Paul's epistles. The whole Bible is at your disposal for reference.
I've written an article called Palm Sunday Triumphal Entry: faulty assumptions, in which I made reference to a unique article called Jesus Enters Jerusalem - Twice!
This unique article is eye-opening and should be required reading in every classroom, and all Bible readers should read it. You can also find all my videos and articles on my UA-cam channel's community tab, including the mentioned article on 2 Entries, whose link is provided. Also watch my video called Timeline of Crucifixion Week, as well as my big video, called The Crucifixion and Resurrection of Jesus Christ - The God of Creation Is Also the God of Salvation.
Reread my article on Palm Sunday Triumphal Entry: faulty assumptions.
If you don't take the time to study and absorb these teachings, you will have no excuse for not knowing the truth, and continue to place your stock on traditions, rather than the word of God.
God values his holy name; but he places an even greater value on his words. God means what he says, and every word is important. That is why you need to read the King James, the undiluted word of God.
As regards the second triumphal entry, on Saturday, you very well know that the restriction of activities on the sabbath is a restriction of the Pharisees, out of what they brought back from the Babylonian Captivity, not prohibited by God Almighty, Jesus Christ, who is Lord of the sabbath.
If you will carefully examine all the gospels, you will find that all the gospels are in perfect harmony. You may conclude that the women came to the tomb at dawn, and that the women came twice to the tomb. The first time, the tomb was empty. The second time, Jesus encountered Mary Magdalene; and a little later, Jesus met all the women on the road, as they were making their way to the Apostles.
Read the articles I mentioned, and watch the videos I mentioned. Reread the 4 gospels.
And if you want, you may continue to listen to the scholars and their traditions.
But I'm hoping you will rise above the scholars and do your own homework, your own research. And after you do your own research, your opinion might still differ from mine, which is ok. But I believe God will open the Scriptures if you proceed with a heart for God, not to debate God.
    God bless!

Jesus, shortly after he sent away Mary Magdalene, Jesus performed Firstfruits (Leviticus 23:9-11 KJV).
He as priest was waving himself as the sheaf of the firstfruits of the harvest (the harvest is the Second Coming).
Firstfruits must be presented to the priest and the priest waves the sheaf to God, on the morrow after the sabbath: the day after the sabbath, which is Sunday.

Does The Holy Bible say that Jesus was crucified on Friday and resurrected on Sunday?

      God bless!

      Matthew 26:59 KJV -
      Now the chief priests, and elders, and all the council, sought false witness against Jesus, to put him to death;
      1 Corinthians 15:1 KJV -
      Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand;
      1 Corinthians 15:2 KJV -
By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain.
      1 Corinthians 15:3 KJV -
      For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures;
      God bless!

    Nisan 8 Jesus has supper in Bethany (six days before the passover);
    Nisan 9 palm Friday: Jesus rides into Jerusalem on a young donkey, in judgment (five days before the passover);
    Nisan 10 palm Saturday: Jesus rides into Jerusalem on both an adult donkey, and a young donkey (four days before the passover);
Nisan 11 Sunday (three days before the passover)
    Nisan 12 Monday (two days before the passover;
    Nisan 13 Tuesday (one day before the passover;
    Nisan 14 Wednesday passover crucifixion;
    Nisan 15 Thursday feast sabbath;
    Nisan 16 Friday regular business day the women bought and prepared spices;
    Nisan 17 Saturday Jesus Ressurects from the dead;
The passage with 2 donkeys (Palm Saturday) is found only in Matthew.
    The next day;
    Sunday:
