This video convinced me NOT to cut my hair. Specifically the looking like everyone else. Long hair isn’t something ppl can just decide to do. It takes time and dedication. Someone sees me out and about they can’t be like “you know what I’m going to try long hair tomorrow”. Idk.. I just like the overall vibe I have with my hair. Thanks for the video

I used to have long curly hair (like this old pic profile) because i wanna feel different. I try all the color of the rainbow on my short hair and i was truly happy during the 6 first month. It's been 8 months now and step by step i'm on my way to get my long hair back. The journey is fun btw !
Novelty of long hair is real. I think short is just more functional and you can keep living life in it's fullness. I have "long" and I find it more often annoying when actually doing things like biking/motorcycle helmets, eating, sports what ever. If you are in to arts, computers... or being just in style world without doing anything for real.. Then long hair is nice.

I’m cutting my hair off today. Been 2 1/2 years. It’s pretty long. I had a lot of fun but now it’s becoming too much a part of my life. I don’t want my hair to be my whole personality. Have fun guys don’t get too attached plus I’ve a very active lifestyle so it’s just insanely time-consuming to take care of it. I already know I will regret it. I’m regretting it before my appointment. That’s why I’m watching this video. But there are pros and cons to everything in life.
@@poloslim6448 if you’ve pictured yourself without the hair, you’ll go through a couple of times of missing it just do not let yourself fall into regret. Everything has its season. With short hair you could spend a few months growing it back and have a little bit longer hairstyle for me. I do a buzz cut every now and then when I want to feel good I’ll go and get a haircut at the barbershop, it’s awesome! It also helps you focus on other things to make yourself better instead of focusing so much energy on the hair! If it’s what you want it and don’t look back!
I've had my long hair for about 2 years and almost 5 months now(Shoulder length) and I've been heavily thinking about cutting it. It was nice for a while but now it's getting to the point to where it's just too damn frizzy/hard to maintain and take care of and plus it always gets into my face. I felt like I had a nice little emo look for a while but then when it started to grow longer it's just started to make me look like Lord Farquad or Jesus and now I just feel a bit self-conscious about it. Girls have told me that they like it but I think it may be that time to finally part ways.

I actually miss how I had to move my hair from underneath my head before I slept. But I cut my long hair, too. I did it because i had those thoughts of cutting it several times and I didn't like how I looked shirtless with my long hair. I might grow it again because I miss how long hair feels more than how it looks. Last point: going from long hair to short hair is humbling. I think long hair boosted my ego, making me think I was better than other men who have short hair or are bald.

My hair was as long as yours. The main reason why I cut my long hair is because I was upgrading my career and when going into interviews I could tell by the micro-expressions on people’s faces that they felt I’m someone they couldn’t take seriously. Think of it what you will but the fact of the matter is that people will always judge you based on how you present yourself and having long hair gives the impression that you “don’t care.”
I agree with the sleep problem. I find that my head is way hotter with all this hair, (about 13”) and I miss that feeling of a shaved head. I was adamant about growing it out for the past 2 years. I’m donating my hair in February next year, time for a new change.
I been doing grow 3 years and cut for last 12 years, I'm now 40. I'm single, by choice, a musician and nurse by trade, and I'll say having long hair is a feeling of freedom not many have the luxury or option to grow. We are wise beyond our years, and know patience. Everything takes time. Cutting it is a rebirth, every time. You do it till you can't. I do donate mine and man it feels good to go short. Now I, as a haircutter, am anxious because the boy in the middle of the cutting started to hesitate and regret and the hair can only be recovered by waiting. We had to interrupt the operation. Now have to finish it at the barbershop.

@@MinionTomato1 my girlfriend doesn’t like my long hair after it reached a certain length but she does like it tied up in a man bun which I really don’t like but that’s an option. If you decide to cut it maybe just cut it medium length so if you hate it , won’t take as long to grow back. Check other factors if you are keeping in shape and stuff like that just incase it’s not your hair that’s the problem. I think you’ll find some women love long hair but most prefer it shorter.

I finally cut my shoulder length hair that was almost to the middle of my back about close to 2 weeks ago. The heat wasn't really a big factor as to why I cut it but it was more so of the fact that it kept getting into my face and tangling/frizzing and all of that jazz. It got to the point to where it was embarrassing for me of how unkempt it was and I was starting to wear a hat at work to cover it and then my bosses made up some rule saying I couldn't wear a hat anymore in the building. It got to the point to where I said F this and decided to finally cut it after 2 years and almost 5 months. I now have the sides trimmed down but not too short and my barber left some hair on the top as well and I can still do the parted look kind of like how those emo vocalists look in those metalcore bands. The day I came into work when I cut my hair everybody was shocked and I had compliments from coworkers and customers all week saying I was handsome and looked younger so I guess it all paid off in the end. No idea if ever I'll decide to grow it out that long again but that was a phase I'll never forget.

Even though it is more convenient a feel like it just is not my style . Maybe it will change after time but I doubt it . Well at least a can now grow them again stronger , thicker and in better condition in general since now I know how to care for them more

I will do trims in between just so it doesn’t look like a mess. I think that’s what made me draw the line. The fact that it was too much thick hair on the sides and I never did anything about it. But it was nice. I’m doing it again tho.

@@haroldarceo5285 well, I haven’t cut it ever since. 4 weeks isn’t that long but I’ve also started my little facial hair grow rather than shaving every 2 days. I will do trims in between just so it doesn’t look like a mess. I think that’s what made me draw the line. The fact that it was too much thick hair on the sides and I never did anything about it. But it was nice. I’m doing it again tho.

@@haroldarceo5285 hey I have long hair for about 2 years now and i my temples are starting to recede well on one side it’s beginning to recede it’s so strange just one side but I think it’s because I tie my hair up everyday , I don’t want to cut my hair though even if my hairline is bad I just like my hair but I feel like short hair will just stop the paranoia with my hairline , but I don’t know what I’ll do to be honest , I’ll end up getting a transplant in a few years I think , I just have to see how everything plans out I guess
man the hardest part is the awkward phase for me....when its long but not long enough to tie back so i went through months of wearing a beanie and it sucks...
