Rust is an action-packed Survival adventure game. Whilst PvP is a dominant part of the game, base building and coming up with unique constructions whilst also trying to survive in the harsh lands of Rust is what makes Rust.. well Rust. Next time place the battery in the cave and run up and see where it can reach and then build the base there.Also try placing a switch or splitter high up to get extra length.

Nice. Next time put a branch on the ceiling and run out with the tool to see where you have range. Then stick your surface base or just a root combiner there.
I think cave bases should always be built from the entrance, so you can always have a nice bunker in the front.

Great video and nice base. Next time you run into a big group like that, just do anything you can to annoy them until they are forced to online raid your cave fortress!! Doorcamp them, TC grief them, wall them in, you name it. if they offline you then you can at least count how much rockets you've made them waste on you. Looking forward to the next video. 1 million subs in 2025! :)
doesnt work tested it out and got an auto turret at my entrance and got the caved walled in and its been 3 days and they still aint raid me by base is just sitting there

cali you could have used a generator to to charge the batterys in the cave with out having to take the battery up to the top every time since you were putting the oil refinery in the cave
its just not a efficient way to get a good amount of charge

That window adds a huge weakness to the bunker since at most it's 2 c4 to blow it

Absolutely love the shade at rust , the game was so good until they made the hardest guns to make and craft the shortest peices of garbage, you are a real one for pointing it out

Thanks, I did wait for at least 4 hours overnight but no one came :( I even had a shop showing 3k scrap and like 10k sulfur xD

Remember to move the full train car to the railroad offload crane and harvest the materials in the FULL train cars, every full train car is loot filled.
Sometimes you can place a branch on the floor of your base (above) and one at the highest point of the cave and those can reach each other. Then connect those to your battery system. I've only been able to do this on the large cave system with the spike pit down on the 2nd level large cave.

Hey man I know it's NOT really the point of the video, but you can simply place a square at each entrance out of twig until it is a successful roof bunker.
( just simply place a roof to left or right of the closed wall and see if you can still walk through)
From all triangles and the FIRST foundation after the square you RAISE as a triangle for 1 more bunker! (yes they can wipe the foundation and get through "2 walls for free" but at the end of the day so or so its a double bunker before they are in.
This is both cheap and achievable as a solo and usually ENOUGH (obv 2-3 doors as an airlock)
Especially on high pop servers you dont have time to build your cave from back to front like this you need to secure it MAX within 1 H of wipe.
I got a couple more cave base tips if anyone really needs them :)

You could put the coffin on the roof! Also you can extend your wire for ur battery by using a memory cell as an extension point
